All About The Pipes Plumbing

I found them on Angie's List and I've used them for years. They are excellent.

We called them to remove a clog in the kitchen sink and in the process the drain pipe broke due to its age and condition. Water from the broken drain line flooded a basement studio. It was a mess and chaotic as we scrambled to remove everything valuable from the room. The plumber, Mark, immediately jumped in and helped, staying late to mitigate and check for damage. He even left a fan to help dry the area out. The next day the owner, Chris, personally called to discuss the situation. Never was anyone from their company defensive or rude. Mark came back and completely fixed the problem with a good attitude and an eagerness to make it right. It was not and ideal situation and it left a whole in a basement ceiling, but All About the Pipes handled it with professionalism and was courteous throughout the process. We will definitely hire them again as there is great value in hiring good people.

We called after returning from a trip and finding water under our kitchen sink and on the kitchen floor. Our toilets had been "singing" for some time. The technician arrived within an hour of our call. He was courteous and professional. The work was done quickly and appears to have been done well. The service is warranted for two years. We were surprised at the labor cost - $147 to repair the kitchen sink and $179 for repairing two toilets. Over $300 for a little over an hour's work, but otherwise we are pleased with the results. We didn't call anyone else, so we don't know how this compares to other providers' labor costs. We will definitely consider them for future work, but may do some price shopping first.

Company scams you into paying a price to quote the job, then prices jobs EXTREMELY high. He told us it would cost $250 to replace each faucet, and when asked why it was so high replied with 'that's just what we charge'. Quoted $750 for work described above, then said it would take 3-4 hours... Would only take a competent plumber 2 hours MAX.

Dishwasher has never worked better. No more dirt and dishes are supper clean. Plus he told me how to maintain it in the future.

I called first thing Monday morning and was told Mark could come out now and he did. Super nice person, efficient, gave clear explanations of what he was doing. Will definitely call again.

Plumber found toilet in the master barhroom was leaking. He removed toilet and pulled flooring back to look for damage underneath. He proposed a plan to replace the toilet after I get the floor replaced.

Excellent. They always call when they are on the way and give an approximate ETA. Early this time, did a good job and cleaned up.

This is the second time I have used All About the Pipes. I have a home warranty which I will never use again for plumbing!!!! Both times, the home warranty sent incompetent plumbers. All About the Pipes looked at the problem, offered a solution, and corrected the problem in record time! They are very professional and knowledgeable. I will call them first from now on with a plumbing problem!!!!

The owner Chris came out for the estimate. Very professional. We discussed my options. I feared that the tank water heater in the attic was a disaster waiting to happen should a serious leak ever develop. We discussed the Rinnai vs. the Navien NPE-240A units. After indicating that 1/2" gas line would need to be upgraded to 3/4'" for the Rinnai, he recommended the Navien. I agreed. On the day and time promised, the technician Dan arrived for the install. He was very professional and personable. He accommodated my choice of location for the unit. He worked efficiently and was very proud of his work. He demonstrated the unit and answered all my questions thoroughly. After over 3 months of use, my Navien NPE-240A tankless water heater has performed flawlessly. I am very pleased with the unit and the quality of the installation. My only minor complaint is that I was promised that runners would be laid down to protect my carpeting. This was not done. However, Dan noticed the stains on the carpet, and without being asked, he purchased carpet cleaner and cleaned all the carpet stains. Problem solved! Maybe the price wasn't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I will use All About The Pipes Plumbing for any of my future plumbing needs.

I called All About the Pipes to setup an appointment to take a look at a clogged disposal and toilet. Mark called me the morning of the appointment to inform me that he would be able to reach my home 30 minutes earlier than expected and if that was ok. Absolutely! When Mark arrived he addressed the toilet clog first and was able to clear it within 5 minutes! He then took a look at the garbage disposal and was able to free the disposal and get it working again but the teeth on the blades were slightly damaged. At that point Mark informed that the disposal will still work or he could install a more powerful disposal. I opted for the new disposal. Mark had the replacement disposal right on his truck and installed it with no problem. I absolutely will use them for all of my future plumbing needs!

Used this company at my work. Great communication, arrived exactly on time, professional and efficient and reasonably priced. Would definitely use them again.

Dan and Heath did a great job today. All done in 2 hrs. Very neat. I thought this would be a much more difficult job with the water heater being located in the attic. They are very experienced with this configuration and had no problems at all. This included draining old water heater through hose connection run into second bath bathtub, removing old 50 gal water heater, and taking up new 50 gal Rheem water heater via pulldown attic stairs. I have used them for other plumbing in the past. Always knowledgeable and a job well done.
