Albert's & AR Painting

Albert returned my call promptly when I called for an estimate. I had called several painting contractors for an estimate...some were just calling me back after Albert and his crew had already completed the job. They did great work and went above and beyond what they were paid to do. If you need painting, you should hire Albert's Painting to do your work. You will be pleased!

Great service. The gentleman was on time to provide the estimate. Delivered the estimate to me as promised. Walked through all options and the process. Did not go with this company as the price was significantly more than my other estimates. I feel confident they would have done a great job.

Estimate, which was simple but clear, was in middle of three candidates. Estimator agreed to use our choice of top quality Porter paints, and they did. We removed most items from walls, and painters did careful job of removing and then rehanging heavy ones and few hanging quite high. Completed the job in three days, working hard each day. Did an excellent job in painting and cleaned up each night. Did careful job moving and replacing furniture, including some big pieces. Willingly worked with us to find and correct places that needed additional painting. Although contract called for two coats, they did one coat where that worked and multiple coats where two were insufficient. Final coverage is fine. We think that they fulfilled their part of the bargain. Workers were clean and polite, but they might have shaved to improve their appearance and my wife's initial comfort level around them.

Great job! All work was done well, the crew was respectful of our family (including barking dogs!). They found some additional work needed and did it at very little additional cost. The price was much lower than the other quotes I received. Albert listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions to get the job done right. Great quality work.

Brian came out to give us an estimate. He was punctual and professional. He had great advice on color choices. (I've had multiple compliments on the colors he helped me choose.) The painters arrived on time Monday and were very quick and efficient. They would check in with me periodically during the assignment to make sure I was happy. When they were done they put everything back and cleaned up after themselves. They once again made sure everything was to my liking. I was very happy with their services and anticipate using them again in the future.

Very prompt to respond to our initial contact call. Brian is the estimator and he and Albert met with us several times. Very informative. Knew from the first meeting that this company understood the value of a job done well the first time around and how important doing a great paint was. He and his crew cleaned up after themselves, didn't hesitate to do any portion of the job; kept us informed of when they would be out, what they had accomplished that work day, what still needed doing. When additional wood rot was uncovered, gave us a very reasonable quote for the extra repair work. After painting was done, reviewed the whole house, washed the windows, and power washed our driveway. We opened the garage door too soon and Albert had no quibble about coming back and doing touch up work - no charge. 6 other of my neighbors have contracted with this Company.

The estimator arrived the same afternoon that I called and provided a reasonable price estimate for the work. Their painters were over the following Wednesday. They completed most of the work in 2 days, but did have to come back to put a fourth coat on the room (going from dark blue to light yellow is tough). The two painters were friendly and professional. They showed up promptly at 9 and worked solidly throughout the day. They put up plastic sheeting prior to sanding to help keep dust from going throughout the house. There were some nooks and crannies that needed some extra work and they gladly fixed them when we did a final check before paying them for the work.

FIRST LET ME SAY THAT THIS WAS A HUGE, INVOLVED PROJECT THAT LASTED 17 DAYS,LATE NIGHTS, AND EVEN WEEKENDS. THERE WAS A LOT OF NEGLECT BY THE PREVIOUS HOME OWNERS SO THERE WAS A LOT TO ADDRESS. ALBERT AND HIS CREW SPENT OVER A WEEK JUST PREPPING THE HOUSE AND PROPERTY. WHAT MOST IMPRESSED ME ABOUT ALBERT WAS HIS ATTENTION TO THE BIG PICTURE.NOT ONLY DID HE RENEW THE APPEARANCE OF MY HOME'S EXTERIOR BUT TOOK CARE OF SEVERAL "EXTRAS" THAT WERE NOT IN THE ORIGINAL PROPOSAL THAT I DID NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT. ALBERT ALLOWED ME TO "SHADOW" HIM AND HIS CREW EVERY STEP OF THE WAY AND TOOK CARE TO SATISFY EVERY REQUEST AND SUGGESTION THAT I MADE TO HIM THROUGHOUT THE JOB ALL WITH A SMILE AND NOT A DROP OF "ATTITUDE". ALBERT WAS ESPECIALLY THOROUGH WITH THE COMPLETION AND CLEANUP AND DID NOT CONSIDER THE JOB DONE UNTIL I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED. I ALSO APPRECIATED THAT ALL WORK WAS DONE "IN HOUSE". NO SUBS OR OUTSIDE PEOPLE WHICH WAS HUGE.ONE TEAM WITH ONE GOAL, TO MAKE ME EXTREMELY SATISFIED.

This was the second time we had used Albert. Like the first, our experience was wonderful start to finish. His estimator was extremely responsive and was able to schedule us in quickly around a busy holiday schedule. The quality of his work is top notch, doing great painting and protecting household goods while doing so. We look forward to using them next time!

Was very impressed with the customer service. Brian was very helpful and actually suggested to me that some things I was requesting in the estimate were not needed and would be excess costs. He could have just given me an estimate with everything I had asked for and it would have meant more money in his pocket. I felt Brian was very honest and above board with what really needed to be done and only wanted to quote me what was needed. I will absolutely call them again for any future paint work, interior or exterior.

From the moment we met Brian to the last day of painting, the professionalism and workmanship were absolutely terrific. Brian came to provide the estimate and answered any and all questions. He was professional and clean-cut. I cannot say enough good things about the crew. They were thoughtful and professional. They prepared all walls by first repairing any imperfections and then sanding down prior to painting (two coats). Personal recommendation; go with the Benjamin Moore paint. It's a much higher quality paint than those found at your local hardware store. It's thicker, easier to work with and dries faster. Also, I recommend visiting the paint store and meeting with Kristi. She's artsy, hip and terrific with color. She can help answer any questions. I recently found out a friend from work also hired Albert's painting and was so pleased with the results on her job, too.

From the start, I was immensley pleased with Alberts customer service. Brian came out within days of my initial call to provide a cost estimate. He provided a very detailed work plan, explained each piece of the work effort, cost & benefit. They were very upfront with providing insurance contacts & references. I was a little nervous about how the job would go, as we've never had such a large job done before. But Carlos, the crew leader, was exceptional. He is very determined to have 100% customer satisfaction, & often went above & beyond to make sure he got it. He thoroughly spot checked his employees work every day & had them redo it if he wasn't 100% satisfied with the results. Carlos was meticulous, & for that, I am very grateful. We had not one problem with the crew, the job, the clean up or the results. The whole crew did a fantastic job, & were a very respectful group. They also were mindful of my newborn's schedule during their work day. I would definitely hire them again.

They were excellent, timely, affordable and very clean.

The crew they sent was polite & pleasant but seemed to be careless with our project. Their estimate was left without, details & the painters arrived weren't exactly sure where to start or what they were there to do. They left several things for us to clean up when they were finished. I was disappointed with the quality of the work especially with the pressure washing. The shutters & porch are still dirty. We found drywall dust in several places,paint splatters on the walls,TV & nightstand after they left. I talked to a couple people in the company including the owner that acted like none of this was a big deal. They did send someone out the next day to fix things but the work he did still wasn't to our satisfaction. At that point I was so frustrated with their work & the way they handled my complaint I decided to do the rest myself. I was very disappointed with this company & their management. Lesson learned I'll be getting EVERYTHING in a detailed written estimate from this point on.

The process went very smoothly. Martin and his team were incredible to work with. They were always punctual, courteous and made certain I was pleased with their work throughout the process, and they left the house neat and tidy at the end of each work day. They actually finished the job earlier than expected as they worked tirelessly the entire time. Martin gave me a day at the end of the job to inspect their work and came back a day later to touch up. He made this project a lot less stressful than I thought it would be!

It went great! It took exactly one week, just like Albert said it would. Albert's crew, led by Alvaro, did a fantastic, meticulous job. They are very proud of their work, and they have a right to be. My house looks beautiful!

Not well. Lots of talking on the phone instead of painting.

They were prompt, and very neat. They cleaned up each night before leaving and I believe the entire house was done in a week. The workers were very courteous and considerate of the fact we still had to live there while all this work was being done. We would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Prompt in returning call for estimate, went with another firm with a lower quote for same work. They would have been our second choice.

Brian came out and gave me an estimate. He worked closely with me to accommodate my schedule. Carlos' team did the work at my house. They were absolutely wonderful. Although his team did not speak fluent English, Carlos was there frequently to communicate and assure the job was done as I wanted. I did find that although they were reluctant to try to speak English, I did not have any problem communicating what was necessary between Albert's visit. They were extremely professional and did a gorgeous job. I was getting my house ready to go on the market and so I was very particular about the job being perfect--it was!

I picked this company by using Angie's List. My contact was Brian Jambora. Brian was nice, helpful and prompt. The work started on Tuesday and they were done by Friday. The crew cleaned up their mess everyday before going home, and when the job was done nothing was left behind. I would do a walk around the house each night and send Brian an e-mail about any questions or concerns I had. He would have a replay waiting for me each morning. Any concerns or needs were always addressed. This is the first time I have had to deal with a home improvement project, so I don't have something to compare this company to. I am happy with the work overall. When the job is done you have a chance to go around and point out things you want to have fixed (touched up), and sorry to say we missed a spot or two that needed to be touched up. However, they did leave some left over paint, and I can just do it myself. My only advice is point out EVERYTHING you want painted before you hire the company.

Albert's was the fastest to respond and get a bid to me. Pricing seemed strong, but fair given the time required. We were trying to get the work done before we moved in, and Albert's met that time frame. Unfortunately, I was not there to make sure the right color was going on the walls. So, when I arrived, the paint job was nicely done, but the color was the same as original - not white. Part of this miscommunication is my responsibility; my not being there to supervise allowed this to happen. Albert's man Cecil, however, was very gracious in offering to fully repaint it white at no charge to us. We did not have the time before the moving van came, so we left it as is. Without my asking, Albert and his salesman Brian reduced the price by a third. That's smart business- situations happen, and the best companies work to straighten them out. We appreciate their integrity.

He was excellent! We're actually getting ready to hire him again.

They did a FANTASTIC job. They were punctual, polite, very tidy, and had a great attention to detail. We were VERY VERY Pleased. The price was a little on the high side but worth it. The workers spoke little English with regards to conversation, but definitely did NOT need direction or instruction as to how to do the job perfectly. We will surely use them again.
