It went very well. Albert prides himself on managing his own crew and being on the site with them. He's very concerned with details and took pains to point out all the things he was doing and the quality of his work. Maintaining his high Angie's list rating is very important to him and he wants to have happy customers.

I don't know how to say this without sounding like a ad; their work was absolutely OUTSTANDING. Their attention to detail exceeded anything that I might have expected. They treated my stuff as if it was theirs; every time they went the extra mile and never ever took a short cut. I was so impressed with their work ethic that after the first day, I didn't even look at what they were doing. After the initial meeting with me and the first day to get things started, the owner, Albert would drop by maybe several times each day to check around and always asked me if I was pleased. Albert is obviously very proud of his work and you can clearly see that his attitude has permeated throughout his staff. The truth is that I have never been so comfortable and confident in any contractors as I was with this crew; I would use them again and give that same recommendation to anyone looking for this type service.

Albert and his crew were true professionals. He worked with me to get the job done quickly and correctly. When my wife and I realized we didn't like the color we had selected for the shakes, he was very prompt at scheduling his crew to come out and paint with a new color. I couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend Albert and his crew to anyone.

Paint job went beautifully. We had not had these rooms painted for 15+ years. There was a lot of sanding and patching required. Albert also throw in the repair of the exterior woodwork around our front door. This was peeling even though the paint job was less than 2 years old (that job was not done by Albert's team). I am very pleased. The crew was very thoughtful and thorough.

Received 3 quotes from Angies List companies. Albert was lowest. Quoted on the spot. 1 company took a couple days was much higher, the other company forgot to respond with quote for over a week and was much higher. Albert explained everything he would do during visit to the house. He was there every day to supervise and check on progress of crew. He let us choose the paint to use, offered 3 recommendations for top of the line brands with good 3rd party reviews. Very patient while we were choosing colors. His crew worked hard every day. Albert actually participates in doing some of the work as opposed to just supervising. Very service oriented, discussed when to come back for pressure washing and to make sure we call if we see any issues.

Absolutely amazing service. Albert was wonderful. He gave me a quote that was significantly less than the competing quotes. I hired him to paint the interior walls, but not the ceilings or trim. He not only did the walls, he touched up the trim throughout the house. He also fixed several cracks and nails that were popping through on the ceiling and touched up those areas as well. He even got the original paint that was in the house and touched up inside the closets, which we were not having painted. He also told me that if the movers make any marks on the wall after we move in, to give him a call and he will come back and touch up for free. He also pressure washed the entire exterior of the house, including the deck, and cleaned out the gutters. I didn't ask him to, but he also pressure washed our driveway and sidewalk. The house looks spotless. He was timely and very professional. I gave him a key to the empty house on Thursday night. When I walked in Monday morning, it was completely done. He told me it would be, but based on prior experience with painters, I didn't really expect it to be completely finished. But it was. They did a great job, on time, for a great price. I would absolutely 100% recommend Albert's Painting for your painting and pressure washing needs.

Called Albert and he came to do an estimate the same day. He gave me a great price and from the reviews I thought that I was getting a great deal. Finished the job in a day and a half and it looks great.

ALbert's is very good and did a very good job. They offer a 5 year warranty on the painting. Since then they have come out and power-washed the house and did touch up painting. The only complaint I have is that they could have done a little bit better job on the clean up portion of the job.

Albert came to my house on a Saturday, we walked around each room where we talked through the job in detail. He has a very good attention to detail and spotted several areas that needed to be repaired that I hadn't even noticed before. By Wednesday morning he and his crew were hard at work. They covered the wood floors and spent the better part of a day prepping the house. They moved furniture, patched drywall, taped off trim areas, etc. to protect the house. Albert found a problem with the outside of my house where water had come in during a very bad storm and has his crew run out to the home center and get the proper caulk to fix it - without charging anything additional. The team worked for four solid days and when they were done, the house was cleaned up and the house looks better that it does when it was new. I would highly recommend Albert and plan on not using anyone else in the future.

This was a great group to work with, very friendly and polite and they got the job finished 2 days ahead of schedule. Albert and his brother have excellent communication skills, taking time to explain the work in progress and show us various things we needed to know. They threw in extras along the way (like cleaning up the wood trim). We'll definitely contact them again when it's time to paint the exterior.

Very well. The rare occasion I did not agree with something they were doing they listened and corrected the situation to my liking. They started on time and finished on time. No money was exchanged until all the work was done to my satisfaction. They were a very hard working crew and Albert the owner was verry accessable.

We gathered 4 quotes from painting contractors that were all "A" rated in Angies List. The quotes were similiar - separated by $500 top to bottom. Brian, Albert's estimator, was very knowledgeable in stains and paints as well as identifying rotted wood repairs that were needed. We selected Albert's painting because it appeared from reviews that Albert had significant carpentry experience and we had a major rotten wood problem. What a brilliant decision. Albert uncovered and replaced more rotten wood than we were were aware of and did not try to nickel/dime us with increased fees. Albert had a 7 person crew on site for 3 long days doing prep work - wood replacement, scraping, pressure washing, caulking. Albert was on site except for when Albert went to obtain supplies. Albert's crew replaced significantly more siding and wood than we anticipated or than was specified in Brian's estimate (which was detailed). One of my concerns was a small section (4x6 feet) of rotten roof that was at a roof overhang and screened in porch. The problem was worse than we thought, but Albert's crew did a great job in removing, rebuilding, and re-shingling the roof problem. Albert pointed out and explained each material item used - cleaning solutions, caulking materials, roofing, etc. It is amazing how much 7 people who know what they are doing can get done in 3 days of prep work. After the 3 days of prep work, Albert had a 10 person crew staining and painting for 2 days. The large crew got a lot done before rain a week later. New cedar siding and some scrapped areas were primed. Stain was had brushed in. 3 deck areas were stained with a deck stain. One deck area was stained by a person on a ladder in Lake Wylie (we are on a cove off Cataba River - Lake Wylie). Albert's crew did clean-up both daily (lots of scrap rotten wood to dispose of) and with a magnet at the end to pick up stray nails. In summary, our house and decks look brand new. Considering the significant cedar siding replacement, it is like a new home. We are extremely happy with the quality of Albert's work and would highly recommend Albert's Painting.

Albert and his crew of three arrived at the time they stated they would be at our home. They repaired and prepped our paneling before painting. They are hard workers and did an excellant job. This was a small job by their standards but it made no difference to them. They moved all the heavy furniture, cleaned up when they were finished and moved the furniture back where it orginally was. It was nice to work with someone who cares about his work. Albert is proud of his work, as he should be. I would recommend him to my friends.

Albert's "front man" visited and went over with me in great detail what we wanted done; he asked intelligent questions that helped me define the work for him, and paid attention to what I wanted. The quote we got, while it seemed like a lot, was much lower than the other quote we received (one company never got back to us at all), and spelled out in detail exactly how much each part of the project would cost. Work was started almost immediately after we told them we wanted them to do it, and was done just as we had requested. We had an unusual request for the siding, and they managed to find just what we wanted. I changed my mind about the color of some of the woodwork, and there was no trouble about accommodating that. The pressure washing was done on Friday, and the work began Monday and took four days. The crew worked hard (especially considering it was very hot!) and put in long hours to get the work done?and did a great job! Although the crew was all native Spanish speakers, there was always someone on site who spoke English, so I had no trouble communicating even though I have almost no Spanish. The wood was properly painted on all sides, and installed quickly and efficiently (it was so much fun watching it happen!). My only complaint would be that after they had finished, I had to remind them to replace the cable wires that went around the outside of the porch, and the guy who did it used nails right through the wire! I had to call the cable company out to fix it. Otherwise, I'd say they did an excellent job. I also like their five-year guarantee.

We gathered quite a few quotes. Though this company was not the lowest (or the highest), we were impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the people we interacted with as well as the detailed steps that were outlined to properly fix the exterior of our house. Two full days were spent replacing siding and wood on our house. The workers came early and remained busy throughout the day. They were friendly and professional. Painting the exterior took another 2 days. They handbrushed both the siding and the trim. Once all of that was complete, the windows and driveway were cleaned. It took 3 workers about 30 minutes to stain the surface of our deck (no railings--per our request). Finally, they cleaned the yard and touched up one area on the house that I had a question about. A week later, we had a small patch of paint start to bubble. The owner responded very quickly and had someone out to fix it the next day. We have had no other issues. The house looks great!

Called before each step (quote > final inspection). Arrived on time each day, did great work for each task, cleaned-up completely. The crew was excellent and friendly. I will use them every time in the future.

We have used a number of different companies from Angies List over the years with generally good results for the most part. " Albert's" would definitely be at the top of the list. They were just great in every respect, from Brian the estimator to Albert and every member of the crew. Everyone was friendly, responsive and more importantly extremely competent in all of the tasks described above. Albert put in a 5-6 person crew who worked hard and well together. They cleaned up exceptionally well each day which was no small feat considering the amount of dust generated by the removal tasks. All of the activities were performed expertly and we were extremely pleased with the result. We will definitely call them again.

I contacted Albert's painting in May to get an estimate on repairing and painting all the wood on the exterior of my home. Bryan came out to do the estimate within a day of my call. He was very prompt and thorough with the estimate and walked me through the costs in detail. He also emphasized checking on their insurance policy as other company's listed on Angie's List say they have insurance, but do not (so beware!). I decided to use Albert's as they worked with me to customize my services; other estimates I received kept pushing additional costs or "swapping" services instead of removing items I did not want. Albert's then started about a month after I booked them. They had a large crew who worked on my house for 3 days to get all the exterior trim pressure washed, repaired and prepped, and finally painted. In addition, they pressure washed all my concrete around the house and trimmed some branches on trees for me at no additional cost! They were very amendable to helping me make the exterior of my home look updated and had no problem going out of their way to do it perfect! The only thing to be aware of is that they expect payment onsite on their final day. If you have a larger job or more expensive job, be prepared to have the check ready! Overall, they were wonderful! I will definitely hire them again for future work!

Albert is the best! Love the guy and just met him yesterday! I was in a real bind and needed almost all my walls painted quickly in a very nice home that I'm renting. I called a couple and painters from Angie's list and Albert was the first one to call me back. After we talked he met me out at the house within a few hours, gave me an estimate and said he would start that afternoon and he did. He had 6 painters out at the house until midnight getting it painted. I couldn't believe my eyes the next morning when I walked in! The entire job was DONE! It looks so GOOD! Albert came buy to check out the work, I paid him and now he's coming to my home tomorrow to give me an estimate to paint again. He is now first on my list to call for services that he offers. Albert is such a nice man, pleasant to work with, and very professional. This guy is priceless! A real keeper!

Everything went great from start to finish. We called for an estimate and Brian came out the next day. He was very professional and detailed and gave us an estimate within the hour. When we decided on this company we requested a certain week and it was available for them to do the work. Albert and his employees arrived on time and reviewed everything with us. They began on Monday and did last minute touch ups on Wednesday. Quality work and quality employees. The workers were very polite and on occassion would ask how we thought things were looking and if we had any concerns. Very impressed with these employees. There was a problem trying to match the stain for the base boards to the stain on our trim work which was very old but Albert worked with us until we agreed on a stain that we thought was close enough. We are very pleased and will use this company again.

Albert and his team are the best! They fixed all of the problems that the builder left on the drywall and continued to fix areas that they noticed as they were working (things we didn't even have to point out to them). They are very proactive and do the job right without any supervision. They even fixed the horrible trim that the builders left in horrible condition (the builder did a sloppy installation) and didn't even charge us any extra for that. This is the team that has it all. They won't just come in and paint over bad drywall and patch jobs. They fix and then paint. They are just wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were punctual, courteous, informative, and did the job right from start to finish. They were also very good about keeping us informed and up-to-date on the status of the job.

From the moment I called to schedule the appointment for an estimate they were very personable and professional. Brian came out and met with me. Asked several questions to get a better understanding for the work that was to be completed. Brian ensured that I understood the estimate that was presented and urged me to perform background checks on them, and encouraged me to ask as many questions as possible even if it was after the initial visit. After receiving several other estimates, based on the feeling I had during that estimate meeting with Brian is the reason we decided to go with Albert's Painting. When their schedule had them finish another project sooner they called to ask if they could start early on our house. They started on time and blew me away at how quickly, efficiently and precise their work was. There was very little mess left after each day. They made every effort to not disturb the plantings, flowers and shrubs in, on and around the house. We are so impressed with the final product. Albert was on site throughout the project and was available to answer any questions that would have come up. Have no problem recommending them for future work for us or our neighbors.
