I normally don't do reviews, but had to make an exception for Air Today. When my air conditioner stopped working, they arrived quickly and promptly. The sales person who came out was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem with my system very quickly. Then, they were able to send out technicians to repair my unit and stabilize all of my ductwork under the house. All the people from Air Today are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They all had a good attitude and professional appearance. I ended up setting up a yearly service contract with them so that I would not have anymore unexpected problems with my HVAC system. I would recommend anyone to call them today if they have any problems with their heating or air-conditioning.

Air Today?s comfort consultant, Kirk, was easy to scheduled, punctual and listened carefully to what I was looking for in a new HVAC system. After his first quote I had contact with him several times via email and phone and he was always responsive to my questions and gave me valuable additional information. I also requested an additional quote for a higher grade system for better comparison to the other four bidding HVAC contractors. In the end his system from the manufacturer Rheem was technically the best fit for my house and Kirk?s price was competitive. Scheduling the appointment for the installation was easy, too. The installation took two days. I had emphasized to Kirk and the crew leader Don, that I was concerned about the white carpet on my stairs and in the hallway and bedroom. They covered all areas with drop cloth and throughout the two days the crew was extremely careful with my flooring. After the first day Don even whipped down the vinyl in the master bathroom that they had to pass to get to the attic. I was informed about the progress of work routinely. Don turned out to be very experienced and explained several technical details that I asked about during the installation and the final walk through to my full satisfaction. He could give good tips how to use the new comfort features of the HVAC most effectively and how to find my way through the menus on the new, fancy touchscreen thermostats. Before they left the crew cleaned up well and my white carpet remained in perfect condition. I am very pleased with the overall result of Air Today?s work.

The price was for two systems. They are honest, local and very friendly. The price was average.

Up until several weeks ago, we had tried for many weeks to get an explanation of a and quot;bulkand quot; $1,550 quote to replace a plenum duct on our downstairs air handler unit from Air Today in Charlotte, NC. The work was to be performed at our Mooresville, NC lake home. As some background, Air Today had been servicing our Charlotte and Mooresville homes for some time and we had found their service people to be prompt and courteous in the past. This situation however has painted the company itself in a different light and we will not do business with them again. The quote received for this work was after an installer's inspection but the installer specifically noted at the time of the inspection that the three (3) existing supply runs may not need to be replaced at all. So, being an organized number person, we sent a written request for a detailed estimate so to receive the cost of each component for the installation (in case the supply runs would not be necessary). The initial response was that Air Today and quot;does not break down costs that way - the price is as a wholeand quot;. Apparently Air Today will not provide their customers with the information needed to make an informed decision or to track materials and costs necessary - this seemed odd so pressed on. In subsequent written exchanges we received some minimal additional information that the cost of the plenum duct was $375 and the cost of each supply run was $195. Some notes along with the messages included that they were quoting labor and tax included. We of course thanked the company representative(s) for the additional information but since these numbers did not add up (recalling the total estimate of $1,550), we inquired again about what might be missing. Some time later we received a more detailed list and itemized estimate totaling $2,135 - also including a $575 charge for a and quot;helperand quot;. When we asked for an explanation, the comment back to us stated and quot;this is something you will pay for unless you want to pay for each and everything it takes to do the joband quot;. So, Air Today basically said to us that if we questioned their prices and make them explain their quote in detail, they would be charging us additional fees. At this point, we told the company in writing we could not do business this way and requested refunds. We have not received our refunds to date. RESOLUTION: Air Today installed a useless air cleaner (scrubber) on our downstairs air handler unit (into the plenum duct) at our Mooresville, NC lake home (cost $595.00). In addition, the company owes us for service contracts that have been paid in advance (cost $537). We expect a full refund. The air scrubber may be uninstalled at the company's convenience however the duct must be left in a condition similar to that prior to the scrubber's installation.

They have been absolutely marvelous for us! The personnel are very friendly. They do good work. They come when you need them. If I ever have a problem they come right out. We have been using them for about 4 years. I have a contract with them for around $200 a year. They are worth every penny. They do excellent work and they maintain our system really well. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Hal did a great job helping me select the appropriate equipment and install options to get the greatest bang for my buck. I contacted several reputable HVAC companies to bid out the work, and I was most impressed with Hal and Air Today. Hal was patient answering all of my questions, and my research confirmed his advice. The install went fairly smooth and the team worked hard over a few days to complete the install. I've now had the unit and system working for several months and it is great. Even when we had several weeks in a row in July pushing 100 degrees, the house was incredibly cool and the system was cycling on and off at that!

I have a home warranty through 2-10, and have not had the best experience with their providers the first time the AC system failed in June. When the temperature started climbing last weekend I worked with 2-10 to get someone out quickly as I have a 96 year old family memebr who cannot breathe if the temperature goes much above 75 in the house. Air Today responded quickly, came out, did a thorough diagnosis, confirmed what the other company I had to hire in June said concerning replacing the coil, ordered it, and got back out to finish the repair quickly. Brian the tech was absolutely great, punctual, thorough, polite and hard working. Denise jumped all over ordering the part we needed, and when 2-10 said they were out of stock Denise was able to get them to authorize Air Today to use one of theirs, despite the higher price. All around, a really great effort!

Air Today did an excellent job all the way around. From my initial call and questions with the receptionist all the way through dealing with my home warranty company. I could not be more pleased with Air Today: I dealt with 5 different techs on three different days and each and every one of them cared about me as the customer and about doing an excellent job. The install techs took great care with my personal property such as carpet, etc. All the techs were patient and more than willing to thoroughly answer all of my questions. Will definitely use again in the future!

We have a maintenance contract on our Air Conditioner unit with Bob's Heating and Air. I recently had an attic fan installed and wanted Bob's to check the placement of the unit and ensure it was working properly as well as check my air filters in the central air system. The receptionist told me of the $69.00 fee and I was prepared. The technician was prompt and very courteous, removing his shoes outside before coming in to check the unit. He reported excellent placement of the attic fan and recommended specific filters to change in my air ducts. There was no work performed on this visit and I paid the maintenance fee for the peace of mind that the system was working correctly.

He has come out about 3 times and he has been on time. He knows what he is talking about and does loads of calculations that each company should do, but don’t do. His name was Harold Hallson and he is good. He is an advisor, but I can call him anytime I have a question or concern and he will explain it to me and break it down. I called him during lunch time one day and he said he would call me back within an hour and he did. I like that he was always on time.

Arrived when scheduled and tested the AC system. Would use again.

They are really good. I think they have changed their name over the past year or two. We use them on a contract basis like twice a year. They have a professional attitude and they provide good service.

I obtained three quotes. Prices varied by 50% with Air Today being competitive. I eventually bought a high efficeincy rated system that qualified for the federal tax rebate. Barry Black of Air Today provided information and quotes that were accurate and truthful in every aspect. He generated several proposal options until we had one that met our needs and presented a good value. The crew was professional, showed up on time, finished the work on time, were very neat, and generally exceeded my expectations in every area.

They just did what they said they were going to do. They actually did a little extra work to make the installation right. The pan underneath the unit was rusting and had a leak. They replaced that for $100. I thought I would have to spend $500.

My experience has been fine. Their price seems fair. Everything is good. I really have no complaints. I would recommend them to others and use them again in the future.

THIS WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THEY WERE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, AND WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. THEIR PRICE WAS $500 LESS THAN MY OTHER TWO ESTIMATES. AMAZING! I WILL USE THEM FOR ALL MY HEATING AND AIR NEEDS IN THE FUTURE. WONDERFUL COMPANY.

THEIR ESTIMATE WAS $1500 LOWER THAN COMPETITION. THEY DID WORK ON SATURDAY, BEFORE MEMORIAL DAY, AT NO EXTRA COST SO THAT I WOULD NOT BE WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING. TEMPORARILY CHARGED OUTSIDE UNIT TO COOL UNTIL WORK COULD BE DONE.

HE WILL REPAIR THE UNIT INSTEAD OF SELLING YOU A NEW ONE. HE HAS BEEN HERE ON THREE DIFFERENT VISITS.

A LITTLE SLOW GETTING HERE BUT DID GOOD WORK, HAD TO WAIT FOR THE PARTS, THEY WERE MOVING THEIR OFFICE AT THE TIME. HAVE USED THEM IN THE PAST AS WELL and THEY WERE GOOD THEN.

DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB, CAME OUT THE SAME DAY WE CALLED.
