Great job of installation. Team was courteous, clean and respectful of our home. All windows installed perfectly.

The price was good but it came down to the product wasn't all that i wanted.

They didn't put forth a good effort at all. They were unresponsive as well.

The job went very well, from having the initial estimate to having the actual window work. They were prompt and courteous. The price was reasonable.

The work was performed in two days, all of the crew was polite and professional. The roof looks great and we now have an upgraded roof (20 year Architectural shingles). We are very happy and have already recommended Affordable Siding & Windows to family friends in need of a new roof.

The windows were installed in a timely manner. They came back on numerous times to fix leaks. One time I had made repeated phone calls for the same issue and it took better than three months for them to send someone out. I also made a report with the BBB because of a leak, I got a quick response then. The windows are ok. The craftsmanship on how they were installed is not that great. If they find a leak there answer is just to add more caulk. There response time to fix things gets worse over time. They are more of a head ache then they are worth. The salesman got a little on the pushy side when we were not sure if we wanted to spend the amount he presented. He stated the price was only good for that day. Price could change depending on the price of petroleum because that is what the vinyl is made from. I would not recommended them to anyone.

Very disappointed. There is damage to the walls around some of the new windows. When I open both front windows the top sash falls down slightly, so to lock it up again you have to reach up, push up top window, then lock. My kitchen window is no better than the single pane, 25 year old window that was replaced. There is so much cold air coming through the panes...no way it can have any argon gas, etc between the panes. Cold air comes in from the area between top and bottom pane and from the panes themselves. I contacted company 2 weeks ago and they said they would have someone call me back. No response. I called again early this morning, no response. Not happy.

We had our roof replaced by Affordable Siding and Windows. They went above and beyond to make sure they did a good job and we were satisfied. We really liked the fact that they are a family run business. We would definitely use them again and have recommended them to our friends and neighbors.

Things went well from start to finish. As an example of going the extra mile, we took the shutters down and painted them prior to the install since they would have to be moved. They searched for the closest color match of the installation screws/plugs so that they would match and we wouldn't have to touch them up with paint after the install.

I found them on the Angies List website. They were professional and punctual. I think that their price was a little on the higher side.

Affordable's estimate came in at thousands less than another local company, but their warranty and quality were exactly the same if not better. Our home was mess-free with brand new, sparkling windows, when I returned from work at 6 p.m. We couldn't be happier. We appreciated the energy-efficiency in the winter and now we love the ease of opening them now that spring is nearly here.

They were timely with their estimate. They got it to me when I requested it. Their price was a little higher than the company we chose to go with.

It was great, they were great and we liked them. They were very nice, we've used them twice.

We had a very positive experience using Affordable and would recommend them to anyone. They come out to do an initial estimate and show you a sample of the window, then run the estimate. Once we decided to go with them they scheduled our installation date. They showed up on time and worked straight through until the job was done.

I called for an estimate to fix my roof, not replace it. They were very nice, however they never responded to an email with information they requested. I never received a quote. They just seemed to not be interested. I guess they didn't need the job.

The first thing Rich Caldwell did was tell us that, by the look of the outside of our house, he didn't expect it to be so nice inside. Then he insulted Angie's List, the founders and their advertising practices. He insulted one couple in particular who wrote an unflattering review saying that he couldn't believe Angie's List let people who were not his customers write a review. He basically told us that it's all a "scam." The review to which he constantly referred stated that Rich forced these people to make a decision on the spot. Rich admits doing so and said it was because he had spent too much time with them. All of this was unsolicited. All we did was answer his question about where we found his company. He then continued to bash Angie's List and tried to explain how the company started and how they try to appeal to women. His explanation was that men think they're the ones who make decisions about home repair, but women actually do. He then turned to my husband and said, "But it's your money." Ha ha ha ha. What is this, 1960? When we asked for specific accusations regarding Angie's List, he became flustered and couldn't answer our questions. He insulted the brand of siding we had already chosen and said that anyone could sell the stuff. He repeatedly used the phrase, "No offense" to make all these insults "okay." He then added that vinyl (our choice product) isn't as "high end" as other siding ("No offense"). He did give us an estimate for the vinyl, yet went out to his truck and brought in samples of something completely different; therefore, he gave us an estimate on something he didn't plan on showing us. He offered to go out to the truck to get samples, but we declined. We were already done with him. He showed us his very high estimate and at that point, asked if it's something we were interested in? We were totally honest and told him we were insulted and confused by his attitude. He reacted poorly and said he shouldn't even have come tonight. At that point, we showed him the door. What a horrible experience and a total waste of time. There must be better options out there.

Richard came to give me an estimate. I liked the product and the price, so I signed a contract. Two days later, Ken came and measured all the windows. Two weeks later, they were here to install the windows. It took four days (it would have been three, but it rained one day). The windows look great, they replaced a LOT of rotten wood, and put the aluminum/vinyl coating on the exterior wood (sill and brick mold) so that I will never have to paint again. The windows are double glass, argon-filled, double-strength windows with grids (all except the picture window). I am very happy with this purchase, and I expect to start saving on my energy bills soon.

Richard Sullivan came out to give us a quote -- which was right on target. They were able to start work within our time frame (and even ended up being able to start a few days early), and the employees did high-quality work on the installation. They worked quickly and were able to finish the job when they said they would. Richard was extremely communicative throughout the process, and when one minor issue came up, he addressed it immediately as promised. We were extremely pleased with the job they did, and would not hesitate to use them again. It was refreshing to have a no-hassle experience with a company who simply did their job and did it well, all with a professional attitude. And the house looks great!

Richard, owner, showed up for the estimate and was very courteous and friendly. I made it clear up front that we were getting multiple estimates and would decide what we were doing after all quotes were in. Richard walked the house and worked up an estimate then proceeded with a high pressure sales pitch of "This price is only good for today and if I have to come back it'll be ALOT more expensive." I asked him how long he would hold the price for and he said till the next day at 0900. We then discussed other estimates for windows and doors. He offered to come back that evening to show us door samples. When he came back we discussed doors and prices and then I told him we would think it over and get back to him. At this point, he became RUDE and ARROGANT. He explained that if we did not accept his offer then and there, that he did not want us to bother calling him again. HE DID NOT WANT OUR BUSINESS IF WE DID NOT SIGN ON THE SPOT.

Their workmanship was excellent. When the mirror on our car hit a piece of siding, it put a dent in it. They came back without a charge to fix it. I was very happy.

Richard Sullivan was great; no cheesy sales pitch, and he just did great work at a good price. Very dependable and professional.

I used Affordable based on a recommendation from a neighbor who had replaced their windows. I intended to do the same but used the door replacement was a trial for them. I did not get other competitive bids and that was mistake. When I did some checking after the fact, their price was probably more than double what it should have been. I did some checking because the job took far less labor than Richard had said in his sales pitch. The work was done excellently by Ken, though it was started later than committed. Overall I am happy with the installation but felt burned by the price and would not use them again. They are the reason I joined Angie's list.

WE ACTUALLY HAD THESE WINDOWS INSTALLED 2 1/2 YEARS AGO AND ARE STILL QUITE HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY, ENERGY EFFICIENCY, AND LOOK, PARTICULARLY OF THE BAY WINDOW. ONE CAVEAT: THE SALESPERSON TOLD US THE WINDOWS WERE INSURED BY OWENS-CORNING (MANUFACTURER); THIS IS NOT THE CASE. THEY DO CARRY A LIFETIME WARRANTY FROM AFFORDABLE.

THEIR INSTALLER, KEN, DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB WITH A BIG BOW WINDOW. HE AND HIS GUYS WERE VERY PLEASANT THROUGHOUT THE JOB AND ALWAYS PROMPT. WINDOWS ARE BEAUTIFUL & WARRANTY CAN'T BE BEAT.
