We are often disappointed with providers. Something is usually off what was promised. So, we were so delighted that the outcome is that we feel like we have a whole, brand new, beautiful guest full bathroom. Led by project and paint quality and color advice by admiring painting services, from the start with a reasonable estimate through completion they really were able to complete everything in a timely basis -- as promised. We also feel that the work was expertly done. Also important to us, there were with no hassles nor mess made during our encounters with the provider. Also, they really were able to accomplish the work at an affordable price compared with other vendors. We will definitely feel confident in utilizing Admiring Painting services in the future. And would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family.

If there was a ranking higher then "A" they would get it. I have used Angie's List for several years and have used many of the contractors . Some have been really good and some just OK. This company far exceeded any expectation I had. They kept in constant contact with me on updates. There was several rainy days and they would go and check the fence to make sure it was dry enough to paint. A lot of the time it was not to their standard and would let me know they were going to wait another day or so to make sure that it was dry enough for painting. The finished project was perfect. My fence looks like brand new and after close examination I can tell you that I did not see anything that was not right. In today's world it is refreshing to find a company that takes their work as seriously as this one. I would not hesitate to use them for any and all painting needs I have. The actual owner, not a representative, came to our home and gave us a quote. His quote was very competitive especially with the discount he offered for senior citizens. After comparing quotes and general feel of the people we talked with, we called him back and said he had the job if he wanted it. We were impressed by his honesty about the different quality of paints, the pluses and minuses of each, and his openness about our questions and concerns. He was delayed starting the job by one day due to delays caused by the weather (nearly a solid week of rain) but called us several days in advance to talk with us about it and to apologize. The plan was for him to start on Friday and complete our family room and trim. He showed up with 3 other workers and I retired to the other side of the house with our dogs. When I checked later, not only had they completed the family room but moved the furniture and finished the dining room, kitchen and all of the doors, windows and trim. They filled all the nail holes in the walls, repaired any places on the walls that needed it (damage caused by our children), removed all wall electrical covers, light switch covers and moved all furniture as needed. By the end of the first day they had painted, fixed holes and completed the trim work for the majority of the job. They had covered everything in plastic, so no paint or dust from sanding would leave a mess on anything. When I came out they were on their hands and knees moping my floors, even though I did not see any paint smears or drops on the floors. My home was left clean and neat by the painters on the first day and as far as I could tell it was looking like a well done paint job. Since it was Friday, the owner told me they would be back around 8 or 9am on Monday to work on the rest of the area that we wanted painted. When arriving on Monday, around 8:30am, it was only 2 people that showed up and one of them was the owner. He told me that he would probably have to come back the next day because he did not think that they could finish because of having to paint around so many little things in the laundry room. (Three days was his original estimate and this was just his second day anyway). He was able to not only finish the entire job on this day, a day early, but also went back and touched up a few things ?he? was not happy with things we didn?t even notice. In two days they painted 3 large rooms with extremely high vaulted ceilings, 2 small rooms, 2 small hallways, a stair well and a utility room. They did an excellent job and worked constantly throughout the day, except for an hour lunch break. I had no mess to clean up what so ever when they were finished. They also gave me the leftover paint, which was almost a full gallon, and brought an additional gallon that we had requested for touch-ups, as needed due to our dogs and children. This painting company went above and beyond and it is like I have a new house. The company is excellent and did exactly what they said and more. I would highly recommend Admiring Painting Services to everyone.

The contractor showed up as scheduled. However the work that was done, I was not happy with. There was paint on the woodwork and they ran out of primer and had to stretch the primer with what they had left over from another job in order to finish the job. The garage had quite a bit of over spray as well and after caulking the hardy board they discarded the empty tubes where they stood and did not pick up after themselves.

I had an entire basement to sub out and I was looking at them to take care of my drywall and painting side of things. My first appointment was cancelled an hour before the rep was to show up. We rescheduled the meeting as soon as they were available, which was a few days later. For a 6:00pm meeting on Monday afternoon I received a email at 6:05 to say that they needed to cancel and wanted to reschedule. Their email included that they tried to call but were unable to contact me at the number provided. However this is the same number they called to cancel before and it worked just find. No voicemail or callback message was left anywhere. Not overly mad, just upset that because of unprofessional communication, my project is being pushed back a couple more weeks.

Will not hire again, very unprofessional and took an extra day to complete because they had other clients. Was going to show up at 4 pm to finish painting and go into night when they were supposed to be at my house at 8 am when I called to find out where they were I received an answer of I am on my way to another clients house and will be there after. They were late everyday and even on the day to get a quote was late and didn't even call to let me know but instead lied and said I called you twice you didn't pick up and that was after i left a message for them. NO communication, did not use paint that was quoted. Paint job could be better there are areas that do not have enough paint, nail holes not filled A lot more to say but I will just point out the obvious. Should have gone with my gut and not hired but I figured I would give them a chance.

I made two separate appointments for an estimate for some exterior painting. In both cases, there was no show and no call. I called back after the first time, giving benefit of the doubt. We're all human, and anyone can forget an appointment once, even though I was little annoyed that there had been no call-back to explain or re-schedule. I was very disappointed when it happened a second time, This company has a good reputation on Angie's List...perhaps they have too many projects going at present? . A polite decline of my business would have been understood, but I feel that this was disrespectful.

We asked for a quote for painting services. We agreed to meet at the house on August 7th, to look over the rooms which needed work. After taking a day off from work and 2 hours before we were to meet, I was called and told Oscar would have to cancel. I was disappointed since I took a day off, but still communicated the measurements of the rooms and a quote was submitted to me that day. The quote was so low I had to question if it was right. I asked them to include the cost of paint and the cost of painting the ceilings since that was not included on the original quote. The price was still so low, I couldn't trust the price. I requested they come and see the house to get a better idea as I didn't want to get hit with extra costs after the fact. 3 days later I received a response that they can come see the house 3 days from that point. At that point, I informed them I would not require their services.

They were punctual, came in, got started immediately. Worked hard all day, no goofing around, very professional. If they had questions, they weren't shy about asking them.

I called Oscar a week back and he came out and gave me an estimate. We asked him questions regarding accent colors and his suggestions were of great value. He and his team( about 4-5) came out punctually at 8 AM Fri and started their work. Initially he had said it will be done by Friday itself, but there was one room and some touch ups remaining that they came back on Sat and completed. They cleaned up everything and rooms looked great. My wife and me are very happy we chose Admiring Paintings.

Oscar showed up on time and performed the work within the estimated time. It took 3 full days. Quality of work was good, and they cleaned up the site well. No issues.

The service was exceptional. There were many mistakes, all of them on our part, not Admiring Painting. The first color I chose for the exterior did not come out as I expected. Oscar was extremely understanding and worked with me on choosing another color. They had already painted the entire house with the first coat, by the time I arrived home from work. He also, at no extra charge, painted my shutters and power-washed my side walk and drive way. Just the change in color delayed the completion date. The subsequent color was lighter than the first and required 2 more coats of paint. He was very reasonable on the extra expenses incurred by this. On the ceiling, I was not clear that I wanted the entire ceiling painted and I was not aware that my husband wanted another issue resolved. This was not discussed or included in the quote. This also meant a delay in completion of the ceiling. Again, Oscar was more than understanding, not only on the extra time required to finish the job, but the extra expense. These issues were entirely mine and my husbands fault. Oscar could not have been any more understanding or accommodating. He was totally professional and easy to work with.

Overall, the experience with Admiring Painting Services was excellent. They did a fantastic job painting and the end product looked incredibly sharp and professionally done. I purchased their Angie's list deal for 8 hours of painting (or 4 hours with two painters) and was able to work with them on scheduling a date/time. Oscar/Carlos showed up exactly on time and ready to begin their work. I wasn't surprised to find out that I underestimated the job and that they could not complete the entire job in only 4 hours. The property has a 2 story ceiling in one room and had many blinds to remove prior to paining, etc. Oscar and I were able to reach an acceptable price for the additional work. The most important thing was that they could complete this job immediately...this was extremely important as I was turning over a rental property and needed to have everything done ASAP. Admiring Painters did a great job communicating with me once the job had begun and letting me know how things were progressing. This was very important as it gave me a good idea on how to time everything else that needed to be done to turn the property. In the end, they did an exceptional job and the new paint looked fantastic. The only area where they weren't A+ would be establishing first contact. They were able to get in touch with me but it did take a week or so to nail down the date where they could provide service. This wasn't a major issue as I had enough lead time, however, if this was a rush job communicating only through the Angie's list messenger may not have been the most effective way to schedule service ASAP.

After purchasing my $249 Painter for a day back in May of this year, there were lots of messages sent back and forth about job description and dates. It was hard for me to stay in touch with the company because all correspondence was through Angies List and not my personal email, so I would have to log in every time I wanted to see any feedback which ofter took a few days for a reply. After letting it go for awhile the Groupon was getting ready to expire 11/3/14 so I tried again to get into contact. Finally made connection after the Owner (Oscar) phoned me at home when I put my phone # in a reply message. I was a little concerned about the job when I realized there would be no pre-appt to check out the job. But all ended up okay when they arrived the very next day at 9:30. Carlos was the head painter that day and did a walk through with me when he arrived. He was able to start on my fireplace wall right away (since I already had that paint on hand) but I had to make 2 trips to Lowes to purchase the remaining 3 gallons of paint to complete the job. My thought was if there would have been a pre-visit all of this could have been done ahead of time with no confusion on what the job consisted of. 2 other painters accompanied Carlos and I later found out that an 8 hour day consisted of just 1 painter so really my 8 hour job was a 4 hour job for the $249. (Not so sure I saw this in the fine print) but oh well to late once they got started to change my mind, besides , they were such a great group of guys!! After about 3 hours of work they took a lunch break and then we spent another 20 minutes or so deciding on exactly what walls to finish since the fireplace wall was completed and the powder room was close to being done, at that time I still figured that I had a good 5 hours of painting to go?this is when I found out about the 1 painter vs 2 painters fee. A call into Oscar from Carlos said that they could paint my large wall for an additional $350 and have it done that day. I agreed to this and they began work again about 2. At this time is when I needed to go back to Lowes for more paint and in the meantime Oscar (the owner) arrived to help them all finish up. The final finish time and depart was approximately 6pm. Even with all the hassle and confusion on what would be done I was very impressed with the work and most of all the kindness of all the painters?Oscar, Carlos, Ainld and Christian. Very polite and very fun to hear all of them laughing and joking with each other while they worked!

I purchased a deal through Angie's List and scheduled the team to come out the next day. The crew that came to the house was fantastic. Oscar was there at the beginning of the day to walk us through the details and he then left a two man crew. They were professional, friendly, and did an excellent job. They were at our home for the entire day on Friday and completed the job. I did have a minor issue with the hourly rate but the company handled it in a fair manner. I was talking to someone through Angie's List about the hourly rate after the deal I purchased ran out and we had a miscommunication. I voiced my concern the day after the crew left and the company handled the dispute quickly and in a way I felt was fair. I would definitely recommend them for interior painting!

Oscar set the visit up in advance, honoring his special advertised price. He came for a look at what I had in mind, then we waited for the timing to align. On Friday, the crew showed up and spent the better part of the day working on areas which I specified. Oscar was out of town, but "Carlito" was the second in command. The guys were respectful and professional. They only worked in the more difficult areas I asked them to. No major issues at all either day. I only noted a few paint splatters Friday which were cleaned with no further adieu. There was a disagreement over the amount of time spent Friday. I would suggest a customer verify with the crew each day on agreed-upon arrival and departure times so to avoid any question. By the time the boss got involved, it was "my word against his". Wednesday the following week was the next and final day. This time, Oscar showed up and a fifth guy came as well. Oscar stated they would work until noon. I tallied the hours based on 5 guys working and decided that would make up for any shortage the previous day. But then Oscar ended up spending a lot of time on his phone conducting business in the driveway. Also, the "extra" guy mostly appeared to be doing some prep work, but no painting. Several times, I noticed him just watching the other guys who were actually painting. The way I figure, I was allegedly paying for 5 guys to be actively involved in painting on day #2. In reality, only 3 guys were really painting nearly the whole time. I blew it off since I was supposedly getting a 50% off deal, but in actuality, felt I had been shortchanged. I did not discuss this with Oscar, so MY FAULT, but a future customer may want to make sure expectations are completely understood. Am I asking too much to think that 40 hours is 40 hours of solid work? You be the judge. Overall, the quality of work was pretty good. I noticed a lot of bits of paint splatters which I had to point out that I think the guys should have found and cleaned before I was asked to approve of the work. They eventually were cleaned up to my satisfaction. I also see, after the fact, one or two areas where paint was not edged carefully enough, resulting in a few small areas I will have to clean up (on some ceiling crown molding). I have never hired painters before, so I have no basis for comparison. I cannot give "perfect" marks due to the fairly minor problems and time discrepancies, but who knows? Maybe these guys are the "Cream of the Crop" compared to the average painters out there. I would hire Oscar and the guys again, but I would be more forthcoming about expectations and time accounting. Live and learn.

The services were performed, and done quite well however there was a miscommunication on the pricing and additional pricing after the deal itself (additional hours needed). To remedy the situation the provider is crediting me back the cost of the deal. They have been really wonderful to deal with through the whole process and we resolved the issue quickly and easily.

Oscar did an AMAZING job. I was freaking out because they were going to push back a few days due to rain. Our house was going on the market, and we were taking pictures and video on Sunday. I needed the painting to be done before hand, so I could not wait a few more days. Oscar came to the rescue and was able to fit me in and saved me. He had a crew of 4 men for 5 hours, and they did my large living room, bonus room, and hall way wall. The paint job was gorgeous, and the men were very courteous and professional

Went very well. They were easy to work with remotely as I couldn't be there in person to coordinate and they did a fine job. Missed a couple of spots/shelf and they promptly came back to get it corrected. I would recommend them.

They showed up on time, worked quickly, and did high quality work. I would def use them again and reccomend them to anyone needing professional painting.

They arrived on time and completed the job (2 coats of paint). I purchased the deal for a painter for a day. I used a very pale color over a medium shade, so it will need a 3rd coat to complete, but I was not expecting the provider to take care of this. There was some miscommunication between the business owner, us, and the crew, but it all worked out and they did a very nice job and left the area very clean. We would use them again.
