Mr Adams came to the house to review the issue. The grout along the edge where the tile met the wall was cracked and had pieces missing. Mack looked it over and explained exactly how he was going to deal with it. We set a day and time; he was prompt and thorough and very professional, answering all my questions and explaining what he was doing throughout his work. He had advised me that it would require two visits; the first to remove the old grout and clean the area, filling the edge with new grout. The next day he returned to "finish" the edge and color it to match the rest of the floor. He cleaned and stained the wood trim where it was touching the floor. Was very impressed with his work ethic and candor. Have already called to schedule another job.

I called him looking to get work on my tile bathroom, but not sure exactly what I wanted. He was very patient, helpful, full of information. He gave additional suggestions and tricks of the trade to fix problems that were not in his realm of work to help save me money. Genuinely honest, helpful and knowledgeable. On time even in icy weather.

Mack, it seems, is a lucky man. Not only is he great at what he does, but he really likes doing it. That means that I get really good work done at a fair price. He told me up front what a good job he was going to do, and he did just that. He tediously removed all of the existing caulk. He removed the shower stall framework from the fiberglass, cleaned it, reinstalled it, and caulked only where needed.The original installers or the previous owners, caulked in several areas where they shouldn't have. This led to water being trapped in the framework and sustaining mold growth. So, not only does he do quality work, he knows his stuff. Another benefit was that he left my bathroom cleaner than when he came. That is only to say that he is very conscientious about not only the job, but your homesite as well. To me, he is a true artisan and you just will not go wrong using his services. Like most people, I am sick and hiring people to do a job, and it doesn't get done properly, price changes, or they don't show up on time. Mack came to my house twice, once for the estimate and then for the actual work. He asked me both times if I wanted a confirming phone call the day before he came. I know he gets a lot of calls, so I said that if I don't hear from you I'll know you're coming. He was right on time, both times and both with no confirming phone call. Can you tell yet that I was impressed? You honestly cannot go wrong with Mack. Quality of work, price, punctuality, and consideration of you and your home are all hallmarks of Mack Adams.

We had issues with leaking from our upstairs shower stall. Mack came out to examine our problem despite his busy schedule. He fit us in within a week's time. He tore out tile that was contributing to our issues with leaking. After having a fan on damp area for a few days, he returned to start replacing tile. He also repaired and replaced grout where needed including the entire base of the inside and outside of shower stall. He took out grout around drain and cleaned it up and replaced it so it looks much better. He repaired a small crack on a specific sized tile on threshold which we did not have a replacement for. You would have to know where it is to even spot it. He also did some touch up work on oil rubbed bronze finishes on drain and handles where they were starting to wear off. Mack is extremely professional and personable! He takes great pride in his work and it shows. He did an outstanding job in a timely manner!

Mack repaired some cracked grout and 3 cracked thresholds. He did this in record time and for a great price. I would recommend Mack to anyone that needs tile work. He does great work for a great price and very courteous.

Mack called us about doing the work about two weeks earlier than his projected service date. He arrived promptly at 8:00 am and worked until about 1:00 pm. He removed old caulking around the shower floor, cleaned the grout in the shower and installing new grout and applied paint to worn ares in the shower. In addition he determine that caulked areas around the bath was not done properly. He removed the old caulk and applied new caulk around the entire bath area. Mack did all his work in a clean and efficient manner. He asked me to inspect his work and he cosmetically touched up areas around the shower enclosure I requested. This job is the third time I called Mack and he continues with his excellent services.

We have tried several different tile contractors over the years, but Mac is far and away the best. He pays attention to every detail and seems to treat each job like art. He showed up when promised and completed the project expertly. These jobs can get messy, but he took care of all the cleanup so there was nothing else for us to do. We did have a slight problem with some caulk rolling up around master bath sink. Turned out it was result of defective tube of caulk. We called Mack and he returned to repair the affected areas. In addition to his proficiiency, he is a friendly, funny guy and I enjoyed getting to know him. we have recommended him to family and others.

Mack was professional and prompt and worked within my budget to give me fabulous results in our shower. I would definitely work with Mack again. He will go out of his way to provide you with a beautiful finished product.

Mack came quickly to estimate the job - essentially a repointing, sealing, and overhaul of a leaky shower stall. He was able to schedule the work quickly, arrived as scheduled, and quickly and professionally completed the job. Truly a craftsman!

Mr. Adams was very professional and knowledgeable. He was punctual; and accommodating and worked very hard to please. His work is flawless and restores the tile to a new appearance. PERFECT! PERFECT! PERFECT! He did amazing work and was timely, Knowledgeable, polite and listened to me. We chose the color together and he explained his process. This repair looks better than the original! I would definitely use Adams Tile again.

Mack made every effort to get to us quickly within his busy schedule. His work was excellent and he was prompt and very professional. He is being very thorough and complete. He is not rushing the job. He is very informative and pays very close attention to detail. He was always prompt and stays late if he needs. I had called another tile expert for a recommendation for my shower issues. He recommended that I tear out my shower floor and 15" of tile above that and replace the tile. I was afraid that it would look like a patch job so I said no thank you and called Mack Adams for an opinion. Mack came out and his recommendation was quite different. What impressed me about Mr Adams was that he listened to what I wanted done, then made suggestions. Mack was always delightful to have around and went out of his way to do a good job. If he couldn't make it for some reason, he would always call. I would definitely recommend him.

After finding Mack via an Angie's List search, I called him to come out and look at the job. Given our situation ( a leak in our master bathroom shower from the 2nd story to the 1st floor ceiling), he was able to work us into his schedule in short order. He called prior to our scheduled appointment time to confirm he was on his way. After reviewing the scope of job and estimate, we decided to proceed. Mack was very detailed - even going out to his truck several times, to find the best samples to match our existing grout color. The job was accomplished in approx. 8 - 9 hours over a two day period. In addition to replacing the grout in the "problem" area, Mack worked his magic on the entire shower interior (floor, walls, ceiling, and seat), as well as our entire tub deck, and even some problem areas he found on the floor in the main part of the bathroom. In addition, he removed and replaced all the old silicone caulk from our glass surround and door, and cleaned up the bronze fixtures like new. We honestly have a "brand new" shower and complete tile job! It looks amazing! Because we had a house full of people, and our shower could not be used until the job was completed, he even started the job on a Saturday! (Very much appreciated!) During the process Mack described what he would be doing, kept me informed on how the job was going, and cleaned up the entire area at the end of his work day. When the job was done, he also spent time to review maintenance. I liked Mack. I liked the way he approached his work, and the finished product is beautiful. Although I hope I don't have to invite him back for a good while (smile, wink), I wouldn't hesitate to call him first for any future repairs for any tile/grout in hour home. He will be our go-to guy!

He came to my house and looked at the first bathroom. Easy fix. Then we went to the master bathroom where a lot of the grout was cracking. He evaluated and gave me an estimate realizing that we really wouldn't know how much water had been getting behind the tile until the tile came off. He explained clearly what he would do. I explained what my longer term plans were for the bathroom. In the end, I decided (with the advice of Mack) to invest that repair money into remodeling the bathroom. He was kind enough to caulk the cracks to give me some time to figure out what I really want and some guidance on finding a good vendor as well as things to think about in my redesign. He was very helpful and if I need tile repair work done, I would definitely call him.

We have very expensive travertine tile in our foyer with very narrow grout seams. I was very hesitant about having it worked on, but Mack did an excellent job. We had some small pieces of cracked travertine that he miraculously made invisible to the eye. He made our bathroom shower look better than new and drastically recuced future maintenance. Throughout the various jobs, he matched the grout color perfectly. He was timely, reliable, and a pleasure to work with.

Mack was great to work with from start to finish. When I first called him around mid December he indicated he could not take on new work until February. But when he realized my place was nearby another job he was working on he agreed to look at the job and see if he could work it in sooner. We met 3 days later due to my schedule on a Friday. We agreed on a price and he began on Monday. Since this was a second home I gave him a key on the spot and agreed to return on Thursday to pay him.I felt very comfortable with Mack regarding his honesty and integrity based on our discussions of the details of what needed to be done, his attention to detail, explaining the worst case scenerio of the threshold may needing to be replaced based on his inspection but would not know for sure until he got the loose tiles removed and could see more. Mack is an engineer by training like me so I really appreciated the details of the quality materials and processes he uses to insure a long lasting and aesthetically pleasing repair. He does things the right way and is a bit of a perfectionist which is what one wants in a craftsman. He knew this was a present to my wife for Christmas and he wanted to make sure it sparkled so she would go Wow!!! Which she did when I showed her the result on Christmas eve after church. Mack is very customer service oriented. He called me a couple of times during the job to update me on the status of his progress. And he called a few days after Christmas to be sure my wife was "Wowed" to use his words. I highly recommend Mack for similar work based on my experience.

Very well. Although the job had to be done in various stages and took several days, overall experience was very good. Our shower floor looks great. Mack was very thorough, explained each step and was such a pleasure to deal with. He is a professional tile repairman who insists in using on the best product and cares about the quality of his work. He had noticed some high spots on the shower floor that had created pooling areas of water and corrected that problem, removed most of the old cracked grout, sealed and calked everything within the shower. From the look of the finished shower, I think I will never ever see another crack or mildew stain ever again in there!. In addition he retouched areas of the shower (metal frames, shower heads etc and floor drain) with corresponding paint color and our shower looks so nice. He educated us about the shower drip pan and gave us some tips for keeping our shower new looking. I can't say enough good things about him. We are so fortunate that we choose Adams Tile Repair for our project. Mack also re-grouted large areas of our kitchen tile backsplash that had gotten old and cracked. Fixed a granite seam as well. He also noticed other areas needing attention and fixed what he found along the way. Thank you Mack! We are more than satisfied with the fine work you did for us.
