Description of Work: Mac fixed a shower with a bad liner. He is very professional, clearly knows what he is doing, and a good communicator. No surprises. Just diligence and he does what he says he will do, which is a breath of fresh air in an industry full of people trying to show up at the next place they think a check is waiting. I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: We had cracked and misapplied grout throughout our master shower room, a misaligned glass shower door that would not close, and a sealant applied to the wrong side of the glass enclosure. The room has a large walk-in shower and a toilet, and tile covers the floor and extends about 3 1/2 feet up the walls. The tile, itself, was originally installed well, but because the grout had been badly misapplied and sealant had been applied to the wrong side of the glass enclosure and was covering up weep holes, the grout had bad cracks, was difficult to clean, and there was a constant buildup of mold. Mr. Adams was responsive, punctual, pleasant, and diligent, and he arranged his work schedule to coincide with when my husband was to be out of town. Other providers had offered only cosmetic treatments of the problem, and Mr. Adams is the only one who discovered that the original installers had applied sealant on the wrong side of the glass enclosure. He spent one day carefully removing all of the bad grout, and he returned the next day to rehang the glass door, reapply grout (with a proper bonding agent) and correctly apply sealant around the glass enclosure. Now the door opens and closes properly, the water drains properly, and the tile is beautiful. Our house cleaner might be the person most happy with Mr. Adams' work, because he now can clean that bathroom with ease!

HE MADE SURE THE WORK WAS DONE CORRECTLY AND FIXED SOME HIDDEN PROBLEMS THAT CAME OUT WHEN THE WALL IN THE SHOWER WAS TORN OUT TO MAKE THE TILE REPAIRS. THIS WAS A HARD JOB TO DO BUT HE FIXED IT RIGHT. I THINK MACK DOES EXCELLENT WORK. WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

MY SHOWER LOOKS BETTER THAN IT HAS IN THE 15 MONTHS WE'VE HAD THE HOME (AND IT WAS NEW TO START WITH, AND HAS HAD FOUR OTHER CONTRACTORS WORK ON IT).

THE SHOWER WAS ONLY TWO YEARS OLD, BUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE ORIGINAL INSTALLER WAS HORRID AND I DID NOT WANT THAT COMPANY BACK IN MY HOUSE. MACK INSISTED THAT I AT LEAST GET THEM TO COME LOOK AT IT AND SAID HE WOULD BACK ME UP. THEY CAME AND DID NOT HESITATE TO SAY THEY WOULD REPLACE THE ENTIRE BOTTOM QUARTER OF THE SHOWER. THIS WAS A BIG DEAL. THE REPAIRMEN DID A GOOD JOB. THEY HAPPILY AND PROMPTLY FIXED A FEW SPOTS I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH. I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT SHOULD ANY PROBLEMS ARISE WITH THE WORK IN THE FUTURE, THEY WILL RESPOND PROMPTLY AND FIX IT CORRECTLY.

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE AND ENTHUSIASM. I SCHEDULED HIM FOR THE PROJECT AND HE ARRIVED PROMPTLY FOR THE JOB. HE WORKED VERY HARD AND UPON COMPLETION MY SHOWER AND BATHROOM FLOOR LOOKED LIKE NEW. IN ADDITION, HE GAVE A WARRANTY ON THE JOB THAT WILL TRANSFER TO THE NEW OWNERS. MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT I DIDN'T HAVE THE WORK DONE SOONER SO THAT I COULD HAVE ENJOYED MY NEW BATHROOM! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MACK ADAMS FOR ANY TILE WORK YOU HAVE. HE RECOMMENDED HE REPAIR THE CRACKED TILES WITH A FILLER THAT MATCHES (INSTEAD OF REPLACING TILES). HE SAID HE WOULD START IN 2 WEEKS AND DID NOT SHOW (SAID HE HAD THE FLU). HE CAME ON WEDNESDAY THE FOLLOWING WEEK, STARTED THE WORK ON THURSDAY, AND WENT OUT OF TOWN ON FRIDAY. HE SAID HE WOULD SHOW UP ON MONDAY AND DID NOT SHOW UNTIL TUESDAY. HE CALLED AND I TOLD HIM HOW UPSET I WAS. HE PUT A BROWN GROUT IN OUR HALLWAY ON WHITE TILE WITH WHITE WOODWORK (DOESN'T LOOK GOOD). HE DID DO A NICE JOB REPLACING THE SOAP DISH, BUT WE NOW HAVE 2 CRACKED TILES UNDERNEATH IT. HE DID A GOOD JOB ON THE SHOWER FLOOR AND THE GROUTING. HE DID A POOR JOB FILLING THE CRACKED TILES. WE TOLD HIM WE DID NOT WANT HIM TO DO ANYMORE WORK AND PAID HIM $800. IN MY EXPERIENCE, HE ''OVER PROMISED'' AND ''UNDER DELIVERED''. HE WAS VERY EXPENSIVE AND WE STILL HAVE WORK TO BE DONE.
