They were on time, and very professional. He actually did more work than he was supposed to do, so I was pleased with that.

The management of Acosta was able to expedite a long lead part, cover all repairs under warranty and get my system back up and running in three days.

Knowing little about central air conditioning, I relied on Angie's List recommendations to choose a knowledgeable company when our ten-year-old upstairs A/C unit was failing. Unfortunately, in this case, past performance does not seem to have been a good indicator of future performance. The installer spent all day removing the old equipment from outside and in the attic, and replaced everything including the slab. He did not install the Trane unit that the salesman referenced, but instead put in a Carrier; frankly, I don't know the difference. After installation, everything seemed fine at first. The unit is certainly quieter. The first problem was that the work failed the building inspection, with two defects. Acosta did not follow up when they received the inspection notice, as we thought they should. Basically, they ignored us until we insisted that they remedy the installation work. The second problem was that the system failed after only a couple of weeks. It would come on and start blowing cool air, and then cycle back off almost immediately. Apparently, Acosta does not do repairs on the weekend, so we had to wait until Monday. The repairman, who was not the installer, said that the condensation drain was completely clogged. The installer had said that we should pour bleach in that line every couple of months, something we had never had to do in ten years with the previous system. Wouldn't you think that the installer would check that the drain line was clear? It should not have clogged up in two weeks. We also insisted that the repairman also fix the problems that caused the inspection failure. The repairman insisted on being paid $169 for his work. We followed up later with a company representative, who agreed to refund that charge. However, it took many weeks and several phone calls to finally get a check. We have not yet had the second building inspection (this requires that you take at least a half day off from work). So, this has become a two-month hassle involving us having to miss work three times. We have received no documents from the company -- no manual, no written warranty, nothing. I think that we should have received a written warranty. I said that I would use this company again, with some hesitation. I think that it is best to have future repairs done by the same company that did the installation. And I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, based on their past reports of good results. But I will certainly check Angie's List again at that time, to see if we are just an exceptional case, or whether the firm's performance has fallen below par for other customers.

The experience with the heating and A/C company has been fine. They did what they said they were going to do. I have a service contract with them. The quality of their work is good. They are responsive and professional. However, I have no way of measuring the price.

Called JP at Acosta and set up an appointment for an estimate on a new upstairs system. Our builder's grade system was pretty much shot at this point, and didn't want to dump anymore cash into it. JP, along with 3 other companies came to our house for a detailed estimate and Acosta seemed to offer the best price and service for the job. The installers arrived on our requested day and installed new system in about 8-8.5 hrs. Everyone from Acosta was EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. We were very pleased with the entire process and now enjoying our new high efficiency system this summer! We will be calling Acosta again for all service needs and when our downstairs system requires replacement (which isn't too far off.)

They were great to deal with; they were our second choice. They answered their phone calls and they came on time. They gave us an estimate of $4500.00.

I will never have them here again. I didn't feel like the man was honest. There was a really easy fix that I needed him to do, and he kept looking to find something else wrong with it. He finally sold me a maintenance agreement. I won't have them come back.

They come out on time and are very professional. They wear the proper protection on their feet to ensure that my home is kept clean. I have never had any trouble with the quality of their work. They always give me verbal feedback after they check my furnace. I will continue to use them in the future.

The heating wasn t working, and so I had them come out and take a look at it. There were a number of things that had been improperly installed, and they fixed it all up. They did a great job, they were on time, and let me know what was going on.

We have been very pleased. The people they send out have been great. They send out 2 a year, one to check the heating, the other the air. They have competitive prices. They show up when they say they will. They will call if they would be late.

It was fabulous. It went well. They had to came back out and do some things for the inspection. They were really good about that.

What impressed me with this company was that I called them at 8:00 am and they were at my house at 9:00am with the part that they needed. They took care of the problem right away. This was the first time I used them and I would have them back anytime.

I have used this company often for the past five to six years. I have a service contract with this company and find them reliable. They have also put in my furnace and air conditioning unit. I am familiar with them and I feel that their prices are standard.

They were very courteous when they were there working. They showed up on time to do the work. They cleaned up everything when they were done working. The unit broke down ten months after they put it in and they put a new one in with no charge.

They gave excellent service, very prompt. We had one issue after installation and they came back out very quickly. They were super.

I HAVE A SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THEM. THEY COME OUT TWICE A YEAR TO INSPECT OUR HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. WE HAVE BEEN USING THEIR SERVICES FOR ABOUT FOUR YEARS. THEY HAVE VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEIR RESPONSIVE, AND THERE SEEMS TO BE CONSISTENCY AMONG THERE EMPLOYEES.

It went very well. There were a couple minor problems with the installation but everything was promptly fixed, so nothing major. I have a service contract with them.

About 10 minutes before he arrived, he phoned to let me know he was on his way. Everything went smoothly, and the technician went about his work efficiently.

They do excellent work. The guys who came out were Tim and Timothy. They were very professional and very courteous. I couldn't have been happier, just excellent.
