The crew arrived on time each day and was very courteous. They explained what work they were going to accomplish each day and stayed on schedule. The company tore out carpet and small amount of hardwoods, replaced with engineered hardwood, moved all furniture during the process and finished with the installation of all new painted shoe moldings. They were quick but thorough and did a great job. They were very good about cleaning up each day and discussed their arrival time for the following day. The floors look beautiful and the job was done with care and expertise. They ran a little behind but made sure it was okay with us to finish on a Saturday morning. I would highly recommend them!!!!

The quality of work was good. They were punctual. They came out exactly when they said they would and did exactly what they said they would. They did a great job.

The process was very smooth. Dan came out and gave me an estimate. I compared it with 3 others. I called and scheduled a date for the refinishing. The guys showed up on time, sanded, stained, and put first coat of polyurethane on from 8:00 am until around 6:00 pm. Worked Mon, Tue and Wed and the job was done. Very minimal dust. I think the floors look better than they did when this house was built 50 years ago. Thank you Dan, and crew.

They did a great job and installed new hard wood and all there employees were on time and very polite. Although we ran into a major issue with wood type, Accent was easy to work with and solved the problem.

Very good. Based on Angie's List reports and referral from a friend, we got exactly what we expected. Accent matched the stain in the hallway perfectly, eliminating the need to refinish the hall and staircase. All of the work was performed while we were on vacation. This is the only place you need to shop for hardwood floor service.

Dan Minton was excellent to work with. He showed up as scheduled to give us an estimate and was very accommodating to fit our schedule to install the flooring when we were out of town. All work was completed in a timely manner.

I called and left a message with my name (spelled out) and phone number on March 10 in the voice mailbox of Dan Minton to request an estimate. His outgoing message did not indicate or set an expectation that his response would be delayed for any reason. Three days later, still no response.

Very professional, very timely, good communication. Best of all, the floors look absolutely terrific.

The job didn't go as planned because we were hoping to refinish the original pine floors in our kitchen, but the wood turned out to be terribly stained. Dan and his team did a great job helping us choose something new to install. The installer was extremely conscientious, and alerted me to many issues along the way to make sure I was happy. We have hardwoods throughout our home and will be calling Accent when we are ready to refinish the rest of the house.

The owner was extremely professional and worked with me to match the floors. He actually took the time to make sure that everything worked. His crew was highly professional, neat, and orderly. We didn't have on problem with this company. We had our entire kitchen remodeled and this company had the highest professional standard.

Excellent. They matched the stain to that on our first floor. Dan worked with us to install and finish half of the space at a time to allow us to move the furniture into the other half. The crews were excellent and professional. All of the work, including some follow-up, was done promptly. And the new floors look great!!

Dan Minton returned my call promptly, and offered a great deal of advice before we even scheduled an appointment. He arrived on time for the estimate appointment, and was again very friendly and helpful. The installation went just as planned, and the wood flooring looks great!

Daniel Minton gave a reasonable estimate of $5000 to replace the downstairs with bamboo hardwoods. His initial response to providing the estimate and showing up on time was great. He was very professional, courteous and patient with all of my questions. Within a couple of days, his estimate was sent to my email box and was a fair price. I then contacted him, we discussed the job and he agreed to bring by some samples for me to choose from within a couple of days. However, he has not called or followed up in any manner after 4 weeks.

Installed new floor and repaired old floor on first day. Sanding and sealer coat (oil based) was scheduled for 10 days later. Crew put up plastic to minimize dust in rest of house. The first and second coat of finish (water based) were applied on the following two days. Shoe mold was installed on the day of the final finish coat. Our cat tracked through the wet final coat, so Accent was asked to buff and apply another final coat 2 days later at additional cost. The crew was on time 4 of the 5 days. They were expected at 8:00 AM for the 4 th day, but did not show up on time. When called, they explained the crew had been sent to another job and it would be around 3:00 PM. They arrived at 4:00 PM. Aside from being late on the 4 th visit, the overall experience was good. The crew was polite, efficient and thorough. The quality of the work was good. They did a bit of extra work at no extra cost (added shoe mold in adjacent hallway where some was missing).

Mr. Minton's bid was emailed within 48 hours of his visit. He was able to schedule my job quickly (within 2 weeks of my accepting his bid). His workers began work on time, taped off areas to minimize dust, and worked as scheduled. When I asked Mr. Minton to make the final coat glossier, he had no problem accommodating my request. There were no surprises and the process went very smoothly. I would recommend Mr. Minton's Accent Wood Floors with no reservations.
