It went well. The job was completed and the area was left very neat and tidy. It did not take long at all.

First, John showed up on time and even called before he arrived to let us know he was on his way. He quickly looked over the items we wanted removed and gave us a price. John was ready to do the work at that time and within 1/2 hour everything was loaded onto his truck and gone. We could not have been happier with the experience and would certainly use ABCO again.

I called them on Saturday afternoon when I realized the job was larger than expected. John came Sunday morning to assess the job and provide a quote. They came Monday while I was at work and took care of the entire job.

I called on Monday to inquire about hauling away some junk. The owner said he could come out the next day to give me an estimate. He showed up on time and was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this service.

John showed up on time, loaded his trailer with all my cardboard and styrofoam, and hauled it away as promised. He was cheerful and easy to work with. A complete professional. I recommend him highly.

I called John to take a mattress and box spring to the landfill as they could not be donated? John was able to come out the same day and was very prompt. He was very careful removing the mattress/box spring as he had to bring them down a stairway with a landing. He didn't touch or scrape the walls. We negotiated a price that was acceptable to both of us. I would definitely call him again.

I found contractor to be friendly and willing to negotiate. Very glad to have the job completed right then and there, no follow up appt. necessary.

We called John Monday afternoon and he was able to come out to our house in Chapel Hill first thing Tuesday morning. We agreed on a price on the phone that was really fair, in our opinion. He was prompt and worked quickly and took away a huge amount of junk from a basement renovation. We have had big junk removal companies help us in the past, and we far preferred working with John--he was so quick, so friendly, and so easy to deal with. We're delighted with him and would recommend him to anyone!

John was fantastic. It was a difficult job, and he was understanding and flexible. Made it easy on me, and at a price that is hard to find from anywhere else. I recommend you give John a try if you have something that needs to be removed.

I called John on Saturday - met John on Sunday to show him the nature of the job - he did the first phase on Monday, and completed the job on Wednesday. He worked steadily, was very organized and completed the job in record time. I was pleased with his work, and would use him again.

I called John on Sunday and he met me on Monday to start the job. He came back and finished on Wednesday. Everything was done to my satisfaction. I would certainly hire him again.

I called John for an estimate on August 8th in the afternoon. He came that same evening, we agreed on a price, and he completed the work! I couldn't be happier.

We made an appointment for Friday am, and he arrived at the agreed time, and got right to work. He worked nonstop for the next four hours.The only problems I had were the fee, and compenstion to us for the removal of an old truck. We agreed that if he made any money off the truck-selling it for scrap metal-that we would get half. When he did sell it for $250, he wanted to instead split the money with 'the guy who took it to the scrap yard'. We just let it go.For the job, we'd agreed upon $300 initially, but as the work day wore on he reminded me several times what a great deal we were getting, so I so I took the hint and gave him $100 more. That should have been taken care of in the estimate, because he was shown what the job would entail.I thought for a long time about this review, and because he'd gotten such good grades from his other customers I was hesitant to give bad feedback, thinking it might just have been us. But I don't think so.

He was great overall. He came as agreed and gave options of hauling then or coming back. Hiswork was efficient and he is very congenial.

I looked up the company on Angie's List and had received great reviews and I got an idea of what the service would/should cost. He answered and we scheduled a time for him to come give a FREE quote. I rarely ever see offers of free quotes. He arrived at the scheduled time, even though a massive storm had just passed through, and looked at the job. We negotiated a very fair price for the job and he got to work. In an hour, the job was done and he was on his way. Very professional and punctual. i would/will definitely call again.

Couldn't have gone any smoother. He came said he was ready to pick it up. We agreed on a price, he loaded everything up by himself I might add and was done. The guy is personable, professional and a pleasure to do business with.

I called ABCO today to get a quote for removal of wooden playset that had been dismanteled as well as wooden ties. Owner said he would be here between 11:00-12:00. He came at 11:00 and get a quote of $150.00. He romoved the wooden set and pieces in about 40 minutes. Company is very professional and prompt with reasonable prices. Will recommend the company and will call ABCO again.

John came and gave me an estimate and showed up early! The next day he came and removed a full trailer of junk. I had asked him to remove an old pallet as well as old firewood and two items in the house. He ended up having to make two trips but remained true to his original price and even removed some junk from the outbuilding. He worked very hard and yet was open to conversation and friendly....very pleasant experience. I plan to use him in the near future to remove the last of my "years of accumulating" and would highly recommend him to everyone.

Because this company is listed on Angies list, I called and talked to John. He came out the next day (today) and looked over what I had gathered up in piles throughout my yard and gave me a price. I agreed and he began work immediately. He picked up all the debree (a whole trailer full) and had completed the job in about an hour and a half. He was very courteous and asked me if I was happy with the job he had performed, before he left. I assured him I was happy and, in fact, I referred him to a neighbor. I will definitely call John again when I need more work like this.

He takes as much care with furniture you're getting rid of as with that you're keeping. I had to get rid of an old, cranky sofa-bed and battered dropleaf table. He came, estimated (free) and I grabbed the time to get rid of the furniture since he had it available

Prompt, courteous and professional. Arrived on schedule and completed work quickly, cleanly and at a reasonable price. Will definately use this service again.
