Description of Work: Had "stuff" that needed to be cleared out of basement, including very old and heavy washer & dryer that could only be gotten out of the basement thru the very steep and narrow stairs. It took a significant amount of planning time to figure out how to move them to the front of the stairs and then up the stairs. |Additionally he took with him other yard items that we did not initially agree upon. |Will definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Description of Work: We had a very large 5 piece sectional sofa which we needed taken away. I checked Angie's list and found ABCO, I called John and told him what I needed. He said how soon do you want it taken away. I said as soon as possible. He said that will be about 2 hours. He came right on ime. John is very professional and polite. He removed the sofa from the house and took it away at a price that I felt was extremely fair.

He took care in breaking down the material and did no damage to my house. In fact, he actually cleaned up after doing the job and is very pleasant to work with.
Description of Work: John broke down and removed a large old desk and a headboard. He took away the material and disposed of it at the dump.

+ 0 moreJohn was able to do this work on short notice. He also adjusted his schedule to avoid weather delays. He was very professional, thorough and a little bit fun. The job included but not limited to removal of debris, household items, bed frame, garbage. This tenant also left 6-8 inches of cat litter and poo in a large 3ft. square planter containing a crepe myrtle, which had to be dug out to save the plant. He was finished in the time he stated which enabled me to get this condo ready for the next tenant on time. John's a good guy.

I called on Friday to see about having a stack of fallen tree limbs removed from my property. John answered and set an appointment for Saturday. He arrived right on time and we talked about a price. His concern was that he would charge me TOO MUCH. He offered to lower his rate AND take away other items from my garage. I told him I wanted the gasoline removed but was concerned about environmental issues. John explained exactly how he did that -- safely and with the environment in mind at a recycling center.
Description of Work: John hauled away tree limbs, a table and some gasoline from my garage.

Description of Work: John cleaned out a 1200 sq ft home loaded with garbage, junk furniture, etc. He was very professional-returned all calls promptly and met me at the house at our designated time. It was a multi-day job do to the horrendous squalor left behind by tenants-you literally could barely step through this house-and he also hauled off lots of junk left in the yard. The condition of the home was so horrible I was afraid no one would accept the job so I am grateful John accepted it.

I guess because of the small size of the job he said that he would come out and give me an estimate and I could either have him do the work on the spot or send him on his way. We ended up haggling over the price some and he did the work. He was very professional and got everything loaded up in less than half an hour. I was pleased with his service and would use him again.
Description of Work: I used John to haul away several bags of debris from my crawl space, a bathroom vanity, glass shower doors, and discarded packing supplies from a recent move. I had already bagged and moved all the trash to the driveway except for the vanity by the time John arrived.

He is also reasonable for the amount he removed. I have used him many times since the original time. On two occasions, he took items to Goodwill for us, and gave us the reciept later.
Description of Work: On six separate occasions, removed large amounts of rubbish from attic clean-out, downsizing move, and yard clean-up, including small appliances, computers, etc.
