We called 6 months ago, they charged us a $100 service charge but a tech never came out. They asked for pics of the serial number instead to order the part. They confirmed receipt. We call every month and no one answers (the voicemail is full). We email often and no response. I am assuming they are out of business. Either way, atrocious customer service.

This company came out to do a preventive maintanence check on our central HVAC unit under our Sears Home Warranty . They said it needed refrigerant and a sealant similar to Fix-A-Flat to seal the leak and that they would have to contact Sears Home Warranty for authorization, and they would contact us to set a date for the repair. They never called. When we called Sears to check on it, Sears said the company never turned in a report to them saying repair was needed and advised me to contact them. When I called, the lady who answered had attitude issues and I decided I no longer wished them to perform the repairs and asked Sears to send someone else out. The next company came out and checked the refrigerant level, showing me the level on the guage. No refrigerant was needed, but we had to pay for an unnecessary service call. The 2nd company said it appeared to them that A Tech was attempting to defraud both Sears Home Warranty and us by performing unnecessary repair work to pad their bill. I did submit a complaint to the BBB and when they were contacted by the BBB their response was "Sorry you feel that way".

Service was great. Getting in touch with them prior was very annoying no call back and voice mail stopped taking messages. In all fairness this was on July 4th weekend and a small company may not have the resources to handle the load or have the staff to support. The rep was on time called before arriving and was very professional.

It was thru a home warranty program so you just pay a deductible of $100. The home warranty company sent them out. They were very unprofessional and would not return phone calls. They were impossible to get a hold of. They need to have people who show when they have appointments. We had several times when we were waiting for someone to show up and they didn't come. Then when we would call and leave messages or emails we would get no response in return. It wasn't until I threatened to leave reviews on social media that they finally came out. They did fix it.

Within 1 week of dispatching the issue. Part was delivered to A-TECH APPLIANCE SVC via Fedex. It has been 36 days since the part was delivered. During this time we have received 0 calls from A-Tech appliance even after repeated reminders and voice-mails. The owner/operator 'Sharon' has done nothing even after I spoke to her on multiple occasions. I asked her why the service cannot be scheduled, her response was that they don't have the part. Totally false, have online tracking that shows when the part of delivered. Don't do business with them.
Description of Work: Assigned by national warranty company to fix dishwasher and washer. A-Tech person came within 4 days diagnosed the issue and ordered parts to repair / fix the issues identified

Service tech came out to the house to check our refrigerator... ice maker and water dispenser weren't working. Had to order a control board and some other parts... said would be 5 to 7 days. That was 6 weeks ago. Rarely reach anything but office recording when I call. They do not return calls in even remotely close to a timely manner. I finally was able to reach a live person at the office 2 weeks ago, and they said that they checked, and the parts still have not arrived. I called the insurance company back this week, and they said the parts were delivered 4 days after they were ordered. Where the parts went, how they were allegedly delivered unbeknownst to the receptionist, etc. is completely baffling. The insurance company left them a message to call me, and I left 2 more messages, including one on the field techs cell phone, and have yet to receive a call back. I agree 100% with the other person who wrote a review on this company.... do not try to do business with them.

I called Lowe's extended warranty on Thursday, July 5 to arrange for someone to come out to repair the icemaker on our refrigerator (for about the 5th time - whole other story though). In the past we had been covered under the manufacturers warranty and they contracted with a different company in the area. I stressed to the representative at Lowe's that I needed the repair person to call me approximately an hour before they thought they would arrive at my work number. The appointment was scheduled for Tuesday, July 10 between 1 and 5. On Monday, July 9, I called the company and left a voicemail (since no one answered the phone during regular operating hours), reiterating what I had told the Lowe's representative, that I needed them to please call me at my work number (which I provided) an hour ahead of time. On Tuesday, July 10, I waited and waited and waited and never received a phone call. In fact, I was hesitant to leave my desk at all out of concern that I would miss the call. When I left my office at 4 that afternoon, I pulled out of the garage, and two blocks from my garage, my voicemail on my cell phone beeped. The repairman, Eric, had called me on my cell phone at 2:40 that afternoon. I immediately called him back and explained that I had asked they call my office because the service in my building is spotty at best. I asked if there was any way he could come out at that point and he told me no, but he could come out the next day. I asked if there was any way to schedule the appointment for 4pm, and he said that would work. When I got home, I did find out that the company office had called the house at 11 that morning. There was no one at the house that day, so why they called there is beyond me. On Wednesday, July 11, I left work early to be at the house by 4pm. At 4:15, I called Eric to find out when I could expect him, only to be told that I was not on his route that day. I reminded him that we had spoken the day before and was told that he had talked to the owner who was supposed to arrange something. He told me that he would call the owner and call me right back. 15 minutes later, I still had not heard anything so I called the office directly. Again, I got a voicemail message and left a very long, detailed message. At 4:40, I called Lowe's to report the issue. Let me stress that Lowe's was very apologetic and was trying to get the situation rectified. The representative at Lowe's called the company directly and apparently was able to reach the owner. The owner said that Eric denied ever telling me that he would be out at 4, which contradicts what he told me on the phone. At this point I had missed work once during the week. I was on the phone with Lowe's trying to determine when I could get someone out when Eric called me back and apologized for the issues. He offered to come out then, but it was now 5pm, he was a half hour away, and I had to be somewhere at 5:30. He offered to come the next morning, but I could not miss work again. I asked him if he worked on Saturdays and he said yes, that he could come out on Saturday. I told him to please make sure he relayed the information to his boss so there wouldn't be any more issues. On Thursday, July 12, I called the company directly to verify that Eric had told them he would be coming out on Saturday. The receptionist was not aware of the appointment but told me she would verify and call me back. I never heard back from her. On Friday, July 13, I called the company again and was told that they had been trying to reach Eric the day before and not heard back from him. I stressed that I needed someone out there on Saturday. She told me she would call me back after discussing with Eric and the owner. She called back within 10 minutes and guaranteed that someone would be at my house between 8 and 12 on Saturday. She said something to the effect of it should be Eric but he could be a little flaky at times (ya think?). On Saturday, July 14, I got up early just in case someone showed up at 8am. At 12:15, I still had not gotten a phone call nor had anyone arrived at my house. Knowing that the office was closed that day, I called Eric since I still had his number. He proceeded to tell me that he had tried to get in touch with his boss to confirm that it was OK for him to come out on Saturday and never heard back. I told him that was funny since the office was telling me that they had tried repeatedly to reach him. He told me he would call his boss and call me right back. Two hours later, I still had not heard back from him, so I called him again. He told me he had not been able to reach the owner yet. I told him I had never in my life worked with a company that was so unprofessional in my life. I hung up the phone and called Lowe's. While it is not Lowe's fault that this company was unreliable, it doesn't do much for Lowe's reputation to be working with them. Lowe's agreed to file a complaint and scheduled a different company to come out to repair the refrigerator. This has got to be the most aggravating experience I have ever had in my life. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional and unreliable company. I would never in a million years recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: The company was contracted by Lowe's extended warranty and was supposed to repair the icemaker on my refrigerator.
