My parents had flooring installed by 50 Floor after speaking with a representative that came to the house. The installation was fine, but noticed a buckle beneath the flooring, several pieces of flooring coming up. Contacted 50 Floor was transferred to a representative named Heather who asked us to send her pictures of the flooring, which I did. We were informed by Heather that our warranty had expired and guess what we would have to pay for the repairs. I asked for a Supervisor to contact us STILL WAITING that was 10/31/23. My father passed and we had to have this awful looking flooring in the house. I would never ever recommend 50Floor to anyone. It’s funny how your warranty is expired when repairs are needed, at the customer’s cost. No such thing as 100 % guarantee. BEWARE: if you are looking for flooring, please by pass 50 Floor. They do not care about customers only the bottom line. Believe me the flooring was not cheap!!!

We had carpet installed by 50 Floors. At first, we loved the job that was done. After a while, the carpet began to roll in three rooms. We contacted 50 Floors. After much discussion, they finally sent someone out to fix it and guaranteed it would not happen again. Wrong! It happened again. One room is a guest room that no one uses. This time they would not send someone to fix it. They wanted to charge us $250 to fix something they did not do right the first two times. I would not recommend them to anyone. They do not stand by their word. Buyer beware!!!

This is the second time we’ve used 50 floor for flooring work. Overall both times they do excellent work and excellent prices. My concern was with the most recent job that they did. They installed flooring in our master bathroom. We were only informed at the end of the job of two things. 1) when they were reattaching the toilet the toilet was now leaking and 2) The new flooring raised up the floor enough that the doors would not close in the bathroom anymore. The lady on the phone explained to me very matter-of-factly that it was in “the fine print” that they were not responsible for each of these things. When you spend over $1000 on a new floor and they leave telling you that you have two new problems that you didn’t have before they install the floor And that it was in “the fine print” this is kind of unacceptable. When we got the estimate the salesman explain that the new flooring was floating floor and would be installed on top of the tile. This would have been a good time, as an expert in his field, to explain to us that this might cause problems requiring additional construction on the doors to the bathroom. Then to simply tell me that I’m going to need to get a plumber So that my new over $1000 floor doesn’t get ruined. That’s just doesn’t say five stars to me. Will we be using 50 Floor again for Our main area, the largest part of our house, the next project that we have that will probably be $7 or $8000? I don’t know that we will and that is a shame because they do good work. But as a lay person I like it for folks to disclose to me all the potential costs as I make a purchase, not after the job is done. That is a professionals responsibility to both disclose and to educate the consumer. In this regard 50 floor failed this time.

I have a love/hate relationship with them. They did floors for us too last year. We weren't 100% happy with the floors, but the carpet, I can't complain about what they did with the carpet. I possibly would use them again, only because the floor we had put in we didn't have put in all over downstairs and in order to get it to match, I probably would have to get it from them. So, that's the only reason I'm saying yes, I'd use them again

We weren't 100% happy with the floors. Well, it took a lot longer than we expected them to. It started out with about three or four people and then half of them left. So, it was only two people, so that's why it took a whole lot longer. They had to come back several times for repairs. I'm still having an issue with the trim they put around the marble, on the floor in front of the fireplace, it keeps coming off.

The salesperson, B. Johnson, arrived promptly. He was friendly and did not do the hard salesman pitch. I explained to him what I needed. He showed me the samples and explained the difference between the different types of flooring. The price beat the price offered by a different company. Unfortunately due to the other work needed to be completed, I had to cancel my order and go with a company that could handle everything (drywall, baseboard, etc) and stay within my budget. If it were simply flooring replacement needed, I would have completed order.

They were punctual. The people they sent out were professional. They did a good job. I mainly had them do my den area. I was tired of carpeting. I like them. I've been really pleased. The quality of the floors is good. They helped me pick out exactly what I want. They come to the house and bring you the stuff to look at. This experience was good. The workers were on time, quick and efficient. The moved the furniture and told me what they could move and what they couldn't move ahead of time. It was a good experience.

I would not recommend them to anyone. They kept telling me everything was on backorder. It's still not completely done and I'm moving. They were terrible with scheduling and they didn't do a great job. Some of the guys were more interested in seeing what was in my moving dumpster and what they could take. They have to refund me some money because they couldn't do everything I wanted. I would never use them again. The carpet guy was entire day late. The workers who I believed were subcontractors, were very nice. It was just communication issues.

I just went and goggled them, I didn't know that they were on there. As far as the guy I met with today, very professional, showed up in a clean shirt, with a 50 Floor logo, showed up on time, was courteous and explained the product and the discount. He wasn't rude or condescending or disrespectful, he wasn't any of those things, quite the opposite. It was quick. I called them yesterday, they met with me today.
Description of Work: I met with them today and it came in I believe at $2575 and that was a customer appreciation discount so the total price was $4286. I got a customer appreciation discount of $1600. Then I got a...I mentioned Debbie in the commercial so I got another $100 off. Then it came out to $2575 for the 3 rooms and the closet.

The installation went well, they were on time and worked all day. Very polite and very professional during the installation. After the installation some parts of the carpet when you step on it would look lighter and would leave a foot print also fibers were coming loose from the carpet. I called the office admin to explain to her the issue. They asked me to take pictures of the issue and that someone would call me back no one ever called me back. I called again in February and complained, someone from the corporate office came out and inspected the the carpet. They took a lot of pictures and the inspector explained they would look further into the situation and call us back. When they reached back out to us, they believed it was something that was done "off site" and suggested that I get the carpet the cleaned. I would not recommend them at all and the issue is still not resolved.
Description of Work: They pulled up the old carpet, disposed of it and then installed the new carpet in our entire home.
From the sales process to the end result - fabulous. 50 Floor communicated with me every step of the way. If they said they would call, they called. I was never left wondering what would happen next or what to expect. Communication is key, especially with a job the size of mine. The contractors for both the carpet and hardwood where extremely hard working and did beautiful work. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them for your flooring needs...ask for Joe...he was the best!

They were okay. There were three people who came out and started installing it. One of them left. He seemed like the leader of the little group. He was gone for hours. It was 10 o'clock and it was very late. By 9 o'clock he came back and it took them 10 o'clock to finish the job and I didn't like that. I knew it would not have taken that long have he stayed and finished the job with the other people who were here. My husband had to haggle and haggle to get the price he wanted. I think they're too expensive for the product they're installing. I wasn't totally happy with the product. Their responsiveness was really good.

Their first installers were supposed to show up around 9am on April 8th, yet they did not show up until around 11:15 to start what was supposed to be a 2 day project. There were about 4 installers but we never saw more than 2 working at any given time. Most would go outside to talk on their phone or to take a break. They were at our house until around 4:30 that first day and said they would be back at 8am to finish. 2nd day they showed up again around 11am (not 8am as promised). They finished late on the 2nd day staying at our house until 10pm, but told us they realized at the very last minute that they did NOT have enough carpet to finish! They also had several install issues such as seams not being done correctly, etc. They then tried to send out the installers again the next week with the additional carpet, but with carpet color did not match on one of our floors, and it was obvious. We told the "Manager" in charge that we were not happy. They send out a different installer to look at our concerns and he agreed the seams were not right and the color did not match and they agreed to redo the areas effected. Again on the 2 install, AFTER measuring for a 3rd time, they still arrived with NOT ENOUGH CARPET to finish the job and did not alert us to this mis measurement until this installer was done! He tried to convince us that they had indeed finished installing new carpet on all areas, but it was obvious that one area of our upstairs floor was a different color (hence the old carpet was still in one room of that floor). I called the manager again, and they blamed the installer for the error and the installer blamed the manager for the error saying that management told him to go ahead with the install and just try to pass it off as they replaced the entire floor of carpet, when in fact they had not! After a very heated discussion we had with 50 Floor, they agreed again to reorder new carpet for us and replace the entire 3rd floor of carpet to match the rest of the house. Showed up about 10 days later with carpet in a darker dye lot that did not match..so we sent it back. 4th try, they finally got it right. After numerous days off from work for all of the installation dates and numerous calls to 50 floor, they agreed to reduce the cost of the carpet some for us but it really was not enough to replace the value of our "time" invested in this. It was a NIGHTMARE from day one and we would never recommend that anyone use this company for anything!
Description of Work: Met with salesman who used high pressure tactics to get you to buy immediately....lowering his price to get us to commit. He made a big deal about how good they were with getting the measurements right and great customer service. (Not true) We said we wanted to think about it, but he said we would have to sit through all of the sales pitch and pricing again if he left without the sale and had to come back. We went forward with the purchase but wish we had not!

That was a bad experience. They came out. I had cracked tile in my kitchen and I wanted floor laminate put over it. I asked if they could do that and they say yes. I also had a contractor that came out for my cabinets and I was telling him. He noticed the cracks and asked if I was going to do something about that. I said yeah, I hired 50 floor. I said, they are going to come out and they are going to cover it. He said, you can't cover cracked tile, you have to replace it before you can lay down laminate. So, it was four days after I signed the contract. I called them up and said, my contractor said that you can't be putting floor laminate on cracked tiles, so I want to cancel my order because I was not happy with them giving me false information. They charged me a restocking fee. They charged me $1200.00. And the thing that really pissed me off was they charged me a restocking fee for the materials and the labor. They hadn't done any labor.

The arrived when promised and moved all things as promised. However, the boxes that contained my stemware and other crystal pieces and china, I found were all broken and had to be discarded. Some boxes were left outside to be ruined by the weather. Not able to get out back, I was not aware of this. The installation of the carpet has been coming up and strings are sticking up at all doorways, closets and one place in the living room there is a string that has come up in the middle of the room. I have tried many times to call them, email them and even contacted the main office phone number. They have not returned one call yet. My carpet is in need of cleaning, but I have been waiting for them to come and look at this installation job. I responded to one of their TV ads to receive a discount because I am on a fixed income, but wanted some quality flooring for my home. I never expected it to look so bad. Even around the floorboards the installation looks so bad. In trying to get my home renovated for resale value because of my health condition, it seems that I will have to figure some way to get this corrected. The work is so inferior and the product seems inferior as well.

They got here really early and didn't leave until about 1030 at night. In my room there are pieces sticking up. In another room there are some other pieces sticking up. The border they put up is not good at all. The color is not good and it appears to be cracking. No one ever came back to see if the floor looked good or to ask if I liked it.

They were going to put laminate over my cracked tile. A contractor came out and stated should never put laminate on cracked floor tiles. Stating that the cracked tile means that the foundation may need repair. I called the company and let them know that this was unable to be completed. They stated they do it all the time. They charged me a $1300.00 restocking fee which the amount they charged me was the material and labor fees.

Our company tries every time to ensure that we have satisfied the customer in all areas regarding their flooring purchase. We understand that you find it questionable about laminate being installed over your existing tile. While laying laminate over tile is in industry standards, 50 Floor does not use this as a common practice. In your flooring status, we would make sure your floor had proper floor preparation before moving forward since you have an existing crack. Our company also has a three day right to cancel after the date of agreement which is outlined in our flooring contact. You have the right to cancel, but you would be subject to a 20% restocking fee if cancelling after your three day right. 50 Floor's restocking fee offsets incurred labor, administrative and material costs. The cancellation took place outside your three day right to cancel and 50 Floor has refunded the deposit on your job less the 20% restocking fee. We understand your frustration in this matter and again we apologize that you did not have a good experience with our company.

As soon as they got here, one of the workers went into the bedroom and slammed the laminate right down. They went ahead and layed the laminate flooring before even checking what was underneath. After they were finished, we noticed a soft spot in the floor where it would go down when you step on it. I pointed this out, and he acted like I knew it was already there. When I asked them to come back out and pull up the flooring to check the soft spot, they said that would cost me more money. Both of the workers rude and unprofessional.

I met with a sales representative July 3 and selected the carpet. The sales rep was professional and very easy to work with. On July 9 I called the 50 Floor office to find out estimated install dates. I was told by the gentleman that answered the phone that the carpet had been ordered and that I would receive a phone call to set a date for installation when the material arrived. On July 21 I called again for a status update and was told that the carpet had not been ordered because the sales representative had been hospitalized and did not submit his order paperwork. That confused me because two weeks prior I was told that my paperwork had been pulled and that the carpet had been ordered. While I am very sorry that that the sales rep became ill (of course an unforeseen personal event) I was not happy to realize that the company lacked a firm business continuity processes to ensure that customer service is not delayed due to an individual employee's circumstances. No concessions were made to address my dissatisfaction due to the contracted and quot;unforeseen circumstancesand quot; language. I do not believe this qualifies under their unforeseen circumstances category because the company itself did not have a process in place to ensure that they followed up on sales calls with customers. Every time I spoke with someone from the office they consistently blamed the sales representative's circumstances for the delay and did not take ownership of their lack of follow-up and business continuity. Ultimately, the installers were great when the material finally came in (a full month after the initial sales visit) and the sales rep was helpful but overall my experience with 50 floor was not a satisfactory experience and I will not recommend them.

the flooring is what we ordered. the installers worked very hard and did a good job. the 1/4 round was not correct. i understood from the installers that it was what the installation manager gave them to use. it was unstained wood and they were given a can of light stain to use. It was supposed to be a dark stain to match the floor. when we placed the order we were told that the trim would be from the same manufacturer as the flooring and would match. when i discovered they planned to use the light molding, i told them not to use it, it would look awful. the installers told me to go to lowes and get the correct trim. I ran down to lowes and bought the trim, it was $124. but they installed it and it looks great. I did not get a copy of the final reciept and called the following monday and the office said they would email it to me. A week has passed and nothing. I called the salesman to complain about not getting the mouldng we ordered and paid for. I sent him pictures, he didn't think it looked good either. He said he would talk his installation manager and sales manager and get back to me but nothing yet. We have two homes that need flooring and had planned to use 50 floor for these a few rooms at a time but we don't think it would be such a good idea now.

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for sharing your experience on using 50 Floor. We sincerely apologize to you regarding installing the correct 1/4 round for your installation. 50 Floor's normal procedure would be to install either one of two choices. These choices include either primed white 1/4 round or raw 1/4 round (stained to color coordinate). I apologize that you did not in the very beginning have the quarter round your sales representative explained you would have along with your receipt delayed to be emailed for your records.
