We were referred to them by our Home Warranty service . Our central vac was not working. They looked at it and said it was too old to get parts. They contacted the warranty company and got permission to put in a brand new unit. They handled everything with the Home Warranty people and it was seamless. Felt they went above and beyond to get our system up and running

Today they reviewed the operations of our systems. They hung our equipment. With each step, they modeled the procedure and then had my husband and I try for ourselves. They were personable and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this company! The system is very impressive.

Their installation crew were clearly experienced and professional and knew exactly what to do. They drilled holes for the inlets exactly where they had to be, no "test holes" with a minimum of debris. The crew was polite, courteous, knowledgeable and responded to all questions with detail and clarity. This is one great contractor, I would use them again and again...the best of the best.

The drive to Chapel Hill from Raleigh was well worth it. Even for warranty work,they were very service-oriented. In fact, they even told us how to check if the work would be covered by warranty which they didn't need to do.

We met Tom Proctor at two Home Shows in Raleigh. When we purchased our new home, we called him to install their system. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service and the price. We didn't need the wiring, only the Vac. Mr. Proctor came out to check what we had and gave us many options. We made our choice, and in a matter of days they had it all installed. The installation crew was wonderful. They showed us step by step what they were doing, and then showed us how to use it. The payment process was also a delight, they did not rush us to pay IMMEDIATELY like other companies do, we had to call them concerned that no deposit was made yet, and we already had our installation date. They assured us it was OK...... Other companies should learn how to run their business like they do!!!!!! If you need or want a central vacuum system in your home.....THIS is the company you should call!!!!!

They are excellent. They were very knowledgeable. The price was nothing out of line. It was a good price for what they had to do. With regard to price and professionalism, they were very good.

After having my bagless vacuum cleaner serviced the first time, when it needed servicing shortly thereafter, I decided to purchase a new vacuum cleaner. The technicians were very professional and helpful.

I brought in my old Kenmore canister vacuum for repair - the hose was torn and the plastic fittings were broken, interfering with the operation of the wand. I told them to call me if the replacement parts cost more than $100. I paid about $40 for the diagnosis which would be applied to the cost of repair, if applicable. They called my a day or two later and told me that the parts would cost much more than $100 and that with the age of the vacuum, they could not guarantee that it would be worth fixing...the motor works, but it is a 15+ year old motor and it would be a shame to replace all these parts, and then have the motor die. I agreed and decided to buy a new vacuum. I chose a sturdy model for less than $200 and the $40 I paid for the diagnosis applied to the cost of the new vacuum. I have bought two other vacuums from them previously - a light vac for wood floors and a hand vac for small messes. Their selection includes all the best models in a range of prices. They where great... they weren't the cheapest, but had the best products, best reviews and best warranties. There were two guys that did the installation, which took about 1 hour max (in our 2600 sqft house). Very professional and on-time.

I was greeted promptly when I approached the desk with my vacuum, and the staff member let me know up front that their ability to service LG vacuums is limited (no electronics servicing) because LG is more restrictive with its schematics than other brands are. When I agreed to let them check for non-electronic work only, she gave a full run-down of exactly what to expect. I was told to expect my vacuum by Saturday or the following Tuesday, and I got a call on Friday letting me know that it was ready. When I picked up the vacuum, I noticed that not only was it cleaned, but several of the lightly-worn parts (belts and bands) were completely replaced, and the rest looked showroom-worthy. I'm very happy with Vacuum Hospital.

We were told by the service man that our vac system had one of two motors burned out. Since the system was 17 years old we were advised that the second motor was likely on its way out as well. However, they were willing to give us a price to replace the burnt out motor vs replace the old unit with a new. In view of the age of the machine and the cost of the replacement motor, we asked them to replace the unit with a new one, which they did within a week in a timely manner. So far so good since then. While in our home they also performed a minor repair on one of the outlets without additional charge. They were unable to replace a worn out belt on the power head since they didn't have one on their truck and asked that we take it into their shop. I eventually did take the power head/wand into have it serviced. I paid for the part and they serviced it free since I had recently purchased the new unit. Happy to be up and running again.

Iwould highly rate them. I called them Monday morning and they were here by 11:30. They came right away. They are very friendly.

I called the place first and talked with a very nice man, who told me they are an authorized repair site for Dyson vacuum cleaners. He told me the approximate price, and I took my vacuum in for repair. He offered the extra service of having it cleaned, since I needed the cord replaced anyway, and I agreed. The work was completed in a short time, and I received a call, notifying me that it was ready. Everyone I spoke with there was very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

The part which was defective was replaced, and the repairman also cleaned the vacuum and replaced an old section of hose which was not working optimally. The repair was covered under Dyson's 5 year warranty. Now the vacuum works great again! I also spoke with Tom about new vacuum cleaners, and I was impressed with his overall knowledge and friendliness. I would definitely go back there again!

There are two kinds of Electrolux: old and good and new and bad. I got a new one! Very personable service. They knew what they were talking about. They offer a vacuum rental service while yours is in the shop.

This the second major repair that the Vacuum Cleaner Hospital has done for us. We are pleased with the service and their pricing has always been very competitive.

We purchased a refurbished, battery operated vacuum. We were originally looking for a brand new one but the salesman showed us refurbished ones that look brand new and work just as well, he saved us a lot of money! We originally asked for a Dirt Devil as well, based on a recommendation by a neighbor, but the salesman showed us better ones that were actually less expensive. They were very willing to work with us. We were very pleased with the service we received and the vacuum works great!

It's a local company and they're very reliable. The same individuals have owned the company for a number of years. I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.
