+ -1 moreIt was very expensive. I was not impressed. We were not a big for him because we didn't have an amazing amount of work to be done so he didn't take the time with us. We finally went with someone else. When Tom came in, he just threw us numbers then he left. He didn't explain much. There was no drawing or a written quote or anything like that. I called him and I think he was here a couple of days after. It was very unsatisfactory.
Description of Work: Tom Bogan Craftsman came to do a quote for carpentry work.

+ -1 moreTom was very professional. He came to our home to survey the room and get a better understanding of our needs. He asked good questions and made helpful suggestions about the entertainment center we wanted. He performed the work as agreed upon and took care of associated tasks (painting, clean up, etc). We were thrilled with the finished product and get many compliments from everyone who visits our home. The work was expensive but the quality was very high.
Description of Work: We hired Tom Bogan to design and build a custom entertainment center for our family room.

+ -1 moreAlthough we were not able to work with Tom, because of our short deadline, we were so impressed with his work that we would definitely want to work with him in the future.
Description of Work: While researching individuals who could remodel a wall of cabinets to house a large TV, we came across Tom Bogan's name and asked him for a bid. He came almost immediately, assessed the situation, and gave us a bid. Although we did not use him, because he was booked and could not meet our short deadline, we were impressed by his knowledge of his craft and the quality of his work as seen in photographs. As it turns out, the price he gave us for the project (that he could only get to a couple of months after our deadline) was the same as we paid to have it done immediately by someone without his level of expertise. I would therefore definitely want to work with him on any other bookcase projects we might have.

+ -1 moreTom was prompt in coming to our home to give an estimate. He provided excellent design suggestions and completed the work on schedule. We were thrilled with the finished product and got an even more beautiful cabinet than we had hoped for. Also, he took meticulous care to minimize the mess associated with installation. It was like he was never here, except for the beautiful and well-built cabinet that he built for us. When we have future woodworking needs, we will definitely call on Tom Bogan again.
Description of Work: Tom designed, built, and installed a custom entertainment center for our living room. Upon completing installation of the entertainment center Tom hooked up all the electronics and restored the surrounding drywall and trim to its original condition.
