They did a great job for us. Even followed up after the work was done to make sure all was STILL good.

Jeff made excellent recommendations and provided a remote humidity meter to monitor humidity. He submitted a bid to remediate the mold and seal the crawlspace and we have no doubt it would have solved our mold issues. However, we chose to keep the crawlspace vented for now and replace only the floor plastic and remove the mold. If we decide to seal the crawlspace at a later date we will not hesitate to contact the Mold Solutions Group again.

The inspector, perhaps the owner of Mold Solutions, was basically on time (we had a deluge that morning). I showed him the problem (the mold) and he took it from there. In less than 30 minutes he had assessed the problem.I have a mold problem, but not the kind of mold that is an urgent threat to one's health. He explained that the kind of mold I have is common to N.C. Triangle. He said he would recommend DIY rather than professional treatment; it would be cheaper and get same results. That's what I call honest. He told me what to purchase, including the type of dehumidifier. This is the kind of service I want when I call for service. Reasonably priced. Effective. Honest. Quality service. Because of this Mold solutions will be the first business I call if I have a mold problem in the future, and I will recommend them to anyone I know who has a mold problem. Now, I just need to actually follow Mold Solutions recommendations.

The process with The Mold Solutions Group was wonderful! The were able to do the work when we needed it, had excellent communication with us, and were prompt each day. They cleaned the area each day also. We were very impressed with their on-going communication and the quality they put into their work. They strive to make sure their customers are satisfied, and we definitely were!

Great. Not only was I relieved not to have a critical issue, he gave me a solid list of next steps to remediate the problem. While I hope never to have a problem that requires his company, his will be the first number I call.

Overall the service was what I asked for. Jeff was very professional and explained all the options high and low that we could do to address the mold issues in our crawl space. The company is good at follow up as well.

I liked that they were professional, prompt. I liked them overall. I thought they were pretty honest with me. I don't think they were trying to sell me things that I didn't' need. I would use them in the future.

I consulted the Mold Solutions Group for a complicated problem that in the end was not in their area of expertise. Jeff was prompt thoughtful and thorough as we worked through the possible etiology of the problem. I certainly would have used them if the conclusion indicated that they had a service they could provide to us. This was not the case.

Jeff was nice and seemed knowledgable. His suggestions made sense based on our talks with other contractors. The price was a bit higher than the others, however. We ultimately decided to go with a different vendor due to price and we ultimately made the decision that another vendors solution would be most effective.

Underfloor insulation was removed revealing a 15 by 15 foot water stained area in the sub flooring. My plumber was called to locate and repair the source of the water leak while Mold Solutions continued their remediation in other areas not impacted directly by the leak. The gravity-type water leak was located at the laundry room drain and repaired. Then mold was removed and retardant was sprayed onto exposed under-flooring and wooden joist. HVAC ducts were inspected and air ducts/joints sealed before new insulation was installed between floor joists. A 10 mil. plastic barrier was then laid covering the earthen floor in the crawlspace. Outside vents were sealed and a 70 pint dehumidifier was installed to control any recurring high humidity events. Landscaping was performed on two sides of the outside foundation to direct further moisture away from the foundation and crawlspace. NOTE... work had been interrupted on two occasions by severe winter weather, but the crew was able to reschedule the remaining task as soon as the weather cleared. The Mold Solutions Group has done a super job remediating the severe mold/dampness problem in my cramped crawlspace. They coordinated well with the other contractors and approached each task in a ?knowing, not learning? manner. I sensed immediately that the crew members knew what to do and had experience working together; an important indicator for me as to the quality of work that they were capable of doing. I am more than pleased with the high level of service and the bang for the buck... all pluses. Special thanks to Brian and his entire crew!

|These guys were great. They explained everything that had to be done thoroughly (with pictures taken under my house), answered numerous questions about the process and chemicals involved, etc. They showed up when promised and completed the work on the schedule we agreed to.

The mold remediation went very well and was done quickly in mid-September, along with the installation of the dehumidifier. MSG monitored the moisture in the crawl space for a couple of months and then hard piped the dehumidifier, installed the vapor barrier with 95% coverage, and installed the insulation. They came back to check on things at least once I believe and I think they will come back in the rainy months to make sure it's still staying dry down there. The work looked great and I feel much more comfortable now entering the rainiest seasons next Spring/Summer. I gave the price a "B" because it was a very expensive job and two other quotes from other contractors came back a little bit cheaper. However, I liked that MSG's quotes were clear and easy to understand (another contractor used way too much confusing 'insurance' language and we didn't even have insurance to cover it), the process was laid out very clearly for us and all of our questions were answered. I never felt like we were being taken advantage of. MSG did a great job and I would recommend them to others!

The water shut off valve, located in our downstairs closet, leaked. Due to the location, it was a while before we noticed it. We contacted Mold Solutions Group (MSG) when we noticed possible mold on the baseboard in the closet. Jeff came out and looked at it the closet and the crawlspace. He recommended removal and replacement of the compromised sheetrock and removal of the hardwood flooring in the closet. The following week, MSG performed the work including remediation of the joist and underside of the subfloor in the crawlspace. We were very pleased with their work.

They were highly professional. They were always on time and the quality of their work was excellent. There were three technicians working on the project and they completed the service in about four days.

They ran into difficulties because of the drainage. They are still working on the drainage to make sure the flooding does not happen again. As of this point I am satisfied with their work. Their responsiveness was extremely rapid.

I couldn't be more pleased with The Mold Solutions Group. They were responsive to my call and being new to the area and crawl spaces, they were willing to come and educate me. They arrived early in the morning to do the job and were able to complete it in one long day. They cleaned up the area before leaving. The men were pleasant and hard working. This was a great experience for us. When I first called to get an estimate, I got a call back the very same day! Rich, the owner, came over soon thereafter to speak with us about our crawlspace and develop an estimate. He was easy to speak with, listened well and was very detailed and professional in his approach. He took lots of pictures which he sent to us with the estimate and was available and willing to answer all our questions. It was nice to have such great responsiveness but without any pressure to make a decision. No hard sell here, just information provided quickly. We did get several other estimates. All of our estimates were fairly close to each other in price. We chose MSG because of their detailed estimate and thorough assessment of the work needed, and because Rich presented himself and his company as knowledgeable, easy to work with, a company that stands behind its work, AND their price was good! These folks stand behind their work with warantees that were better than the others we looked at. Once we made the decision to go with them, arrangements were made to do the work quickly. The crew arrived and worked long days to get the job done. They cleaned up each evening when they stopped for the day and were very polite while here working. They finished before I knew it. We are waiting for our beautiful new crawlspace (all that nasty mold and fungi gone) to completely dry out and then they'll be back to do the insulation installation. Assuming nothing unexpected happens in the final stages, I strongly recommend them and we will certainly use them again should be have the need. Thanks Rich.

Love these guys!!! I am extremely pleased with the services provided from the time that I scheduled the appointment to completion of services to final payment. Jeff visited my home within 72 hours from the time that I called to scheduled an inspection appointment whereas other companies informed me that they could not come to my home for 3-4 weeks. While Jeff was at my home, he provided a wealth of information about possible causes and solutions for the mold growth in my garage, shed, and crawlspace. Plus, he informed me about products that I could buy in the event that I wanted to fix the problems on my own and save money (who does this!!!!!) Also, he was willing to provide alternative options and quotes to help us stay within our budget rather than pushing his own agenda or trying to "sell" us on a specific plan. The piping for the dehumidifier for the garage and crawl space are situated so that they blend into the landscape rather than creating an eye sore. The crawl space is amazing!!! I am extremely happy that we decided to install the closed vapor barrier system. The air quality inside our house and in the crawl space no longer smells musty. My husband and I were able to enter our crawl space with no fear of running into rodents, crawling through stale water puddles, or having insulation rain on our heads. We actually hung out under the house and talked while enjoying the clean, moisture free space discussing how we could use this space for storage now. When it came time to pay, I asked Rich about moving the dehumidifier in the garage to a different location. Went EXTREMELY well. No issues to speak of here. I would highly recommend Mold Solutions Group to anyone that needs an inspection or needs mold remediation or preventative services. They do a great job and have the customers best interests in mind. I worked closely with Rich who kept me informed of their schedule and the various options they had. Rich was very busy with other jobs but we worked out a couple days to have the work performed. They will follow through with their work. The work is high quality for the right price. We had another contractor that needed to perform some plumbing work in the crawlspace. Their first comment was - "this is one of the nicest crawl spaces I have ever worked in. It's dry!

I got a very quick response to my initial call. Subsequent actions -- inspection, provision of an estimate, the work itself, and follow-up -- were performed promptly and when promised. We received quick and courteous responses to all of our questions. The estimate was accurate, and the costs seemed reasonable.
