The Glass Cleaners

I had a good experience with The Glass Cleaners. Dave was very knowledgeable about the scratched glass on a few of my windows. He also cleaned the skylights in our bathroom, which were really dirty, and they look great now. Dave was quick, thorough and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him.

It was fine. There's nothing special. He told me that his regular price would be twice that. They were very prompt. He did it just fine.

I wasn't completely satisfied. They cleaned the windows, but they used so much water because they were using our hose and we have expensive water. I thought they were going to take a bucket and climb up and do it.

I bought a $99 big deal for this service and it was very positive. One guy, the owner, came out and he was on time. He was very accommodating, did a great job and seemed like he wanted to please. He did a little extra. It seems like we wanted some extra windows cleaned so we paid extra, but he gave us a good deal for that. I think we paid an extra $150. He did a great job.

They were excellent. They cleaned all of the windows in the house for us.

I was surprised to see it was one guy show up at the house to clean such a large home but he did a good job. The job went quickly. We had not figured the pricing out correctly because I did not know he was going to clean my glass door and the little windows around it, that something I can do myself fairly easily. So with the addition of the windows that were not included and the glass in my doors the job ended up costing me a extra $100 that I hadnt planned on. I would say if we had in greater detail before the job was done this misunderstanding would not have taken place. My windows were sparkling and I was over all pleased. I would say to make sure the customer knows ahead of time that glass doors are included in the window count. That is my only complaint.

They were great and very helpful. They were on time and honest in what it cost and what I really needed and didn't need. They were very polite and would work with me in anything I needed and give me helpful advice. I would use them anytime they are great and did a great job and my windows and house look a whole lot better.

They came out on time, performed all the work as requested, and did not try to up-sell us for more than we wanted. Very professional, will use them again in the future.

The entire process from beginning to end could not have been better!! Fast response after the sale, on time, professional. Dave took the time to show me things that might need to be taken care of (broken seal on the window), how to do things, products to use. Personable the detailed. Cleaned the window tracks as removed some wasp nests. Just above and beyond what I paid for. Will certainly use "The Glass Cleaners" for all of our future window cleaning needs.

They cleaned 6 windows inside and all of the ones outside. They were good. I would use them again.

It went great. Dave was here when I had been told he would be and was personable and professional. He got one screen out for me that I had not been able to get out even though I had been told they would not remove screens. He also put it back in after he washed the window. And he gave me some tips on making window cleaning easier - I have a lot of interior glass panes. I was very happy when he left!

Better that could have expected. Scheduling the service was the most difficult part due to my time constraints, but Dave bent over backwards to get the job done- he agreed to come to my home at 6am! Dave and his helper were efficient, professional and friendly. I had purchased their Angie's List deal and it was totally worth it. I didn't think my windows were too bad but after getting them cleaned, I realize how dirty they were. So glad I purchased this deal.

Dave was a true professional from the first communication to the end of the job. He is intelligent, well-spoken and has high standards for his company's work. He is a person you feel good about having at your home. He used only water (from our outside faucet) and professional brushes with extensions to do the entire job -- no harsh or unnecessary chemicals. He was very respectful of our landscaping. When he saw we had a garden, he offered to wash the windows with rainwater if we collected it. He completed the job in a little over an hour. The result was the cleanest windows we've ever had. It was amazing how much better the whole house looked! Well worth the money!!

It went badly. The fine print on the deal said that window screens and storm windows were not included in the $99 deal "but may be cleaned for an additional charge." In email correspondence they mentioned screens and confirmed that there was an extra $2 charge per window for screens and that they were "no problem." They did not ask about or mention storms in their confirmation email so I wrongly assumed it was at least comparable -- I know storms are harder to maneuver than screens and should cost a little more. But I just didn't think they were that big a deal. Windows with screens and storms that go together are normal in the places I have lived previously -- NY City and Boston, where there are a lot of older buildings and they are routinely cleaned without issue. But when the guy from Glass Cleaners arrived he first said that the ad clearly stated that they NEVER did storm windows (wrong), that it was "impossible" to clean storm windows (also wrong) and that he guessed I would have to get a refund. When I questioned the impossibility of cleaning storms and emphasized that I had agreed to pay extra, he muttered that it would cost at least $20 extra per window -- interesting when the whole deal for up to 40 windows was only $99. I told him that if he didn't want to do my windows he should leave, but he just kept talking --not offering apologies, solutions or admitting any responsibility just kind of suggesting I was stupid. I got really angry and told him to get off my property. No work was done and I definitely would not recommend the Glass Cleaners to anyone else with an older home.

Provider communicated well, showed up on time, and advised best places to clean to maximize the value of the $99 special package I had purchased from AL. I had more windows, including skylights and windows in the attic dormer that needed cleaning, and they offered me a very reasonable rate to complete the extra windows. They worked quickly, efficiently and left my home looking beautiful. I will hire them again, and you should too! I can see clearly, now, thank you! : )

Dave's service was timely, professionally provided, and delivered as promised for the agreed price. Dave is friendly, and offered excellent suggestions for future window care. He did an excellent job. I would not hesitate using his services again or recommending him!

It went just fine. It was a good job! Not sure it was as good as the people before. He does it all from the ground and they used ladders. There were droplets on the bottom of some of the glass. He said they would go away and they didn't. So we will still have to try to get them ourselves. But it did do a much better job than I expected. He was just a few minutes late and easy to work with.

He arrived late but did a very good job cleaning the windows.
