Description of Work: I accidentally was using a reset key, which pretty much made my front door lock unusable. I emailed Peter, and he emailed me back right away. We then set up a time to meet. He was very pleasant and prompt, reassuring me that the problem was easily fixed. He also made two extra keys when he was finished. I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: I called MR. Gamble and left a message. In the meantime I had got a hold of Aegis Locksmith and scheduled an appointment. When Mr. Gamble called me back I explained that I was in a hurry and scheduled the other locksmith. A few hours before the other locksmith was to come he canceled and said he couldn't come for 4 days. I called Mr. Gamble back and left him a message. He returned my call, said he would gladly still do the job. Scheduled for 8:30 the next morning and was right on time. Re-keyed 5 locks, supplied more keys than asked for and was very reasonable.

 + -1 moreGreat Experience! Peter was prompt, professional, and very personable. He left us with six copies of our new keys, including two masters that are marked "Do Not Duplicate". We will definitely call Peter again and recommend him to our friends and associates should we require the services of a locksmith again in the future.
Description of Work: Front door dead bolt was replaced and back door dead bolt was re-keyed to match the same key profile.

 + -1 moreMr. Gamble came, as promised, within an hour of receiving my call. In addition to solving the current problems he offered an opinion on my deck door locks. He is both professional and very helpful.
Description of Work: Responded to emergency as key could not be removed from lock nor would it open the door. Repaired that lock and adjusted/realigned a second lock (which I had been unable to open), replacing a cylinder, so one key now fits both locks. Provided four extra keys.

There is no flashy truck or fancy uniform, just excellent service and high quality locks .I have had Peter help with my locksmith needs for over a decade. Just to add, he is a licensed locksmith.

 + -1 moreGreat! Put in a request through Angie's List contact form and received a phone call within 3 hours and scheduled an appointment within 2 days. Arrived promptly and was friendly and professional and got right to work. Rekeyed our locks and also found that our deadbolts had not been installed by the contractor correctly and fixed that so that the locks worked. Was a pleasure to work with. . .would definitely hire in the future.
Description of Work: Rekeyed our front and back door and cut 5 keys for us.
