It took a small amount of time to get someone to help me but eventually two workers showed up to load my fencing boards. The quality of the fence boards was excellent - no warped boards in the group. Took another trip to get the correct nails.

A total waste of time and energy. The sales clerks' and the management's indifference is stunning. How can they stay in business???

I time and professional

After purchasing shutters for one standard door to have more privacy, Lowe's scheduled a time to install the shutters. The installer was on time and did a great job installing the shutters. Total installation time was 45 minutes and the work was great. I would highly recommend Lowe's for the wide selection of blinds and shutters and the low price. The installation price was reasonable and the workmanship along with punctuality couldn't be better.

He corrected all the mistakes that was done by other guy and it is perfectly fine. In fact, another family from the retirement community wanted to put an fence and asked Lowe's that we want the job to be done only if they can send out this person who was able to finish the job.

It was a mixed bad experience. They had a provider sent out and I think he had some issues. What should have been done in 3 days took weeks and weeks and weeks. He kept on saying I have it done by the weekend. Finally I got annoyed and went to the head of Lowe's for this area and complained the issue and they finally sent a different contractor and he finished it in two days. I would advice Lowe's that if a sub contractor does not meet your expectations, make a fuss early on and change them.

I worked with Brandon Watkins in Kitchens to get a damaged freezer handle replaced on my LG fridge. He was very helpful, responsive, efficient, and an overall nice person. He even came out to install the new handle on his way into work. He might be singlehandedly restoring my faith in Lowes. Thanks Brandon!

They included a year's labor on installation. The charged an additional of about $30 for picking up the toilet and disposing it. I was very impressed with them.

Purchased a Samsung washer and dryer during the North Carolina energy star tax free holiday weekend. Lowes sales rep was very helpful explaining features, etc. When the items were delivered and Lowes delivery subcontractors were installing, we were informed that venting from the side of the dryer (an option that was part of our decision to select that model) was not available as it required additional parts which have to be special ordered. Went with standard installation expecting to go to store and order the parts. After dealing with multiple reps and managers, they concluded that they special parts have to ordered from outside the country from manufacturer. Lowes staff were very helpful identifying alternatives to the special ducting package and we ended up re-installing on our own, using solutions proposed by the sales rep-and the side vent has worked fine for 6 months. A week after delivery, at 9pm on Black Friday, we were back in Lowes and discovered that washer and dryer were both reduced in price by $200 each. Sought assistant manager, Barrett, who refunded full purchase price and re-sold the already delivered items at the current price. He had to charge tax on the dryer, but it was an excellent savings and extraordinary customer responsiveness. We also bought a new dishwasher that evening. We were hoping to bring it home ourselves but it didn't fit in our SUV. Barrett helped us try to load the DW, and when that failed, he arranged for free delivery. We found out later that no one had ever opted for the side vent so no one in Lowes organization had ever tried to order the side vent option package, but that after our experience they now know that it takes 8-10 weeks to get the side vent kit. After 20 years of the old washer dryer and 11 years of the old dishwasher, we're still getting used to appliances that take away some of the decisionmaking and take longer to run cycles in exchange for energy and water savings, but the service from Lowes went above and beyond!

I haven't had any bad experience with Lowes. They have good prices and their people are always helpful. I haven't had any body come out to my house and customer service has handled anything that we are returning very easily. Their prices are reasonable especially when you compare them to other. I think sometimes the quality of the products suffers because they are giving me things at such a low price.

Horrible

I do most of my housewares and hardware shopping at Lowe's. They are very knowledgeable and have all the products that I want. The installer was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. He kept working while we were talking. It was a perfect installation.

They are very friendly. The helped me pick the right one.

Everthing happened as planed - absolutely no surprises. Am making some additional plumbing changes in the kitchen and will buy through Lowes and have installation arranged through Lowes.

They did a great job and we were very impressed. They even followed up afterwards and asked how they did. We were so pleased with everyone we worked with here, in the store and the ones that came to do installation. It was a pleasure to have them work for us and everything turned out so well.

We were not very pleased with the unit but Lowes was fine. They are very prompt.

They did a great job. The guy who installed the door was really good. I really liked him a lot. I paid around $11000 for a lot of doors. There were two sets of patio doors. It was a fair amount of money, but it was very fairly priced. I got bids from 5 other companies and Lowes was the cheapest. Theirs was the best bid. The guy that installed the doors really did a very good job. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. The only thing I would say is that he didn’t use waterproof screws. I think they thought that I would have handled it on my own, as it was not part of the contract. I thought they did a really great job; I just love the doors. They were the most responsive of anyone I had dealt with. The order somehow got a little mismanaged somewhere along the way; it was supposed to have been installed in November but for some reason Lowes was not able to locate it and it was not installed until January. That was the one bit of confusion in the whole process. They were really good and I was very impressed with them. You hear horror stories about getting things done through the big box stores and they did a really nice job.

Lowes subcontracted with another company. The floors were to be complete before we moved into our new home. We moved to CH from another state and needed to do the flooring before we moved in. The work was supposed to be completed May 20th and it was actually not completed until July 18th. The job itself was uneven. They also cut some of the bottom of our door frames to make room for the flooring but never filled the space in so we have 3 inch gaps between the floor and door frames. The pergo itself is uneven throughout the entire first floor and the quarter rounds stick out. We had them come and replace several quarter rounds and slabs of pergo, but we have now lived with these floors for almost 5 months and more uneven slabs are noticeable. Originally they "completed" the job with the kitchen, living room and dining room all at different levels, so when we walked into each room we would trip on the quarter rounds because of the difference in floor height. They were very difficult to get in touch with and narrow down a date to come and fix the mess they created. They also left the house a complete mess, nails, Pergo pieces and dust everywhere. The entire experience was unprofessional and I would NEVER use them again for anything!

I THOUGHT THIS PROJECT WOULD BREAK MY WALLET, BUT I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THE REASONABLE PRICE. MY FLOORS NOW LOOK AMAZING AND I'M ALSO HAPPY WITH WORKMANSHIP. THERE ARE NO ROUGH EDGES. THEY WERE DONE IN GREAT TIME.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON MY BLINDS. EVERYTHING LOOKS NICE AND STRAIGHT, AND THEY DIDN'T MAKE ANY EXTRA HOLES IN MY WOODWORK. I AM CERTAIN THAT I WOULD'VE MADE THEM LOOK TERRIBLE IF I'D TRIED TO DO IT MYSELF.
