Great, professional and would definitely hire again.

We selected Yow based on several recommendations. We had extremely difficult access and landscaping that we were very concerned about, and Yow was called out by a couple trusted sources as a surgeon with his equipment. Walter (son), not John was the sole point of contact and the equipment operator. From moment one, communication was non-existent. Multiple appointments were missed due to weather related backlog, which I get. So pick up the phone and let me know, eh? Sure, I'll just take another day off work to wait around on you to not show, again. I had to call him, every time. Also, we spoke at length about access and the landscaping, then he ran it all over and butchered many old-growth shrubs anyway (camellia, hellbore, azalea, mahonia, daphne). I found a lot of it chucked in the creekbed at the edge of the property, and he replanted several things wherever he felt like, not where we had discussed. Furthermore, when called to address some settling that had created a mudpit over the new tank, he had the audacity to suggest that I pick up a shovel and deal with it. I declined and he did finally send someone to correct it. Oh, and when I elected to take a standard net-30 approach to paying his invoice (not that it specified terms), I got a couple downright pushy and rude emails requesting immediate payment. I hesitated to come here with this, but found the last straw while working in the yard today...the initials "GY" carved into a tree on the property. Unacceptable.
