So far ok.

I enjoyed working with Ron and Elizabeth. They are very flexible, creative and pleasant to deal with. Elizabeth has a very sensitive approach to dealing with the existing plants (no old plant is thrown away or discarded...everything gets a new home). Ron does really lovely stone work and is very concientious in managing his crew. I am very happy with how the landings turned out around the steps. I was also pleased with the other workers they brought onsite. They had two very nice young men who did a lot of the heavy digging and moving of plants. They were polite and hardworking and nice to my dogs. I felt very comfortable with the crew coming to my house. They transformed a bunch of raw and ugly clay, rock and root into a lush and natural looking landscape. The project took a little longer than the original estimate, but the delays were not excessive. I am very happy with the final product and would work with them again.

They have very good creative ideas. They give good advice on the technical side. They are very good. They are punctual. They come on time. I would use them in the future.

Harmony Landscaping has worked with us on a series of projects over two years. After we added a porch and sidewalk, we engaged Ron and Liz to prepare a foundation landscape design. A sketch with suggested plants was discussed and modified to our satisfaction. Ron beautifully raised the yard grade to meet the new sidewalk and added a planter box on the opposite side to prevent organic material from abutting the wood siding. The box is quite shaded so it was planted with ferns and we add shade annuals for summer color. The plantings reflect the design and if you prefer uniformity the variety may be too much. Ron is flexible about changing but he makes purchases based on the design. Liz has brought in some lovely plants from their private garden that have done very well. The plantings remain a work in progress. We really appreciate the drip irrigation since it saves time and energy that would have to be devoted to sprinkling or can watering. Maintenance is required and Ron has been good about taking care of it. Ron has a very good understanding of drainage issues. He resolved a standing water issue in the front yard and in another spot attached and installed a french drain to a gutter end thereby draining roof-water away from the foundation. Last summer Ron and a co-worker removed the top layer of the weedy front yard, installed top soil and seeded for a new lawn. It just did not work. The yard is back to weeds. It may be the drought, the timing, the seed, the shade, the watering cycle. Who knows. We will try again. Overall we have been satisfied with the work done by Ron, Liz and co-workers. Ron is easy to work with and is full of good ideas for challenging areas. If we had one complaint it is that after things get started it seems to take too long to finish. This is probably because Ron gets so busy that he divides his time between several projects. We recommend Harmony Landscaping and will continue to use Ron ourselves.

It's a couple the runs the company, he does the planting and soil prep, she does the designing. They are both really easy to talk to and they have good ideas. If I prefer something different to what they suggested they are very flexible and responsive. They'll send me pictures ahead of time and if I say I don't like that they say no problem and find something else. We are going to use them more once the weather turns better. They have really good flexibility and can break the project up in parts if needed. We had a few estimates and they are right there with everyone else, I think you get more bang for your buck with them. They have been here every day and time they said they would be.

We bought a 16+ year old home whose prior owners did not do anythign with the landscaping. The yard was a wasteland of old, overgrown shrubs that were wasting away from lack of water and nutrients. Ron brought in yards of 'stuff' to plump up the beds, supplemented existing shrubbery and installed new plants. He designed and installed a beautiful stone wall to complement the end of the driveway, reaaly creating a beautiful entrance for our home. Ron is also very easy to work with. This is the 3d project he's done for us. Each time, i give him a budget and a rough idea of what i want, and then i set him free to draft a design. I believe he has a degree in horticulture [or maybe just a natural passion?], but he is so into his work. He and his wife have done a great job of sprucing up our yard... thanks Ron and Liz!

Our backyard was unusable prior to the drainage installation. It now drains quickly after even the largest of storms. The systems works great; good design and good implementation! The patio looks amazing. Ron did a great job with the design and installation. Ron can get busy in the spring, mostly due to the great work he does. His busy schedule and some unfortunately weather slowed our projects a bit from the original schedules. However, I feel he completed all the work in a reasonable amount of time, and the end result was amazing in both cases. We look forward to continuing our work with Ron on the completion of our back yard renovation!

They have been good.

Ron and Elizabeth did an incredible job of creating various planting areas, replacing old steps with a graceful, terraced stone path and steps, integrated with rocks, plants, etc. Ron also built out a rough-cut stone patio. Additionally, they planted shrubs and various plants around the yard, building up the beds, fertilizing, and spraying with 'deer away'. We gave Ron a lot of latitude in design and plant selection and we are very pleased with what he came up with.

Overall, the project went very well since it spanned over two seasons. Ron kept it within, in fact under, budget and I am happy with the choices that they made for plants. I had a general feel in mind, not any specific demands, and I was impressed with the way they created what I wanted. I love the choice of plants and am impressed how most have survived through the drought and unseasonal heat. They are very knowledgeable at what they do and very easy to work with.
