Chris inspected my new home and did radon testing last week. He's very professional, experienced, and reliable. I received the electronic copy of the report with pictures of the damaged areas (garage floor, door sealing, siding, etc) about 6 hours after the inspection. He even reinspected my home to check if the builder completed all repairs. I got greater peace of mind about new home purchase. Thanks Chris for everything! I would highly recommend him and plan to hire him in the future!

Chris did extremely thorough inspections on our two houses. He is professional and personable. He patiently answered every single question we had. Chris is honest and trustworthy. He provided us his honest opinions which helped us to make the best decision. We completely trust him as a person and trust his input as a home inspector. Chris is professional and extremely knowledgable (he is a designer and an architect as well!) he is happy to offer some house maintenance tips and advices, and he even wrote down the specific architectural terms for me so I could contact house maintenance contractor. It goes very well. Chris was an architect and a general contractor. Thus his knowledge on house construction are very broad. He is very meticulous and will not miss a single detail. This is in fact the second house inspection we have asked him to do because we are very satisfied with his work.

My husband and I had a feeling that it might be a good idea to hire somebody who would conduct a home inspection for our house. We bought it 6 years ago. At a time of purchase decided to trust our real estate agents recommendation of a home inspector. Our children were 4 years and 16 month old, we had just moved to the state two weeks before making an offer for our house purchase, my husband had been continuing working from a rented home. They want those real estate agents to provide them with clients in a future. So they might not want to 'scare' people describing all the problems of a house (especially main ones), because people might decide to keep looking for another house or try to get a better deal on a house. The deal may slip away meaning more work for the agent. The agent may never learn what were REAL costs of those houses to their buyers. Chris Russell conducted a thorough inspection, took time after the inspection and gave us a whole picture of issues in our house with explaining what should be priorities in eliminating them, he answered all our questions patiently. As many can guess there are many problems that we were not aware of just got a feeling after living in a house that something has to be wrong. Chris made pictures and included them in a detailed report which we received the next day after the inspection. We think that he is a very knowledgeable, professional inspector. We highly recommend him as a home inspector. Especially to those who live in the triangle area and want to support local business.

I found Dragonfly Services on the internet and checked them out on the BBB website. Chris is the owner and he was great at helping us in our process of purchasing our home. Best home inspector we have had during our buying and selling of 4 homes over the years. The report was by far the best I have seen as well - very easy to read, understand and quickly described the issues. He also was very helpful in suggesting methods on how/when to navigate getting some of the repairs completed. He also did our radon testing at the same time which saved us from having to contract with another firm for radon testing. I highly recommend them.
