The owner and his coworker responded quickly to our call. After completing the work, his wife, who does the scheduling, permits, etc., made sure we got the necessary inspection quickly. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, honest, helpful, and professional. We are glad to have found the company and definitely will call on them in the future.

Excellent work! Mike and another electrician from the company spent 10 hours here - other than a short break for lunch they worked continuously to resolve some of the electrical mysteries of this 50+ year old house. We were impressed with their expertise and professionalism.

They were fast to responsd via Angie's List message and phone to schedule an appointment. ... Our dead outlet turned out not to be a simple issue to resolve. But the technician worked quickly to troubleshoot and figure out the problem as quickly as possible. He ran through different scenarios and went into the crawl space a couple of times and finally determined that the outlet in question had never actually been hooked up. He connected it, and cleaned up the minor mess he made. It took a little over an hour, but they only charged me for that initial hour.

I emailed them to see about doing some work. I told him that my outlets in the garage were not working. That is where my freezer and outdoor refrigerator are located. He told me to look for some GFCI's they may have tripped. He was absolutely correct. He did not have to that, when the time arises that I need an electrician or a friend needs one, you can be certain I will use and recommend Creative Electric of North Carolina. THANK YOU!!

They had prompt replies and flexible scheduling, were on-time (early even), and think outside the [receptacle] box in solving problems. Service with integrity. When I sent an on-line email inquiry about some light bulb problems, I heard back within a few hours and was in email conversation with Lisa about details and possible solutions. She had me send photos of sockets, receptacles, bulbs, and then replied immediately with exact specifications of what was needed. She diagnosed most of the problems for me before I had even committed to hire them to do the work. I liked that! And... she sent links to products so I could pick up [the right] supplies and have them on hand when they came to do the work. In three of the cases, that was all I needed, and ended up doing the fixes myself. Scheduling was easy with CreativElectric. They are clearly a very busy and popular company. But Lisa found several time-options within a week's span to schedule the work. Cornell showed up not just on time, but showed up early, which was greatly appreciated. And it was clear within a few minutes that he knew what he was doing--I wasn't going to have to find anyone else, this time. My punch list soon shrank to zero. In one case, with my haunted attic lights that would not turn off, Cornell came up with a solution that was a very practical short-cut which saved us all time and money and resulted in having every light back to functioning as efficiently as when they were new (the secret shall remain unpublished). The best: I had some funky little hat lights out on the deck that I had all but given up on--with weather and finicky light sockets, etc-- and uninspired electricians who would not/or could not be bothered to fix them. Turns out there was a control box under the decking that I had not a clue about, which was a key piece of the puzzle. Yay Cornell. I can't wait to sit outside tonight among the regalia of rope lights, wall sconces, dimmed deck lights, uplights, spot lights and those funky, now fully functional hat lights, and bathe in the light of the full moon and mood-enhanced lighting all around us.. Yay, Cornell. Yay, Lisa and Mike. And Yay CreativeElecric. You are TOPS. This was my first take with Angie's List as well... and now I've drunk the KoolAid.

The provider was not able to do the work because I live in a condo, but they responded quickly.

The electrician responded within an hour (the fastest response time I've ever experienced)of calling and was working on the problem soon after. The work was smooth but took 3 hours to complete. He was very thorough and professional. We've had no trouble with the lights and I am completely satisfied with the service.

The outlets and overhead light went out on Tuesday and after checking the circuit breakers I got on Angie's List and found Creative Electric had a $125 special that covered diagnosing the problem and an hour of repair work. Having read an article about a shortage of qualified electricians, I expected a bit of a hassle getting someone out to fix my problem. I bought the deal and got a message from Lisa Sanfilippo on Wednesday letting me know that Cornell had an opening on Friday morning. He arrived right on time and after explaining the situation, began his diagnostics. What he found was a loose [REALLY loose] common [white wire] in the circuit panel. It had loosened up over the years. Cornell not only tightened the loose connection but also checked and tightened all of the wires in the panel [a few other wires had started to loosen]. Cornell [and Lisa] are really great people. They are professional, competent, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly! I will definitely be calling Creative Electric for any electrical work needed in the future.

The owner was wonderful. He work like a detective and found the problem, it was in a three way switch that my late husband work on years ago .He put up with all my questions and my opinions what was wrong (of course I was wrong). Creative electric will be my go to company if I ever have any electric work done it the future.

Mike and his assistant, Cornell, did an excellent job, working efficiently and courteously and finishing promptly. I would definitely use them again.

Mike and Cornell are smart and knowledgable and work very well together as well as with the homeowner to create good solutions. Mike's technical knowledge of available options, both line and low voltage, is very extensive. The work on my projects was done in a neat, timely, and professional manner with minimum disruption to household activities.

These folks are terrific. Mike and his wife Lisa could not have been more helpful. They responded almost immediately, fitting me in between appointments. Found the problem with very professional and logical step by step analysis until the problem was discovered and repaired. Wonderful experience all around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

They said they are not licensed to work on town homes. I even called them before I purchased the deal. They were nice about it, but now I have to wait 7-10 days to get my money back. They just need to be more specific about what they can and cannot do.

Creative Electric is by far our absolute favorite company to set foot in our home. Ever. Seriously. I knew from the first email I received from Lisa that our search for a reputable, trustworthy electrician had come to an end. Lisa's communications are professional, knowledgable, prompt and accurate. She was able to understand our long list of varied needs and get us on Mike's schedule. She said that Mike and Cornell would arrive at 10:15, so I figured they'd be here at 10:30 or later because who ever arrives exactly at a seemingly almost random time, 10:15? Creative Electric does, apparently. So I was the one who was late when they promptly arrived. (sorry, guys...) Our work required a few separate visits from them and each visit went smoothly. Mike and Cornell filled our home with smiles and nice conversation, oh, and light, lots of light which is what we were looking for. They worked their way around hurdles our house presented and completed each job to our satisfaction. They were the perfect house guests in that they left the house in better condition than it was when they arrived. they always thoroughly cleaned up after their work. And the icing on the cake, the absolute best part, the thing that brings a tear to my eye: when they left after their final visit to our place, without a word to us, Mike fixed our front door on his way out. This door had never worked properly and we were constantly slamming it and jamming on the handle. We'd avoid using the front door because it was so difficult to open. THANK YOU Lisa, Mike and Cornell, you guys are incredible and we look forward to working with you again someday. Here are some highlights: -They run the business like a business, because don't we all expect professional and prompt service? -Through several visits and changes to our to-do list, Lisa and Mike billed us 100% correctly. -Flexible. I liked Mike's suggestions and he gave us options on lighting. He temporarily installed 2 different types of recessed lights in one room and gave us a couple days living with both types to decide which we wanted. -Knowledgable, competent. Mike spaced out the recessed lights perfectly with no input from us. He understands the impact that lighting placement has in each type of room where it's being installed/used. -Trustworthy. Sometimes you just know when it's okay to leave certain people alone in your home. -Pleasant and professional. Mike & Cornell are a pleasure to be around, they work very hard and are of good humor. -Wish everybody ran their business like this. I am sure I left out many other details and positive qualities but you can gather from all this that we have no complaints and highly recommend CreativElectric!

This review is long overdue, as the work was done in the spring. Mike and Lisa are fantastic to work with. Our outdoor lighting system was originally installed by a company that was VERY expensive to deal with, so we wanted to avoid them. Mike tracked down a supplier for the parts, (several!), helped us get them ordered, and returned to do all the work at a very reasonable rate. He also saved us a lot of money by fixing another outdoor lamp and again, finding the right replacement parts at low cost. Lisa is super helpful with scheduling and is downright fun to talk to over the phone. A great family business. Will definitely rely on them in the future!

I had a home inspection done several years ago in anticipation of selling my home. I never got around to working on the items as I was busy. I found Mike on Angie's List and we set a time to come. He arrived on-time, kept things neat and clean and worked steadily for several hours never rushing to get to the next job. He made me feel that I was the most important person. We talked throughout his time here and he helped me to understand different items and codes. When he left everything was completed and some of the items were actually better than I had asked him to do. I'm actually writing this two months after he was here. One item was acting up, no power to a backyard light. He came out, said he must not have checked the connection when he put the cover back on the box, fixed it and working perfectly at no charge. I would highly recommend Mike with CreativElectric!

It was fine. My husband was at home during the call. The electrician put in some can lights. We have a 3 story home that they worked on.

Everything went very well. Mike's wife Lisa runs the office and is exceedingly helpful with prompt response and keeping us apprised of any schedule changes. It was helpful of Mike to point out to us things he noticed about our electrical system, i.e. things that should or could be done in the future. He is to return to complete duct work on the fan.
