I bought two hours of service from the big deal. Serviceperson was responsive and completed the work efficiently and with care. I was very pleased with the service.

Our difficulties were mostly in getting the estimate and work scheduled. Communications were slow and often incomplete. Fortunately we were home when someone showed up unexpectedly for the estimate. To their benefit, they were understanding when we made a calendaring mistake & had to reschedule. I was put off by being told they would let us still use the coupon even though the use date had passed. I was surprised because we had been working with them to get this one project done for a while before the expiration date arrived and the early communication delays were due primarily to issues within their organization.

Mike arrived on time and worked for a solid 2 hours to find the issue. He was able to do some real good detective work and found that a receptacle that still worked was not passing the power forward. He replaced the receptacles and we were back in business.

Lisa (who answers the phone) is very pleasant and was able to get someone out the same day. The technician who came spent about 2 hours trying to diagnose the problem, but was unable to pinpoint the cause of the issue and fix the lights. He tested the fixtures and switches for safety and ensured us there was no safety or fire hazards. He was prompt, professional and polite. He did not charge for the visit because he didn't fix anything and referred me to call and make another appointment with the owner, Mike. I made another appointment, but I got a call from Lisa a few days later to reschedule. She was apologetic and since my issue was not emergent, I didn't mind. I had faith that Creative Electric's great Angie's List reviews would be spot on. When Mike arrived to assess the problem, (took about 45 minutes to diagnose) he walked me through the issues. He provided me with some very helpful info about my home's electrical, including things to be aware of for the future. The actual problem was able to be fixed by tightening some loose wiring behind a fixture. Again, Mike was helpful, explained things in a easy to understand way and I got an Angie's list discount! I would definitely use them again.

In one hour on day one, they installed customer-provided fluorescent light over kitchen sink and 2 light dimmer switches; then repaired a non-working phone outlet. In another hour, on a second day, the electrician checked various circuits we were worried about and provided and replaced one GF circuit interrupter and installed another to replace a non-GF switch in the circuit box. The electrician was prompt and professional, and the owner and Lisa in the office were very helpful. If possible, I would use them again (somewhat outside our geographic area, but their electrician who did the work lived nearby). Prompt, efficient and professional service provider.

It went very well! He showed up right when they promised he would. He explained to me why the old ceiling fan wasn't working well (was installed incorrectly) and what he was doing for a better installation. Not only was the work done well, he gave me expert advice on how to handle other electric needs in my home in the future.

Creative's performance was far above our expectations. Mike provided a line-by-line estimate, got the permit, bought all of the parts, performed the installations, and was ALWAYS responsive to our needs. Both Mike and his helper are First Class guys who wanted to perform the job promptly and CORRECTLY. And they did it in a professional and friendly manner. I have to make a special point about Mike's professionalism. Not only did he perform his obligations perfectly but he had to contend with the shortcomings and incompetence of other contractors. When progress came to a grinding halt because of a water leak created by the cabinet man, Mike had to work around this problem and did . . . with total patience. It is hard to write about how well things went when we had no bad electrical contractor experiences to compare to. Mike was Punctual, Focused, and Diligent. Further, there was never anything to clean up after he left and he stuck with the estimated price except when he completed one part of the job in less time that he charged us for. In that case, he adjusted the price. We recommend Creative Electric with great confidence.

The power outlet where my frig was getting power died over night. I had to run an extension cord from the kitchen into the dining area. I called CreativElectric and they were able to come out and fix the problem. Which wasn't just the outlet I thought but another one on the other side of the kitchen. John came out and took the time to show me what the issue was. He was friendly and very professional. Lisa,Mike and John are the best and I really wouldn't work with anyone else. Thanks!!

I was impressed with Chris's professionalism and knowledge. I ultimately chose another provider because of a cheaper price and personal recommendation from 2 friends, but I would be happy to use Creative in the future.

Creative Electris responded very quickly when we bought a $99 coupon. They followed up with a request for our requirements. I sent them photos of the problem. We scheduled an appointment. The electrician arrived on time and did the work efficiently and quickly. He was very helpful with further information. We would definitely use Creative Electric again.

We have a small laundry room and wanted to move the dryer to another short wall to allow more room to move in the laundry room. We struggled trying to find someone that would do a small job. The couple people who came out to give us quotes included work that my husband could easily have done and didn't break it out so we could choose the work we wanted done. We were getting quotes of $500 to $1000! We saw the Angie's List Big Deal for $99 for 2 hours of electrical work from Creative Electric. I called Lisa from Creative Electric to explain what I wanted done and she said it would be a perfect job for the $99 special. After I purchased the special, Lisa immediately emailed me and set up a time for John to come out and do the work within 2 days. John showed up - on time - moved our 220 line and explained to my husband what he was doing as he went along. Then John changed a light switch to an outlet for us. He still had time left and was gracious enough to help my husband lift a cabinet that needed to hang in our laundry room and it was too heavy for me to help with. John was helpful, polite, cleaned up and assured us that Creative Electric would be happy to assist us with a few other small jobs we have planned for the future. We we thrilled with the work that was done and Creative Electric is now our "go-to" company when we need electrical work done. Thanks so much!

Mike arrived at our agreed time. After discussing some future work I want an estimate on, he started on my list of jobs. He was careful not to damage any paint or sheetrock and he was thorough in cleaning up around each job.

We had a great experience. The job took two separate days. Both times, Mike and John were on time and completed the job in less time than they anticipated and, in the first case, significantly under budget. They were able to come up with a creative solution to the outlet problem in our garage that saved us about $100. Overall, they completed the job for less than 50% of another estimate that we received. They were friendly and courteous. They were attentive to trying not to wake up my two month old son while he was napping. They were happy to provide explanations and problem solve with me. I felt safe and confident having them in our home. In both cases, they were able to come within one day of when I called to schedule the appt (the first time within a few hours!!!). We would highly recommend them and definitely use them again.

It was an emergency, and the electrician came out quickly, fixed everything, and charged a fair rate. We were very pleased with their work.

I called and they were here in less than two hours because, it turns out, that they were three miles away. The work was a little bit more involved than what anyone had anticipated but they still gave me the quoted price and the Angie's List discount, so that was terrific. There are other things I need to have done and I plan to use them again.
