Description of Work: returned my call regarding non-working outlets. gave me suggestions on troubleshooting and offered to set an appointment if i still needed assistance. I have used Creative before for hanging high ceiling fans...they did excellent work. responsive, professional, skilled.

Description of Work: I used Creative Electric to hard wire a 220v heater in my garage as well as install a quad-receptacle GFCI outlet in the garage. This included installation of two new circuits into an existing panel. They gave me different options to run the wiring (in the walls or metal clad wiring on the surface) based on price. The work was done efficiently and neatly. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Removed track lighting in kitchen and replaced with recessed lighting. Second job included the installation of a new downdraft cooktop. This work also involved upgrading electrical wiring to accommodate new stovetop. Mike is very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He is also honest and professional.

Description of Work: Ran a wire and installed a microwave above our gas cooktop. Thes also wired and installed a work surface light under a kitchen cabinet. They were excellent and did exactly what I wanted.

Description of Work: They came out to give us a quote to change our breaker box from 150 to 200 amps, as recommended by the house inspector when we bought the house (built 1973). He took the door off the panel and thoroughly inspected the box. He said we did not need to make the change. It was in good shape and had enough room for more appliances. "I don't like to do unnecessary work" is how he put it. The other quotes were $1,100 and $3k. To be fair, we did not ask the others if we NEEDED to increase the amps, just for them to give us a quote for the work. We were surprised and so grateful for his honesty. We did get him to give us a quote for other electrical work. Use this company!

Description of Work: I needed to have a shed I built connected to my homes breaker box for power. I bought one of their Big Deals and I am happy I did. He was on time, very polite, willing to work with my situation and did excellent work. Even though I got a discounted price through the Big Deal he was great. I have already recommended him to a few others and will use him on my next project.

Description of Work: On their first visit to our home we had them install recessed can lighting in our den. We were very pleased with their work. They returned to install a pendant light above our game table. They do awesome work and are super friendly.

Description of Work: I was able to buy the Angie's List deal for $99. My husband and I just purchased our house and the microwave (over the stove) did not work. We purchased a new one and had it installed by Creative Electric. They removed the old one, installed the new one and placed the old one in the garage. I was very pleased with the professionalism and the service. I would highly recommend their services.

Description of Work: basically rewired a two switch so that i can use the switch and the associated dimmer from both sides. seems simple but i had someone else come and try and he was unable to figure it out. creative was friendly, respectful and professional. would be happy to use again.

Description of Work: I had 5 pendant lights hung in my kitchen. John did a fantastic job, making sure the lights were aligned perfectly and hanging exactly even, which took lots of patience. He was wonderful to work with, making sure I was totally satisfied before he left.I will definitely use Creative Electric for any future electric needs.

Description of Work: I bought a coupon for 2 hrs worth of service, planning on having my exterior path lights replaced. After asking me some questions, Mike said that I should first try replacing my compact flurescent bulbs with incandescent. That fixed our problems. Later I called and asked about his installing timers on some inside lights. He said he could do 4 in 2 hours, so we agreed on that. He came to check the locations to be sure he would order the correct parts. He was on time, polite and efficient. The parts needed were on back order, but I had to call him to find that out. Then they came in and we set an appointment for installation a week or two in the future. He called once and pushed that back a few more days. The day he came he was a couple of hours late. When I called to check, after waiting about 90 minutes, he apologized for having forgotten to call me to say he'd been behind all day and would be late. When he arrived, he did the work efficiently, showed us how to begin programming the timers and left. A couple of days later he emailed to be sure that all was well. I would call him again, because he struck me as professional, efficient and honest.

Description of Work: Got them through a Big Deal to replace a bunch of lights and a burned out bathroom fan. they were punctual, friendly, informative and answered several questions I had about other electrical work. I was totally satisfied. I would use them again for electrical work.

Description of Work: Wall switches. One of them had been on fire. The electrician thoroughly investigated the problem and completely fixed it. He took the time to show us the damage and explain what had happened. We are completely satisfied with their service.

Description of Work: My oven light burned out. I tried to replace it, but it broke in the socket and was difficult to remove. Also to attempt the removal of the light, I removed the oven door. In addition to needing the light bulb replaced, I needed the oven door installed properly. Mike took care of both tasks in about 15-20 minutes. Since my house is on he market, having this taken care of right away was necessary and he had to work around my crazy schedule with house showings. He showed he was flexible and understanding and responded right away and took care of the problems. I appreciated that a lot. I contacted two other electricians and have not heard from them as yet.

Description of Work: Installed over-the-range microwave. Had to also install dedicated circuit, relocate a kitchen cabinet, and cut a new external vent port. Arrived promptly at appointed time to give me an estimate, thoroughly thought through the job, and completed everything, including making sure the microwave vented outside and remounting the cabinet. Kitchen was spic and span after he finished. Compared to my other estimates, he was the only guy who could give me one-stop shopping so that I didn't have to get someone else to do the non-electrical work. I'm very happy with the service.
