COLLINS MOUNTAIN GRADING

Mike was just amazing. The amount and quality of work he performed was incredible. His rates are very fair and generous. He made sure he knew where the utilities were located before he started the work. He was on-time and worked efficiently. Shortly after he finished the grading, there was a downpour. He was careful not to cause ruts with his equipment. He removed several trees - cutting some and pulling others. I live in the woods and had him leave them in a wooded area. He made sure they were completely away from the driveway and parking area, and even cleaned up some that I had cut down the previous year. He didn't think I needed additional gravel, and he was right. My driveway looks great, no more potholes, and the trees overhanging the entrance are gone - and won't be back.

They didn't have the service I wanted but they were very punctual and helped me get the job done.

Mike is incredibly communicative. He wrote back immediately and stayed in constant contact through email, and he came out to give us an estimate quickly. He also was honest and had no interest in up-selling. In fact, he advised against a couple of things we wanted to do that would've added to our cost but he thought wouldn't be best for our driveway. He's a small operation and tries to fit jobs into his schedule the way that works best for him, which they all do, but he was very upfront and open about it.

Left a message for Mike Resnick, the owner, with his wife. He called us back that evening, came by to look at the job the next day and was able to do the work the same week. His estimate re. time and price for the job were exactly as he said they would be. He and his employee did a great job. Very conscientious. Also very punctual and reliable (not a usual trait of contractors). Very impressed. We were very happy from beginning to end. Will definitely hire him again for any future grading or gravel work.

Mike and Ken did a great job on our driveway. They graded it and modified the slope to eliminate some annoying drainage problems and installed 36 tons of new gravel. I contacted them on Saturday and they were able to do the work on Monday. Our driveway was in really bad shape and hadn't been maintained in years, it was a muddy mess and looked terrible. Now it looks great and stays dry. Mike also made some modifications to the shape of the driveway to make it more functional and removed some large pieces of concrete that had been dumped. We are very happy with the way it turned out and they gave us a great price. I would highly reccommend them.

Heavy rains since this event showed that the grading worked as planned. We are delighted and relieved! Mike was a pleasure to work with, and he works very hard to keep the price point down. We're 100% satisfied with the work.

Mike did a great job. He was pleasant, easy to work with, responsive, gave us good ideas for how to address our driveway issues in an economical (yet durable) way; best of all, he helped us solve the overall drainage issues that were the underlying cause of our driveway erosion. We're very pleased and hope we have an opportunity to hire him again - although he did such a good job on our driveway that we probably won't need him for that kind of work anytime soon!

Mike Resnik looked at our driveway to assess what it needed. He arrived as scheduled and smoothed out the rough spots and moved stones into the potholes. He also designed and dug a ditch across the drive for water runoff so as to decrease erosion. He also took down a tree that had been hit by vehicles before. Mike was able to knock it down (and cut it up) with no damage to surrounding trees.
