+ -1 moreEllen LeBlanc is a very good interior decorator. We were very pleased with her work in our previous home. We couldn't afford to re-do everything at once, so she broke it down into smaller jobs. It was an ongoing process. For instance we would have the kitchen, living room, and dining room repainted. (The new colors made a big impact! We never would have chosen them on our own, but they turned out great!) Then she would work on the furniture arrangement in a particular room. We were tight on space, since it was just a two bedroom house, but she would design a particular section, and would keep it in our price range for that particular job. Ellen found the labor and made all the arrangements. She just pulled everything together. Not only did it look good, but it also reflected our personal taste and what we enjoyed. To make the process easier, we ended up giving her our house key to use. She would come do what she needed to do on certain prearranged days, then we would come home from work and be amazed at the transformation!
Description of Work: We used the services of Du'over Interiors a year ago. She helped us choose paint colors for our kitchen, living room, dining room, and one of the bathrooms. We had a very strange layout in the house, and she helped us find a better furniture arrangement. Ellen essentially helped us combine two households: I had furniture, my husband had furniture, and we needed to find a way to blend it all together. We were having a hard time arranging the furniture, and Ellen was able to recreate and improve the layout. The floor plan of the house stayed the same, but she was able to find a way to rearrange the furniture so the traffic flow of our house became much nicer. She re-did our large hall closet to better organize our things, and had a bookcase made for our living room. Overall she helped us choose things to decorate with, hang pictures, and pick the best from the items we already had.
