We first have to say we were extremely fortunate to have found Dwight! He has done work for friends of ours and when we were saying we needed to find someone to remodel our bathroom and kitchen they spoke very highly of his services. He is highly sought after in this area. He owns Brevard kitchen and bath as well as the designer. And also has a One Stop handyman service. And after talking with him we learned he recently took on Hydro Clean pressure washing this past summer. That's one busy fella lol. We confirmed an appointment with him for 2 weeks from the time we talked and the morning of the appointment he gave us a courtesy call confirming our appointment. Then soon after a handsome man was at my door. He spent almost 2 hours with us asking questions that we didn't even think of ourselves. Came up with great ideas and was very knowledgeable.3 days later calls to see if he may stop by that afternoon to show us the estimate. He not only had the estimate but in the other arm he had a 3D model he made of our bathroom and kitchen he made himself! It was the neatest thing! We were impressed with what he had designed and the cost was in our budget. We had seen a bad review but, after talking to our friends and his references decided it was a bogus review. The contract he wrote was detailed and stated the start time and estimated length. He had a 4 man crew and showed up everyday until the entire project was complete. The work was totally what we expected from him. I will definitely refer him to a friend.

The project began on schedule but took a month to complete instead of the two weeks extimated. Some of the grout and adhesives didn't dry very quickly so some delay was understandable. Later, however he would not show up when expected. I would wait for him fruitlessly to at least contact me but wouldn't even reply to my inquiries or replied late with sarcasm. He had to repair the shower floor at one point because he stepped on it before drying. After a quick fix and completing the project he instructed me to wait one week for everything to dry before using. I paid him in full and waited the week. At that point I realized 2 very major issues. The shower floor that was supposedly repaired was still not draining completely because of the same area being too low. It would leave quite a bit of water. The other issue was that the sliding shower doors were not installed correctly and only had one door that could move. Getting in was no problem, but there was no way to get out without difficulty. After three cays of contacting him without a reply he finally told me that they were easy fixes and don't worry about it. He purchased furniture coasters, adhesive, and grout to be able to prop up the floor and instead of installing the door correctly he planned to remove tile on the shower side so the second door could move. After spending a lot of time and money I told him that unless it was done properly I wasn't interested. He told me that anything different was on me. If this had been a matter of repairing an old bathroom shower I might have gone with it, but his idea to turn a new bathroom into a cheap mess is too much. I was willing to accept the unprofessional way he put up the ceiling and window trim, but this is too much!
Description of Work: The service requested was to demolish the existing bathroom and replace it with a Roman style shower and tile throughout the room.
