CAPE FEAR WATER GARDENS

We chose Drew to work on our pond project for the following reasons; 1. Very experienced and has been successfully established for some time. 2. His work can easily be seen at the New Hanover County Botanical Garden, as well as Hanover Center strip mall across from Independence Mall, in addition to other public sites. 3. He works with name brand Aquascape products(not homegrown collections of different systems) 4. He has a really good eye for the use and setting of larger boulders and rocks that really makes the water feature stand out. Drew worked with us to produce a pond design that fit the parameters of our lot. He and his team literally had the pond physically built in about 3 days. He then came back to hold school on us on how to use various chemicals and clean out the mechanical parts of the system. When we had a problem that fresh mulch caused our pond to turn red, he came out at not cost and cleaned out and re-filled the pond. Everything has been timely, and well supported, with no surprises. The pond and landscaping lighting he installed definitely enhanced the nighttime appearance of the water feature. He also does pondless water features if you want the benefits of a water feature, but not the maintenance of a pond.

Ok job on clean out We bought some other stuff from them that turned out to be way overpriced. shame on me for not being aware of fair price. Will never use them again

I paid for premium service because I wanted my pond cleaned at least every other week. They continue to miss not only weeks but sometimes a month at a time. Seem to be knowledgeable in the pond business. Last year when they did their yearly clean out, they said I had a leak and needed to replace my liner. (which would cost lots of $) I hired another company to check it out (this company does not do regular maintenance on ponds) and it ended up that they had placed my rocks back incorrectly and the pond was leaking from the rock placement and not the pond itself. I have asked for two seperate years now for them to plant some water plants in the pond, they never did honor that request, I finally went and bought some and did it myself. Not much choice in the wilmington area for coy pond maintenence service companies.

Did a decent job but the materials used must have been low quality because the water feature started to leak. We had to refill the water feature so much that we got fined by the city for using to much water. Wanted to charge us 1100.00 to do the repair on the water feature. The landscaper was horrible. The use of plants for the climate was not right.

They sent a man, almost on time, told me how long and how much per hour. Did really do what was expected, emptied pond, power washed the inside and rocks, refilled and lets. 5.5 hours and never touched the biofalls or cleaned them. Not a happy person and cost was just about $400.
