Tell what I want done and they do it. Sometime I have to tell them twice.

I had some brown spots in my yard and some weeds, nothing out of the ordinary. I contacted Trugreen lawn care to fix this. They came out and promised they could get my yard green. After paying $306 they came out and did several treatments. Sometime in August my grass turned brown and then died. I thought it would come back. I contacted them and they sent a tech to do another treatment. This only made it worse. I finally realized my grass was dead and contacted them again in December to talk to a supervisor. He said he would come out and never showed up or called. After countless phone calls he finally showed up in mid January. He tried to tell me on the phone that we didn't have enough rain this summer. In person he told me we had too much rain and it looks like I had a fungus. The mud/dead grass stops at my neighbor's property line. I don't think a fungus would know where to stop killing grass along a perfectly straight line. None of my neighbors have dead grass and no one in my 300+ home neighborhood has dead grass. Every time I go outside with my son to play, we have to wear old shoes because we have nothing but mud in our backyard. After 1 meeting and several phone calls they have refused to lay sod in my yard. I even told them I would do the work if they could just drop off the sod. They offered my money back. If my grass was the same as it was before they killed it, I would accept that. It will cost me $1500 or more to buy the yard not including labor. They have multiple unresolved complaints on the BBB, so I didn't even bother with that. I just want to be able to play ball with my son this summer without my shoes getting drenched in mud. It's is like taking your car in for an oil change and they break your transmission, I don't need the money back for an oil change when I need thousands of dollars for a new transmission.

Wasn't sure at first if they were as good in this area as Mosquito Joe, but seem to do an effective job. A+ rating on the other work they have done for us over last 30+ years.

They call before and after the service. I had that service in Florida and chose them when I moved here as well.

I would not recommend them. They were here a week before and did not do what they said that they did, so I raised hell with the manager, they were supposed to aerate and reseed. There were not any seeds in the ground or holes to aerate. I called back and they sent out another guy. He actually did it because I was standing out there with my side arm watching him. They finally did do what they were supposed to do the first time. We had them for about 12 years. Every year they come and supposedly aerate and reseed. After the second guy came out, this is the first year we’ve seen a significant amount of new grass come in. I first called the office and I was not pleased with the tone of the person I was talking to. They acted like they were not interested, so I demanded to speak with the manager. The manager called me back the next day, after talking with the manager and telling him the whole story he was all of a sudden very responsive. It was a 2 day process. I'm going to switch in the spring.

Expensive horrible service. Little improvement in 5 years. Will not respond to complaint filed with Consumer Protection. Considering further legal action.

I called Trugreen sometime around the end of March beginning of April 2016 thinking I would be able to schedule someone to come out and take a look at my lawn with me to tell me how they could best help. I quickly realized that the people answering the phone are there to get you to buy a service over the phone and they are not interested in consulting first. I went ahead and paid for a full year's services in advance for the discount. After a few months of seeing no real results I responded to an email requesting a review and let them know I was not happy with the services. Even after their applications I continued to pick weeds and didn't see any change in the health of my yard. They responded that if weeds were still present you have to call for reapplications. The weeds never went away. Knowing I was unhappy with the service, Trugreen continued to come out in 2017 to do three additional applications; now totaling $127 within 6 weeks. That's almost half of what a full year's worth of services cost me last year. So they continued to provide service with no results, but this time just charge me more. To this point I have still not seen any change in the condition of my yard and continue to pull weeds every weekend. I finally called and cancelled and they are still holding me liable for payments for services that seem to have done nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone for lawn care.

It went very well. There were no issues

I paid for both front and back yards to be treated. They only treated the front yard. Horrible customer service. I called them and only one person ever answered. She read me the same answer to each question, comment, or concern that I stated. I emailed, but TruGreen never answered.

I felt that it was very competitive and they will have a specialist come out and work with me. They actually gave me. The first treatment was actually less than that and they come back every 46 weeks for the treatment and also provided different treatment for fire ends and irrigation. They were able to look at my lot over the internet so they were able to provide a quote very quickly. I was impressed with what they could online of giving me a quote. They haven't come out yet to do it but I was impressed with what they were able to do online for the quote.

I really like Tru Green. Some of our shrubs were dying and they look absolutely wonderful now. I found out about them from a business associate who's shrubbery I admired. There's a huge difference with my yard. It looks much better than when another company was doing it. It's a huge improvement. The other company made the yard look really good, but none of the plants looked good, but now everything is starting to really look good. If you call them and tell them your yard needs a little bit more, they'll come back a second time, for free. If you don't think your yard looks good enough or it needs some extra service, they'll come back and do it a second time for free, which is really nice.
