They came to take measurements on time. Provided a reasonable. The work was done in two days. They even provided some of the components without charge needed to complete the work. They had suggestions on grout, picked up the necessary materials. It all went very well. The results are great.

The project was completed with amazing efficiency by good people, resulting in a beautiful product. We could not imagine our master bath looking better than it does now! We HIGHLY recommend Tom, Nancy, and crew at Tile with Style!

I was very pleased with the service of Tile with Style. The owners, Tom and Nancy Zaffarese were very helpful, and they were able to start on the project much sooner than I expected. Their price was competitive, and they finished sooner than I thought they would because they had 3 people working one day. The whole family has been in the tile business for 25 years, and they know their business well. I will definitely be calling them again.

Excellent experience and beautiful final product, both of which exceeded our expectations. The selection of materials and the design was painless thanks to the experience and knowledge of Nancy. After listening to what we envisioned, she efficiently guided us through the store's large inventory, presenting a reasonable number of options that would coordinate well with our style and the materials already present in the kitchen. We selected mexican porcelain subway tiles with several crushed glass square medallions to be used as accent pieces. Tom came out early the following week to give us an estimate, which we were happy with, so he scheduled us for the installation to be performed 9 days later. The day after the estimate, Tom called to inform us that the materials we selected were actually in stock, and they could move the installation up to Friday, if we preferred. Tom and two workers arrived on time and immediately got to work. They asked where they could set up their tile saw and sufficiently protected all surfaces. The crew worked efficiently, with the majority of the tile laying complete by lunchtime despite the numerous intricate cuts. A suggestion to "enhance" the design was presented that involved the need for two additional medallions, but the crew only had one extra on hand. I offered to run to the store to pick up another. They did not have any in stock, so Nancy resolved this issue by offering me a floor sample that was in perfect condition, and suggested I take a 2nd just in case. They did not charge me for either the additional tedious labor or the two medallions needed to complete this on-the-fly alteration. By 5pm the installation was complete, with grout, and they left the house as clean as it was upon their arrival, including the deck where the tile saw was used. Tom called later that evening to make sure my wife was happy with the finished product since she was not present for the decision to "enhance" the design. She was more than happy with the way it turned out, but was nonetheless appreciative of Tom's offer to remedy it if she had disapproved of the change. We scheduled a day for Tom to return early the following week to apply the sealant after the grout dried. Tom generously applied a coat of sealant to our granite countertops for free after inquiring how long it had been since their last sealing. Everyone we worked with from Tile with Style was nothing short of polite, pleasant, and professional, and their skill and craftsmanship is displayed in the final product, which we are extremely happy with, and feel was an excellent investment.

I had to make 2 trips out to their store to finally decide on my tsone (my fault). Once I picked it out I put down 50% so they could order the supplies. Once it came in they wanted to come the next day but that did not work for me-I need advanced notice to arrange dog care. then I didn't hear anything for awhile so I finally picked a date that was good for me (2 weeks in advance) and called them and set up the appointment. You need to realize that they are a small business so if you have a tight deadline you might want to get assurances in writing that they can do it. But for me it was no rush so they came when I asked and did a FANTASTIC job--I love it. They men were very nice, clean and professional-I was very comfortable having them in my house. They had enough supplies to do the entire kitchen in cluding some areas I hadn't been sure of--proabably a testament to the good job Tom did when he came out and measured. I hope to install new countertops and a tile bathroom floor in the next 2 years and will definitely use them again.

We had to have a new gas fireplace put in as our old one broke, and we needed a new tile surround to go with it (the old one had to be broken, and we didn't like it anyway). TWS came over, and took measurements They talked with us about what types of tile would look good in the room, Then we went to their showroom and they helped us pick out tile. They were nice to work with and it turned out looking fantastic, a huge improvement over what had been there before. We have more work to do in a bathroom upstairs and there is a 100% chance we will use them again. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on the price is that we did not get another quote, so I don't know if it was "great." I know that the tile we used was small and took 2 guys about 6.5 hours to install, and was very nice tile, so it seems reasonable.

Tom was thorough and professional throughout the entire process.He is aware of pleasing the customer and did quality work.

It went very well and they were always on top of the job. These guys know their stuff with a long family history of remodeling. I will use them again and they are the best deal for the money, half of what I would have paid Lowes and much better quality.

I went to Tile With Style after talking with another company about installing a tile kitchen floor at my house. There were a few issues I had with what type of subfloor would be the best to have tile installed on top of and what height the floor would ultimately turn out to be. I went into the store and was greeted kindly by the owners. It was around 4:30 in the afternoon and after talking with them about my floor, they offered to come over to take a look at it and do the measurements for an estimate. My husband and I were so pleased and impressed with the owner?s knowledge and experience with tiling kitchen floors. He gave us clear answers to all of our questions. (This was something the other company could not do). When they emailed us the estimate for our floor, it was fair and comparable to other estimates we had received. So, based on the information we gathered and a few other positive recommendations on this company, we hired them. We are so glad we chose Tile With Style to tile our kitchen floor. From the helpful guidance we received at the store, to the patience and kindness given to us throughout the process, we are very pleased with the results. Their team of workers, along with the owner?s close guidance, was careful and precise putting in the flooring. They paid special attention to all of the details and gave us a beautiful tiled kitchen floor! I would definitely recommend Tile with Style!

The overall experience was outstanding and I would not hesitate to use Tile with Style and Tom (owner, tile expert and primary expert behind the company) again. Tom and his team were extremely flexible and very easy to work with. The quality of Tom's work was top notch and I we couldn't be happier with the end product. The process started with meeting with about six companies to get estimates. We got recommendations from the web, friends and Angie's List. We liked what we heard best from Tile with Style and decided to go with them. They were the most flexible, easiest to work with and had a nice retail store close to the house which was a big bonus. We liked the fact that they had a retail shop and were invested in the local area. We met Nancy (Tom's wife) and Luisa (left the company) about 3-4 times to pick out the tile, vanity and other details. They were very helpful and never rushed along the process. We signed the contract with Luisa and provided a down payment so that they could order materials, etc. One of the strengths of Tile with Style, based on our experiences, is overall flexibility. (in addition to overall quality of work which is just outstanding!) At the last possible second we decided we wanted to make a fairly significant change to our plan. After Tom and his small crew (all of the crew members were great too) tore out my old tile, shower, etc... we called Tom that night and asked if we could make a change to the plan. We decided that we wanted to basically double the size of our shower including taking out a linen closet. The next morning Tom called me back and said he could do it for X cost. After thinking about it for about 15 minutes we decided to move forward with it. The extra cost included expediting some additional materials but Tom was happy to do it. We are pleased with new plan and thrilled that Tom and team were willing to make this last minute change! The bath remodel took about five weeks (including wait time of about 10 days for the new shower glass) and we couldn't be happier with the results. The bath looks amazing and it is a MAJOR upgrade over what we had and makes the overall house that much more desirable. Tom's workmanship was first class with incredible attention to detail. For example, all of the grout lines line-up perfectly from the area around the tub to the floor tile. Throughout the process Tom offered up minor options regarding how the tile could line-up the tile with window, etc. Tom was also very open to other minor suggestions that I had during the process as well. Tom was very easy to work with throughout the entire process. Another plus with Tile with Style is that they show-up when they say the will and the clean up after themselves. They are very neat and never leave a mess. Overall, if I could give Tile with Style an A+ then I would. Highly recommended and would definitely use them again which is probably the best endorsement you can give a company.

They had so many selections that depending on one of their employees were important to me. They led right to the passive and found exactly what I wanted at the price point I wanted. I would definitely recommend them to others. I have already recommended them to my friends and they have also felt the same as what I felt.

They are a husband-and-wife team. They did a beautiful job at a good price. The work was extremely good. We have no complaints. I contacted them for some more work that I wanted done, and I got a quote from them. I then tried to get in touch with them to discuss it. The first time I went to the store there was nobody there even though it was business hours. I waited and waited, but still nobody was there. Finally I spoke to a woman and got some samples. I went back and still nobody was there. I called to see if I could talk to them about the quote that they had given me. I got there when they said they would be there, but when I reached there nobody was to be seen. So I just gave up. It was a frustrating experience. Tile with Style Inc. is not a really professionally run organization.

They are amazing. They are easy to work with and very flexible. I could not say enough good things about them. We have had work done in our house and they are really good. I could not rate them high enough. We have been showing our bathroom to neighbors. They have done such a good job; we hope they go with them because they are so professional and good at what they do. They are great and very professional at how they work with other contractors.

We discovered water in our first floor office's light fixture, which we soon learned was the result of our upstairs master bath's faulty shower pan (vinyl liner beneath the tile, if you are unfamiliar with the term). We had Cary Plumbing come to determine the source of the water damage, which required having an approximate 1' x 2' hole cut into our office ceiling. The plumber verified the problem, which set in motion the search for a contractor to fix it. We received several estimates for having the shower pan replaced, reinstallation of tile, and repairing the drywall, and Tile With Style (TWS). Tom, to be specific, provided far and away the most detailed of the estimates we received. He described in great detail exactly how he would remove the existing tile, replace the shower pan, the multiple ways he would waterproof the shower, and offered his opinion as to "what he would do, if it were his shower stall." My wife and I particularly appreciated his advice, as this is the first time we've had to do anything like this - but it is what he does for a living - so his insight was very helpful. (we opted to have a corner seat included to make my wife's leg shaving easier, as well as a niche in the wall to hold shampoo/soaps, etc). Their showroom on Hwy 55 in Cary provided many options/choices of tile, and with a modest deposit - we were able to bring tile home so that we could get a good visual of color/style to match our existing tile. This sums up the "pre-work" interaction we had with TWS. When it came time for the actual work to begin, Tom and his colleague, Pedro, were right on time - each and every day. They were very thorough, clean, and polite. Tarps were laid from the entry door all the way into the upstairs master bath. They cleaned up every day (both inside and outside the house) - and left everything tidy and orderly. They removed the old tile and shower pan - and replaced it with new. It looks stunningly beautiful! Regarding the office, they put up a new piece of drywall to fill the hole, they taped/spackled, sanded and then repainted the entire office ceiling. Tom was kind enough to install our new light fixture as well.Tom had two subcontractors lined up: a plumber and a glass man for our shower door - and each of them arrived on the day they were scheduled and were right on time as well. Tom agreed to finish the grouting before we left for the beach, which meant he arrived on a Saturday! All in all, it was a wonderful experience. While I wish the shower pan had not failed - it was certainly great working with TWS! I would recommend them to everyone. Just so you know - we did get our insurance involved - and TWS was very helpful to provide a detailed, itemized list for the insurance adjustor.

We need our master bath completely remodeled. The Representative arrived on time, was patient with all my concerns, offered a lot of advice and direction. He really made me feel like, if hired, I could hand it right over and know it would be done with perfection to completion. We have not made a decision yet, we are waiting on two other meetings to decide, but this was an excellent experience so far. Quote is higher than some, but I do feel he would stick to it with any unknown costs already being included and accounted for.

The entire job went beautifully and the results were stunning! Tom was very thorough with his estimate, and Nancy and Louisa were very helpful with the design and selection of materials and components. It was a daunting task to select from many tile varieties, but they were patient in helping us to narrow our choices. Ultimately we feel that the colors and materials selected worked together superbly. Tom and his assistants and subcontractors were polite, clean, and respectful of our home. They took care to clean up after each day's work, and took further care to ensure the renovation dust, etc were limited to the bathroom area. Tom was open and responsive to a few mid-project changes, and that made a huge difference in the overall results and with the project experience. We felt that the project was completed as quickly as humanly possible, given the need to measure and order the glass enclosure after the tile installation. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. We continuously show it off to family, friends, and neighbors, and never fail to get glowing compliments. We're confident it will add significant value to our home.

Last year we remodeled our master bath. It is quite large, has Jacuzzi tub, shower, separate room for the commode and a double sink counter. We tiled everything, removed the old shower enclosure enlarged the space installed glass block walls and converted it to a walk-in. All fixtures and plumbing were replaced. Several wall sections were demolished and replaced, electrical wiring rerouted. It took about 6 weeks and costs over $16,000. It looks great. We used a contractor we had used in the past for many other jobs. They serve as a reference for us when assessing other projects. When it came time to remodel our kitchen we elected to consult Angie?s List to get some ideas and reviews of other contractors. That brought us to Tile with Style, TWS. Prior to visiting TWS we shopped around a little and got three estimates for our granite counter tops at other places. Compared to TWS, one was much lower, one about the same, and one a little higher. One-to-one comparisons are difficult as each vendor had slightly different procedures. We chose TWS because their reviews were generally positive and they would act a general contractor for the entire project, including the tile work. Also, we had an internet discount offering a 10% off for seniors. It looked good to us. Let me say at this point that we are in general happy with the end results. The kitchen, side counter, and bar area in another room all look great. Getting there was a little rocky. Our first TWS estimate came in at about $3000. At this point I mentioned the senior discount and presented a printout of the webpage. We were told that it was an old offer no longer in effect, but since we brought it up we would get 10% off materials. We changed a few things; the second estimate was about $4,000. A few more changes and the third was over $5000. We signed off and picked out our granite. My only request to TWS was ?I want no surprises?. The granite fabricators came out a few days later to measure and make a template of the old counter tops. Prior to that we discovered that sinks were not included with the counter tops (as they were with the competitors? estimates). We elected to purchase our own rather than go through the fabricator. Demolition and haul away of the old counter tops was included as was disconnecting existing fixtures and appliances, but reinstalling the existing appliances and making the hook-ups was not included in the last estimate. We made alternative arrangements for those actions too, thus eliminating and additional $1000 + charge. On one section of our counter-top is a large and heavy 3 piece tower cabinet. It had to removed and replaced to perform the required work. The cabinets were removed the day before the counter-top was to be installed. It was a two man job that took a couple hours. The fabricators arrived on the appointed day with a fairly large team and got right to work. In about 6 hours the counter-tops were installed and practically finished. One cutout was made on-site for a 30? cook-top with downdraft. That process took some time and produced a huge amount of stone dust that quickly spread throughout the house. Now, in the past we have had our wood floor sanded and know that construction dust is an unavoidable problem. It took us about three days to get it all out of our cabinets and adjoining rooms. That is not to say that the fabricator did not clean up after the job. They did. But the nature of this stuff is such that it gets everywhere. We did not expect them to empty all our cabinet and go to all the downstairs room to clean. Upon completion we inspected work. It looked great except for one seam that was very noticeable. We mentioned it the fabricators. They said it was about as good as it would get. The next day or so we began reassembling / installing the appliances and plumbing connections and found that one key component of the old faucet had gone missing. I called TWS and told them about it. They contacted the fabricator, who conducted a search of their stuff pulled from our house. I ordered the part online just to ensure no more time was lost. The next day I got a call from the fabricator to come get the part they found in their vacuum. No problem. Then the cabinet guys can back to reinstall the cabinet. They noticed the seam right away and said they would call the fabricator to fix it. Okay. A few hours later the cabinets are back in place and looking good. Unfortunately, with the cabinets installed it became obvious the granite was not cut correctly on one end. It was about one inch out of square. The cabinet installer did not notice or not mention it to us. But it was very obvious. When we did notice we elected to tell the fabricators who were due come out the next day to fix the seam. They came out, did a nice job on the seam but said there was nothing they could do to fix the granite. Not good. We called TWS and they said they would call the fabricator?s boss and have him come out. A day or so later two guys come out and spend three hours reworking the granite. Very little dust was left this time. It is acceptable. The granite looks good. Three days later the plumbing connection we ordered arrived by UPS. The only firm schedule for the tile installation was two weeks from completion of the granite. There was a chance of another job cancellation that would make it one week, but it didn?t happen. So, two weeks after granite is done tile work begins. It took about two days to complete and went off without a hitch. The tile looks great! So good in fact that we asked for matching outlet and switch covers. Tom picked them up the next day and installed them while completing the grouting. We are very happy with that aspect of the project. Overall, the job did not go smoothly, but worked out well in the end. Clearly the best part was the tiling ? after all it is ?Tile with Style?. Negatives came in a couple varieties: The granite fabricators in general and Project Management. As the customer, I do not want to deal with sub-contractors, only with the company I hired. Secondly, although we made a large number of changes as we went along I could not help but get the feeling we were getting ?nickeled and dimed? to death. Not honoring posted discounts and additional charges for some minor stuff did not sit well. That 10% off materials yielded about $16.00. Materials for the tile alone were over $600, and the granite about $2000. I asked about it when I presented my final check. The response I got was ?well I took something off?. Lastly, when the job was completed and paid for I was left with a considerable number of leftover tile pieces and some expensive edging and decors. I asked if I could return some of these as I would either never use them or had far too many to ever use for repairs. For reference, when my bathroom project was completed my contractor returned all but a few pieces for me without my asking. That final payment was over a month ago. We have yet to get a reply.

TwS was contacted for an estimate on kitchen remodel. An estimate from another company was provided to them for comparison. They came to our home and measured the kitchen, but still used the other company's measurements, even though they were advised that the other company never actually visited our home. The result was that some of the cabinets were the wrong size and not symetrical. TwS did reorder a new, corrected cabinet, but this took a couple of weeks. At first, we were told that we would be responsible for the additional cost, but through negotiation, TwS agreed to cover the cost. A couple of other cabinet items were ordered in the wrong size and had to be reordered, not enough light rail, etc., all of which added to the length of time of the project. We also chose the quiet close drawers, and a dark "wash" finish. Neither of those were part of the order. The quiet close drawer apparatus had to be added after the fact, and the cabinet doors had to be collected and sent out somewhere locally for the "wash" to be added. Don't know where they went, but not back to the factory. We were told that we would be responsible for these additional costs too, but again, through negotiation, TwS agreed to cover the cost. (They WERE trying to keep their customer happy.) We also ordered countertops through their subcontractor. There were several free edges offered by TwS, and we chose half-bullnose. This choice was made directly at TwS and also told to the subcontractor. Although the subcontractor was a great help in actually choosing a beautiful granite, somehow we ended up with an entirely different edge. The cabinets are beautiful and of a high quality (Diamond). The granite is also beautiful, although not at all the edge we ordered. We now have a beautiful kitchen, but the overall experience was very stressful, not only because of the time delays, but mainly because of the many confusions AND the blame game. Things started out fine, but then went south. I've read other folks comments about this company's tile jobs and that's why I chose them (they appear to be very good with tile). I honestly believe that I may have been their first, or perhaps one of their first, cabinet customers. They may have improved and gotten more experience in this area.

They were very personable. They gave me a lot of individual attention. They have a great selection of tiles. They give you a lot of personal attention. They are terrific. They really enjoy what they do and give you the best job. I would definitely use them in the future.

We had Tile with Style install a patterned tile backsplash and matching tile inlay for our kitchen/bar area. This was a completely painless process from visiting the showroom and getting samples to bring home, to the installation and cleanup. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing tile work. Louisa (hope I'm spelling her name right) was so great in helping us pick out some tiles to bring home and test in our own kitchen lighting. As many times as we came and went from the showroom she was always helpful and courteous. Tom did the installation and it is such a well done, professional job and everything looks just beautiful. The gentleman who did the grout work also did such a great job. We are very satisfied with the way things look, their professionalism and quality of their work. I will be calling them again when we replace the tile floor in our kitchen.

The bathroom turned out great. Nancy helped with tile colors and selection. Tom is a master with tile. Great job. I can't wait to have my Master bath remodeled.

Excellent quality, especially the ceramic tile installation. They helped us pick the tile, shower, and vanity. We picked the pluming fixtures, granite counter, and paint color. Responsive and friendly service. They managed the subcontractors, though we had to schedule time to be home for some of the work.Overall, very professional and courteous.
