pressure washing
+ -1 moreThe estimator was difficult to get in touch with but the estimate was a bit lower than the other one we got from another company. I was told they would arrive at 8:30am to start working. The first person didn't show up until 1:30 and didn't have any equipment with him. He was the painter/stainer, but they had not yet pressure washed the house or deck and, therefore, he couldn't begin to work. I described the horrible experience we had with the pressure washer in the work description. Even though we got our deposit back (10% of the total = $109.50), it couldn't make up for the hours of work we put into our vegetable garden which was now demolished.
Description of Work: Had contracted with The Painting Pros to pressure wash our house and deck; clean our gutters; paint shutters and front columns and woodwork; stain and seal deck. After arriving 6 hours late, one of the workers began to pressure wash our deck. After about 30 minutes, I looked outside to find our vegetable garden (which is next to the deck) broken and covered with specks of wood and whatever was used to pressure wash the deck. I went outside to confront the worker and he had left. Not only did he ruin our garden, but didn't even finish the job before leaving. Needless to say, this was the last I saw of them after calling and demanding our deposit back and insisted on terminating our contract.
