Very prompt, very professional, repair was done perfectly. I called on Friday and on Saturday, Mr. Reilly's crew came out, gave us a quote and fixed the hole. I was especially impressed with their promptness and the quality of the repair. I went up on the roof after they finished and I could not tell the exact spot the hole had been, the repair was so perfect.

My rental property needed painting and repair but I live in another city. Who could I trust long distance? Norm Reilly and his son answered the call after I found them on Angie's List. I emailed three painters and they were the first to respond. The price was comparable to the others but it was clear they had inspected the home more closely. My tenant reported this back to me, "The house painters have come and gone. They did a great job, were professional, cleaned up well and the house looks good!" They even found additional rot and repaired it free. What more can I say?!

As on previous jobs he has done for us, Norm Reilly and his crews were excellent. They tore down and removed our old deck, and rebuilt the deck as a screened in porch. The work included carpentry, painting and electrical work. Norm also obtained building permits for us. The entire job took about two weeks, and all the crews (carpenters, painters, electric) were punctual, hard working and professional. Norm stopped by most days to review the work with us, and to discuss any issues. Of course, as on any job, there were a few glitches (all minor in this case), but Norm quickly made adjustments and kept the project on track. Overall, from my point of view, an excellent, worry-free and reasonably priced job.

It took a little longer than expected for the work to be completed; however, the majority of the wait was for the inspections. The workers were courteous, punctual, and very professional. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the site.

Excellent. The gutters were grimly and had not been power washed in over three years. The workers power washed and scrubbed the gutters restoring them to their pristine condition.

Norm came over to give us an estimate which was similar and slightly cheaper than 2 other quotes I got. I decided to go with Norm based on Angie's list recommendations. His crews started on July 6th and finished on July 12th. The powerwash crew went first and did the house, decks, and gazebo. We saved the driveway, patios, and sidewalks until after the painting was finished which turned out to be a good idea. The two man carpenter crew did an excellent job on the outside repairs and demolition, so I asked them to do a couple of additional inside repairs, which were also accomplished quickly and professionally. The paint crew did the job very welll over a 3 day period, using their very tall ladders to get to some areas of the house more than 25 feet up. They first applied 50 year caulking to all windows and door frames, then painted with the 25 year Sherwin Williams Super Paint in the colors we selected. They taped where necessary, sprayed where appropriate, and hand brushed most of the job. The painting crew was very professional, responsive, and polite, and did an excellent job. All touchup and cleanup was done per our request. Overall result was beautiful. Finally a different powerwash crew came and washed, bleached and scrubbed the dirveway and patios, which now look like new. Only slight misunderstanding was there was an extra charge for this which I thought was included in the original quote. I agreed to pay the extra $325 for the service. I would use Norm again to coordinate a big job like this, because it saved me a lot of work. At the same time I highly recommend that you be at home during this type of project because often detail issues can come up that need to be resolved.

Mr. Reilly gave me an estimate the same day I first called. He scheduled work around my travel schedule. All work crews arrived promptly as agreed. Work was professionally done. Cleanup was exemplary with no trash or construction debris of any sort remaining at end of each day. We compromised on initial deposit, and the final payment was exactly as agreed. I could not be more satisfied with the final result as the exterior of this 46-year-old house is again as good as new.

Norm's crew did a fantastic job. They arrived every day at 8:15 AM. They worked dilligently. They were respectful and concerned with the quality of their work. I was impressed by a few of the workers because they commented on how much they liked working for Norm. Three mentioned that they had been working with Norm for nearly a decade. Norm gave us a clearly articulated quote. He came by a week or so before the work was to begin to make sure that everything was as we scheduled four months earlier. He arrived on day one to make sure the project got kicked off properly and called in every day to check on progress and our overall satisfaction with his crew. I plan to have Norm quote work for us next year as we progress other projects around our house. I highly recommend Norm!

Great experience. Norm is very attentive and keeps you well informed. They were able to make adjustments as needed. They did more than the minimum and went the "extra mile" and still honored the budget. The work crews were pleasant. Any mistakes were quickly corrected. We feel very good about the whole experience.

Second time I've had Norm do work. The craftsman that did the work was prompt and did excellent work.

I would definitely use them again. I had to have them come back because I wasn't entirely satisfied with the way the ceilings looked after the products they applied had dried. They were completely cooperative with coming back and they came back quickly. There was no additional charge to come back.

As he would find things that were wrong, he would bring them to my attention and fix them but not add on to the bill. I can't say enough good things about him. I had nothing but bad work until I found Angie's List. This is the first person I used from Angie's List and I couldn't be happier. With all the work, labor and materials, I was amazed he could stay in the estimate.

They arrived early and did everything as promised, consulting with me whenever they had questions about whether to proceed or not with something not included in the estimate. They were friendly and professional, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up after they were finished. Our home needs painting, and when we embark on that project, Reilly's will be our first stop.

Norm is quite simply the best! I have dealt with a great many handymen, carpenters and painters over many years at my current house, and none were more professional, thorough and competent than Norm Reilly and his crew. When it comes time for more painting or repairs on my house, Norm Reilly is the person I will call.

We spent about $3600 on that work. They were prompt from the beginning from returning our initial phone call and showed up when they said they would. They were very neat, professional and were a real joy to deal with. We never used a handyman service before and we were concerned about using one and about the quality of their work. The quality of their work and prices were good, and we would definitely use them again.

The work went very well! They were very cost effective in comparison to other companies I received estimates from. My only suggestion would be that they provide more materials to customers.

The quality was excellent. They were on time, did what they said they would do, and were responsive to questions and punch list items. The price was good, although it was matched by others. They could have done a little better on clean up. Overall, a quality job using top of the line products. I would use them again.

It went fine. The time he took to do the job was less than he had originally estimated. He thought it would be a four hour job, as oppose to the two that it took to complete the work, but the price was the same. For a larger job, I think that he would be a very good choice to go with.

I have used them for several things. They have, as of yesterday, started on my roof. They have painted the interior of my house and quite a few other things along the way and I have been happy with them. They have done pretty extensive work within the house. Of the 3 sections that I have had them work on, they have completed the remodeling and the re-painting and are now doing the roofing. So far I have been extremely happy with their price and their work. I have got other things for them to do. So far, they have not failed me yet.

Norm Reilly is a great person with which to do business. We had originally wanted someone to do a few odd repairs around the house but discovered that we had a lot of dry rotted wood. We discussed all that needed to be done and he gave a reasonable estimate. After the house was pressure-washed, however, it became clear that there were many more rotted areas than we thought. Norm only charged us half the cost of the extra work because he had missed these areas in his original inspection. The carpentry team was very good. Our small front porch had been designed poorly and much of it had rotted from water laying in flat areas above the columns. The carpenters adjusted the design to allow for better drainage without a costly total replacement of the porch. They even repaired a rotting area around our French doors on the deck. The paint job also looks great. I tried to match up the color to a neighbor's home and picked one that was golder than I had expected (I wanted a beige or tan color). They had sprayed half of the front of the house when I came home and didn't like the color. Norm then went to my neighbor's house with me and helped me choose the swatch that matched it better. I ate the cost of the wrong paint and they returned the next day to use the new color - a good compromise. I donated the extra paint to the Habitat for Humanity thrift shop. The job would have been done much sooner except that the company that I bought my vinyl shutters from (over the internet) kept messing up my order. It was over a month before I had all of my shutters and clips available to install. Norm waited patiently to finish my job. My house looks great and I plan to use his company again to do repairs around our home. Word of advice: be sure to have your siding caulked every year to avoid dry rot!!!! I'll call Norm next year to do ours! All looks great!

Very good experience overall. It was a good sized job, and for the amount of work done, the price was competitive. The additional charge to replace some rotting areas not noted in the original quote was reasonable, and the work was done well. There were a few minor items we needed them to come back and correct, which they did promptly and to our complete satisfaction. We would definitely consider Reilly's for future projects.

Reilly's crew arrived, did the work quickly. They replaced the fan motor, got it working properly, removed the rust from the fan hood and repainted it.
