When I called he came out the next day and explained what needed to be done in a very clear way( The hot water heaters were 16 years old and one was leaking). I mentioned to him that we had to wait a long time to get hot water upstairs and in the kitchen and showers. He explained how we could alleviate the problem and gave an estimate for both jobs. He returned a few days later and did everything the same day. The job was very neatly done and looked very professional. We now have instant hot water all over the house in the morning and evening when we need it the most.

We were very pleased with the quality of the services provided on such short notice. Clearly, he cares about the services he provides and sees committed to gaining repeat business of those he serves. We have talked with him about further plumbing replacement we hope to complete soon.

What a wonderful experience. Roman was in and out of my house for several hours to install a heater as well as move some pipes around that another plumber had installed. It was a rainy day and he was very considerate to take off shoes when going in and out--what a hassle! There was no mud in my house at all at the end of the day. He didn't leave until the job was complete--my children ALL had hot showers that evening. The water heater was installed on the back of our house. We had requested that he make it look good--he enclosed it and no hardware was showing--looks great! I also saw him out cleaning the house where he had done the installation. Roman was very prompt and what a sense of humor!! Hopefully I don't have any other plumbing issue, but if I do, I'll be calling Roman! When the Town came out to inspect, they guessed who did the work as the inspector said Roman was getting a great reputation for installing quality work. The inspector said he loved to inspect Roman's work--it made his job much easier!

It was Friday at 4:00pm when my son came into the house from the garage where our hot water heater is located. In an excited voice, he told me, "our hot water heater exploded." Sure enough, there was water everywhere. I had decided that when my old tank hot water heated went that I would go tankless. I called a couple plumbers. The first plumber told me that they could not install a tankless system until Monday. Then, I called R&S Plumbing. I spoke with Roman, the owner. I explained the situation and he came right over. He recommended a tankless hot water heater system and explained how it worked and its functions. We agreed on a model and he went and picked it up before the supply company closed. By 11:00pm, I had a fully operational tankless hot water heater. I have been told more than once that I am a perfectionist. Roman was completely friendly the whole time that he was installing the hot water heated and answered all of my questions. I was completely happy with the quality of his work. His price was hundreds of dollars less than the first quote that I received. Plus, no one in the family missed a shower. R&S Plumbing will be my only plumber.

I had reached my limit with large home improvement stores sending lows bid contractors to my home, so I called several plumbing companies and Roman (Owner) from R&S came out to help me correct a leak with a toilet valve then and went the extra mile by replacing the rusted mounting bolts in all three bathrooms. I asked him about the Tankless hot water heater and he was knowlegable and very detailed in his explination. Three days later Roman professionally installed our new water heater with a level of quality service that is amazing and rare in todays service industry. I am very picky and have high standards but when someone does this level of service they deserve to be recognized. So I took the time and $45 to join this program just to thank him for his service

Our water heater clunked out Monday morning and having a newborn and toddler in the house, hot water is quite important. We knew that we were in need of a new hot water heater since this one was 11 years old and there was a leak from a pipe right over the heater. Roman came highly recommended in the neighborhood that we live in and we decided to give him a call around 1pm. He told us that he would give us a call around 3pm that day because he had 2 other water heaters that he was replacing. As he stated, 3pm we got a call and he said he would come out to us by 4pm with a new water heater in tow. Sure enough, 4pm he comes. His professionalism was astounding and having experience owning a home and coming from a dad who was quite the handyman, I know good work when I see it. His work ethic was outstanding, enthusiasm was fantastic, he did excellent work and you can outright tell he knows what he is doing and talking about. His price is quite low compared to others we called prior to him and we are more than happy that we went with Roman. I am happy to say we now have a plumber we can call and trust with our plumbing needs. I will also highly recommend Roman to all who are in need of plumbing services. Roman also called the next day to follow-up with his work and make sure the heater was working (which it was - and fantastic at that!). And he also stated he will give us the follow-up on getting Town of Cary to come for the inspection. He also took our broken water heater. From the start, it was a very positive experience. Roman came by and assessed the situation that evening, even though our call came in around 5:00 PM. After providing several options, he agreed to come by promptly the next morning to begin work, giving us the opportunity to weigh the normal vs tank-less solutions he offered. He showed up promptly when he promised or called to indicate any needed changes due to changing priorities with other customer's emergencies. He stated that he preferred to distinguish his work by doing the extra touches that make the installation 'right' and not just 'complete'. The workmanship was top notch. Even the inspector commented on what a nice, neat and well done job it was. On top of it all, he was very friendly and personable. Definitely recommended.

I contacted Roman and he gave me a estimate over the phone based on my description of the work. He told me he would be able to come over the next day to do the work. When he got to my house I showed him the bathroom and and pointed out a few other things I wanted done. We then agreed apon the price based on the work and he got started. He had everything done in a couple hours. Roman's work is very professional and I am more than pleased with everything he did. He tends to work/talk fast, so sometimes it is hard to get a word in, but overall he did a great job at explaining the work and giving suggestions where needed. I am going to hire him back to do the finish work once I am ready.

We needed to replace a leaking water heater just before the holidays. We called a plumber and they suggested R & S plumbing. We received next day service and the job was well done.

Roman came to our house very promptly after placing the call. He not only replaced the disposal but also all the pipes under our sink (which ended up being a bigger job than originally anticipated.) It took him about an hour to do the work. He also gave me some tips on how to clean up the boards in my cabinet that had been soaked from the leak.

We had a gas, 50 gallon, direct vent water heater that was about 14 years old, started leaking from the bottom (which means it had to be replaced, no fix for one that old). We discovered the leak (wet garage floor) on early Monday morning, and since it wasn't gushing, we called around to several places for estimates - home improvement stores, local plumbers, and the local gas company too. In the end we decided to go with a Rinnai tankless, which was going to be expensive but people that have them say it's worth it. On Tuesday evening (30 minutes after I first called), Roman came out and looked over the old heater and setup, and gave a cost estimate that was lower than everyone else. We were able to schedule him to come do the work the next day when it was convenient for us, and he was right on time and ready to go. The old water heater was removed and hauled away, the new one installed and working in just a couple hours. He had to run some additional gas and water lines in the crawl space, and a couple other things to bring the system up to code, but those were expected.

Great. Roman was very professional and quick to get back to me when I called for an estimate. Set it up immediately. When I hired him, he was on time, efficient, cleaned up, called to follow-up and check to see how it was going. Very good!!

Several neighbors in our development experienced severe water damage when their hot water heaters failed. Our heater had signs of impending failure similar to what our neighbors had described. We decided that we wanted to get the heater out of the attic and get the more efficient Rinnai Tankless heater at the same time. We asked a large, well regarded plumbing company for a quote. A friend heard of our intentions and recommended that we try R & S Plumbing owned and run by a one man band named Roman Kaukereit. Roman showed up the same day we called and quoted a far lower price for the same job. His is a small company with low overhead but because he was so prompt, knowledgeable and engaging coupled with our friend's high recommendation; we decided to go with Roman. We made an appointment and two days later Roman arrived on time and did the complete job in less than a day. We are fully satisfied with our experience and have successfully recommended R&S Plumbing to others. We were especially pleased with Roman's work ethic, his directness, his professionalism and his enthusiasm. He's good.

Called in the morning after discovering hot water tank had broken (yr old). He told me to shut off water to limit damage. He had a job in the morning and said he would get with me by lunch time. He was at my home by noon time. He reviewed the situation in my attic and went and picked up new system along with a new piece of equipment needed by law in the town of Cary. Installed new system and took away old. Very happy with service especially since it was emergency and first time using R & S Plumbing.

WE PURCHASED A SECOND HOME IN SOUTHPORT WHICH WE INTENDED TO USE INTERMITTENLY THROUGH THE YEAR. WE DID NOT WANT TO PAY TO REHEAT HOT WATER EVERY TIME WE VISITED AND WE DID NOT LIKE HAVING A WATER TANK IN THE ATTIC. MR KAUKEREIT DID A COMPARATIVE COST ANALYSIS AND CONVINCED US THAT A RINNAI TANKLESS SYSTEM WOULD SAVE US MONEY IN THE LONG RUN AND PROVIDE ON DEMAND HOT WATER AS NEEDED. HE DID THE JOB IN ONE DAY, AND RETURNED TO MEET WITH THE GAS COMPANY WHEN WE WERE NOT ABLE TO BE PRESENT. HE COMMUNICATED WITH US THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS AND WE LIKED HIS BUSINESS LIKE MANNER. WE TRUSTED HIM BECAUSE HE DID NOT OVER SELL US, BUT TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM. WE HAVE HAD THE NEW TANKLESS SYSTEM IN PLACE WHEN WE RETURNED TO THIS SECOND HOME IN SEPTEMBER.

Roman was very responsive to our project requirements. He made numerous suggestions that improved the finished product. We performed the demolition of the existing bathroom and had removed the wall paper which left the wall board damaged to the extent that refinishing was not practical. Roman removed the existing vanity and detected mold caused by the heater/AC duct on the wall. He rerouted the duct and suggested removing all dry wall. He installed green board, sheet rock, taped and primed the bathroom. The shower pan, toilet, sink plumbing and fixture installation were performed in a very timely manner around the tiling, marble work and cabinetry.

Extremely pleased. Roman came in and told us what he needed to do, provided an estimate, and told us what the cabinet installer needed to do. Once he arrived, he was went about the installation without hesitation. He did run into an unanticipated problem and was able to fix it through the crawl space. He showed up on time and was very flexible in his scheduling.
