+ 0 moreIt want great, Joe the owner was very helpful with our color selection as we changed the house and house trim color. His team did a great job and they were very nice neighbours who moved in after our home was painted.
Description of Work: Our home was power washed and prepped for painting. The painting involved the entire house baing brush painted wl two coats of paint.

Description of Work: Joe gave me a detailed estimate and requested $400 materials deposit. I gave him a check. He never showed up and never returned my calls. When I reported him to the BBB, he offered to come back to do the job months after it had been finished by another company I hired. I had been recommended to Primary Painting by a very satisfied customer, but it turned out Joe's company was called "Primary Painting of Cary". The other company also called Primary Painting and was run by a former partner of Joe's. Joe was inconsistent and was unreliable so the partner bought him out. Then Joes started a new company with almost the same name to use the reputation that his partner had built up to swindle prospective clients. I found all of this out when I called to complain about Joe's behavior. I never got my $400 back. I don't know who gave him the good review listed. That was NOT my experience. I almost forgot about him until I saw his name on Angie's List. I'm still angry.

+ -1 moreI was thoroughly impressed from estimate to cleanup. Joe is a perfectionist and ensured that I had a thorough understanding of all aspects of the job. His attention to detail was amazing and his approach is to do things the right way, completely, the first time. Despite all of the extra focus and meticulous work (from the best pressure washing job I've seen to trim repair, re-caulking absolutely everything, removing downspouts to paint behind them to using top quality paint and using LOTS of it), his estimate was actually lower than the others I received. His crew was professional, courteous and hard working. They got the job done efficiently and did an OUTSTANDING job. I actually asked for a sign to be put in my yard for a few days to let my neighbors know who to use! Our house looks fantastic and the impact of a new paint job can't be overstated. Primary Painting of Cary made the experience a complete pleasure and I will recommend them to everyone. At least one of my neighbors used them immediately after my job was completed and I understand that several other families on my street have called for estimates. I'm so glad! It's easy to recommend someone you can trust that truly does a great job.
Description of Work: I called Primary Painting of Cary to get an estimate on painting the exterior of my home. Our house is 10 years old and is hardiplank sided. Like most spec built homes, minimal paint was originally used at construction, and we were overdue for a good paint job. We went with the same colors.
