We have hired him twice already. First was in our rental house and it was just an old circuit breaker that needed replacement. No problems since. This week, in our own home which is newer, the water heater circuit was tripping repeatedly. Nick fixed our home builder's error (one of many) on short notice at a very reasonable price. We have placed his card on our fuse box for any future need.

Everything was fantastic (and I'm ashamed that my review is so long overdue). Charles from NC Electrical provided a free, professional estimate on installing a new circuit and a 240v outlet for EV charging purposes. The price was exactly what I was expecting based on research, but I got so much more just the installation. Day of the install, Charles and his apprentice worked without complaint on a hot summer morning. They measured everything at least twice before acting, and as a result I had a very neat run of conduit run across the ceiling and walls of the garage to a perfectly placed outlet (my neighbour came over to express a mild bit of envy). They were done ahead of schedule with a minimum of fuss. Even the inspector had no trouble quickly approving the rough-in. And then the inspector failed the final, not because of the work done, but because of a technicality on my part that allowed him (but did not require him) to do so. Charles wasted no time stepping up and going to bat with the inspection board until he won their approval (and saved me from paying a re-inspection fee). The work was technically and functionally excellent, and everyone knew that. Having someone that knew the value of their own hard work and was unafraid to spend extra time advocating on my behalf was way more than I expected out of an electrical contractor. It does, however, speak to the integrity of the company. I will absolutely give NC Electrical Group first consideration on my next project.
Description of Work: Installed a Tesla / EV charging outlet (240v NEMA 14-50) on a new circuit in the garage.

Nick always does a great job, he is very efficient, and very reasonably priced as well. I have been happy with all the work he has done for me. Most recently he replaced a ceiling fan in my cathedral ceiling living room with a new model that included a light kit. He wired with a remote control which I didn't even know was an option and then mounted the remote on the wall for me. He also ran wiring from the garage to the outside garage walls so we could have sconce lighting next to the garage door. His price for this work was very reasonable, I recommend him to all my friends.
Description of Work: Nick has done several jobs for me including hanging a ceiling fan and installing a light in cathedral ceilings, wiring lights to flank the garage door, and fixing a wiring problem in my bedroom.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Their cost was part of the General Contractor's cost, so not really sure what their portion was. Whatever it was, it was worth it. Nick knows the codes inside and out, had great suggestions on locations of fixtures, switches, etc. He and his crew were efficient, AND NEAT. Nick is now the only electrical I will call in the future. Very trustworthy, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you're satisfied.Great experience!
Description of Work: Nick and his crew did all the electrical for our kitchen remodel. This included moving several existing fixtures and outlets, installing new outlets, can lights, pendant lights and a chandelier, oven, built-in microwave, 2 refrigerators, range, hood, dishwasher and disposal, in-cabinet lights, under-cabinet lighting and above cabinet lighting.
