Mr. Appliance of Cary

Went well. But had to wait a week for part to come in. Only real down side is the cost of repairing a dishwasher. It was not that old and we like it so not worht buying a new one.

Set up an appointment and then they sent an email to confirm. They called the night before and gave me a two hour window. On the day of service, they called when they were 30 minutes away. The repair man was very professional and explained everything well. They fixed the fridge easily.

Have used them several times and always been pleased with their work.

Appointment with Stan Brandon was very comforting as to time and who. Tech. called and arrived at appointed time, was very nice, covered shoes, diagnosed problem, went over what was needed, cost and when all was to be completed. Repair went well as scheduled.

I called the company and explained the problem I was having. The made an appointment for me on Monday 1/30. Once the appointment was made they sent an email with the confirmation and the name of the technician and a picture of them, so you would know who was coming out to your home. Once he arrived, my husband said he opened up the dryer and immediately saw what the problem was...it was the rollers. He didn't have any in stock but said he could have it in 2 days and come out to install. They charged a service fee for coming out...but if you let them complete the repair they will deduct the service charge. I had them come out on Wednesday to do the repair. The technician got here about 9:15 and he did the repair and was done in about 20 minutes. The dryer is working perfectly. I would definitely use Mr. Appliance of Cary again and recommend them to family and friends as well.

Company was responsive, provided good time windows. Technicians contacted us directly when arriving and to follow up. We felt we were given good priority with experienced technicians to solve the issue completely.

They came out twice for the same issue. Both techs were very prompt, personal, and courteous. Of course the first time a tech came out, my dishwasher did not leak. The second time, it leaked and the tech was able to fix the problem. I would definitely recommend them!

Everything went very well. He recommended that we not spent the money to have it repaired. It was done some time during the course of this year, but I couldn't tell you the month. It was earlier in the year because we had ended up buying a new refrigerator. and they were very helpful recommending which brands we should consider for a new refrigerator. He recommended that I no buy any of the Korean products, the LG or the Samsung just because as a repair company, they didn't have enough data, because the company had been in business long enough to know how reliable they refrigerators were going to be and their recommendations for the most reliable brands that they find from there service records was Whirlpool. It was very helpful. There was a service charge. I think it was about $79, somewhere in there.

Stanley looked up the part over the phone for me and helped me realize with the age(24yrs) of my stove I should just replace the stove instead of fixing it. I really appreciated the sound advice and Stanley made no money, but helped me make the right decision. If I need to hire someone the next time I need an appliance repair this is guy is the one. Anyone looking at this review...take this advice - Someone that is willing to do the right thing even when they won't make money off of it...is someone you want to do business with. Down the road when you need a repair you'll know the person is trustworthy.

Buddy was our technician who was awesome. He was professional, personable and friendly. Speedy service.

The repairman did a great job, my washer filled with water and would not drain. He ordered the part, then replaced it. The total job was about $250. I thought I was going to have to purchase a new machine!

Technician knew his stuff, very respectful and explained the problem and the repair as well as how the unit works for best efficiency.

They are on time, prompt, very professional, very reasonable price did really good job. They showed up when they are suppose to you could book online. very pleasant young man to work with and when they had questions about something they had a desk they could call back in and get a further opinion.

Really good service. Came out the day after call. Very competent young man who was able to correctly diagnosis the problem. Had to wait a week for parts, but the technician was very thorough on both the first and second visits.

Great job/communication. Price was fair. Samsung is not the easiest company to find repair people for. Very happy with job done. Had couple conversations with Stan the owner and he was fantastic. Repair tech was also top notch and on-time.

They arrived on time, and quickly determined the door sealed fine, the build up of ice was due to construction of the freezer itself (i.e. design flaw). It's a 2 door freezer and so it isn't your standard box with a door, there were extra pieces that apparently hadn't been properly sealed and air was getting through. But they offered to do a couple things that might help, but made no promises. We decided it would be cheaper to try what they suggested than to buy a new freezer. They sealed the gaps in the unit, and the "frost free" mechanism had frozen over so they defrosted the system and got it running properly again. They also removed all the built up ice and dried up all the melted ice, there was a lot of ice. It's been 3 months since they did the work and the ice problem is gone and shows no signs of coming back. They extended the life of this freezer and for that I'm very thankful. I love people who can think outside the box to find a solution.

The representative from Mr. Appliance of Cary was Mike. He showed up on time and was very professional. Our Kitchen Aid freezer had a leak that created a block of ice on the freezer floor. Mike was able to repair the leak and he cleaned up the block of ice out of our freezer. I explained to Mike that since replacing the water filter in our refrigerator, when pushing button for water, it made a loud screeching noise and water flow was very slow. Mike knew just what the problem was. He showed me the little piece of plastic that can break when changing the water filter. Mike said he could repair but would have to order the part. The part was ordered and a week later Mike returned and repaired the holder where the filter goes. I would use Mr. Appliance of Cary again. Our experience was very good. I was able to use our Angie's List coupon. The price for the repair was very reasonable.

I don't know if their prices are the lowest. But they are WELL worth the amount we paid to have them repair our dishwasher. The electronic gremlins decided to short out a relay in the dishwasher. I feared that when we let that smoke out, the smoke and mirrors of the dishwasher would never work correctly again. Fortunately, they were able to stuff it back into a new control interface board and fuse box. They also replaced the door seal. After 15 years of hard use, it needed some repair. But hopefully we will have another 10 years. While the repair might be pricey (the parts were expensive, not the labor), it sure was a lot less expensive than replacing the dishwasher. They were prompt, accurate and did a superb job with the repair. I honestly can't ask for anything further. I *will* do business with them again.

The technician arrived on time and was very professional. Samsung refrigerators were hard to fix and Mr. Appliance is one of the companies who does is. The technician provided estimate and applogize for the cost. We have to replace two cooling units because of the fridge design. The techinican fixed the dishwasher for only $40 (likely we had the part needed) the same day. It took a while for refrigerator units to come in but we were on vacation and had a spare fridge. Mr. Appliance called with update on parts and left a message offering to come and add more coolant if needed. Again, since we had a second fridge we did not need it. Overall, we are satisfied with the service. I hope the fridge and dishwashet will last.

Though I didn't have occasion to use them this time, they are obviously pros from an administrative standpoint and I like how they do business. Will definitely use them in the future.

Went great. Very professional, and quick. Diagnosed the problem during the first visit, and ordered the part. It was delivered within a week and they were in touch to install. Installation took about 30 minutes. Very good communication and would absolutely use them again for other repairs.

Side by side Refrigerator/Freezer was malfunctioning on the freezer side; would periodically fail to maintain temperature. Water valve to "water in door" had stuck open some time ago. Contacted Mr. Appliance via e-mail, the owner responded via e-mail and followed up with a phone call to learn more about the problem and confirm the appointment. Mike arrived about 20 min late (but called ahead to let me know he would be late - so no points lost on punctuality!). Took great care to protect the wood floors from himself and the refrigerator. Quickly diagnosed the problems (burned out relay on main control board, stuck water valve) and also noted that the coils needed cleaning and that the water hose was falling apart (11 year old Fridge). Provided an estimate and got right to work - had all parts needed on his truck. When work was complete he cleaned the work area, explained to me what he had done and what to expect over the next few hours as the Refrigerator/Freezer cooled back down. Also used a 5% off Angie's List Coupon. Very professional experience, will use again.
