Was able to get a quick estimate and work was started in approximately two weeks. The workers showed up as promised and did a great job, they cleaned up and I was given a final inspection, very happy with their work.

Arrived when expected, left the area neat and clean. Shutters that had been taken off two windows were put back, although that had not been requested. When I pointed that out, workers came back the next day and corrected the situation. The results were satisfactory.

sloppy work, had to revisit a couple times, doesnt look to go above and beyond and debatable if even made right. additionally pass on credit card fee to customer should u choose to use

Good. House was in bad shape and required significant extra preparation work but result was excellent.

Carmen did a fantastic job matching the new hardwood to the existing hardwood. The installation crew went above & beyond to get the floors level before installation and spent extra time focusing on the detail work. They got the job done well in a very time constrained window and I highly recommend the company.

Only complaint is that they initially said they would paid the shutters on the house, but then proceeded to remove/paint/reinstall them. This was one of the reasons we decided to go with their slightly higher estimate. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the work.

This is my first time painting the exterior of my house since the builder painted our new house over 7 years ago. I've used Metcalf before for interior painting. With that experience and seeing their work on a multitude of other homes in Sunset Oaks, I knew this was really the only choice for me. Mike Barbour and his crew were a pleasure to do business with. Mike was very thorough in his free estimate walkthrough. The quality of work and materials used were excellent. Crew was very hard working and professional, working in the hot sun and on 40'-50' ladders. A job you definitely would want to do yourself. We had them paint the house (which includes all siding, trim, doors, and shutters) and re-stain all of our porch decking. Mike also came back out about a week later (due to my scheduling conflicts) to do a walkthrough and final touch ups. Very pleased, and I'll be calling on Metcalf in the future (which may be a while for the exterior, as I'm sure my new paint job will last longer than the 7 years I stretched 2 years too long with the builder's paint).

At the end of the job I am extremely satisfied. It required two walk throughs to get all of the work completed to my satisfaction, but to their credit absolutely no money was expected until I was 100% satisfied. My only complaint was lack of communication. We didn't know what was being done when or when they would arrive, resulting in an occasional car being blocked by their truck, or when they painted the garage door and we tried to open it after the paint had dried but before they had cut the paint film and we had a problem. But I would use them again. They were not the cheapest of the 3 bids I got but all were within 15% and Metcalf had the best reviews. I'm glad I used them.

Very good. Large crew, very efficient and professional, conducted a walk through and was very detailed oriented. Good post-job cleanup.

Metcalf Painting and Interiors were wonderful to work with. From the free estimate to the completion of the job, they were extremely responsive and professional. They pressure washed and painted the exterior of my home. They also repaired a couple of areas of rot on exterior trim work. The crew was professional, courteous, prompt and had great attention to detail. They just completed the interior painting of my home. They painted every inch of the house including trim. They did an amazing job. My home looks brand new again. I would highly recommend Metcalf Painting and Interiors!

Excellent work, excellent crew and work ethic. We have used Metcalf for twice now and will only use them for painting in the future. We purchased a house with cathedral ceilings and hired them to remove ALL of the popcorn ceiling, patch and paint. The crew showed up early worked long days, 6 days a week to get it done. After, scheduling, I asked if they could paint the downstairs. Steven added it on, great price since the scaffolding and crew were already in place. This job, as with another job they had done a previous year, was perfect. Once the job is completed, Steven goes through with a punch list and checks everything. Both times the crew was dedicated and hard-working and given the size and difficulty of this last job, they started and completed a day earlier than estimated. Metcalf was not the least expense nor the most expensive. I've hired painters with the cheapest quote before and will never do it again. Metcalf takes pride in their work and aim to please. We are extremely happy with the ceiling and painting work they have done or us.

First class job from start to finish. Mike Barbour provided a detailed 4 page estimate, was always on time and responded to all my calls promptly. The crew was great. They did an outstanding job on both wood repairs and painting. They were always on time, professional , polite and pleasant. Worked their heads off in terrible heat. It was a big job, but everything turned out great and it was hassle free. Would recommend them in a heartbeat.

The repairs and painting were done to an excellent standard.

The job was completed in a timely manner, but the quality was lacking. Very long punch list at the end, including many things that should have been caught by someone other than the homeowner: paint on brick, paint on windows, spotty coverage, paint on driveway, shutters not rehung, etc. It seemed that their strategy was to do a quick and dirty job and then rely on the homeowner to point out all the places that needed remediation. Someone at Metcalf should have gone through and done a thorough quality check before asking the homeowner to go over everything we found. Cleanup after each day was mostly acceptable except for one day when many paint chips were left on the front porch. Even when we called this to Metcalf's attention nothing was done, so we had to clean it up ourselves.

We've used Metcalf for about 15 years now and always been pleased with their work. Their pricing is reasonable and they have always done a good job. This job was no exception. Scheduling for a quote and the job was quick and painless. The painters took about 2 days to get the work done and were very polite and neat in their work. They also made a couple of suggestions that helped enhance the final product. We are very pleased with the job and most certainly will use Metcalf again.

I have used Metcalf in the past and did not hesitate to call them again. They are friendly yet professional, prompt, and meticulous in painting and clean up. AND they do a great job! They are not the cheapest but, in this case, you truly get what you pay for. I would use them again, and would highly recommend!

The company was very professional to work with. They did an excellent job of prepping, cleanup, and painting.

I requested an estimate for removal of popcorn ceiling, painting of ceiling, painting of room and trim. The estimator arrived on time and viewed the room. He indicated he would provide an estimate later that day. After two days I had not received the estimate. I called the estimator to ask if he was still going to provide the estimate. He indicated he had not had a chance and informed me I would receive the estimate that day, which I did. A month passed and I called the estimator back to indicate I was ready to start work on the project. He said he would call me back to schedule the work. I never heard back.

This was the second time we used Metcalf Painting. We were a little concerned at first when we were mistakenly dropped from their schedule on the agreed date. Steven was very apologetic and we were put on the schedule a day later. The prep, painting and clean-up took three days. The painters were meticulous in doing their job. Everything was covered with either a tarp or plastic. The first day was spent primarily prepping the walls and making a few ceiling repairs. They repaired areas that weren't easily detectable by my wife and me. The final result is the walls look perfect after painting. The painters were very easy to work with. They were considerate and friendly and showed us how to make a couple repairs we could do ourselves. The following week Steven came for the final inspection with a supervisor and a painter. Steven inspected the job thoroughly and had the painter touch up a few areas. We are completely satisfied with the finished product and will use Metcalf in the future.

All of the outdoor work went without a hitch and the team did a great job of the repair and painting. The indoor work ran into a problem. The MBATH had previously been papered and was now painted. When the team did the wallboard repair and repainted, the paint started bubbling on the wall. The net is that after repairing the "bubbles" and repainting twice, the team went looking for a solution. The decided on priming the walls, tested several primers, selected the 1 they believed would work best and primed and successfully repainted the room. All of this within the original estimate, no additional charges, even though the issue with the bubbling was not a problem of their making. These guys exemplify customer service and satisfaction. They communicate often and effectively and are extremely professional in their approach, their demeanor, and their work. A great all around experience, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a competitively priced job.
