Response from Kelly Window & Door Inc
WE DID NOT TALK TO THE MEMBER REGISTERING THE COMPLAINT WHEN WE CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW WE WERE NOT OFFERING A BID. WE SPOKE TO THE MEMBER’S SPOUSE. WE EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT AFTER REVIEWING THE WORK THEY REQUESTED WE PRICE FOR THEM, WE FEEL IT IS NOT WITHIN THE SCOPE OF WORK WE GENERALLY PROVIDE, SO WE HAVE DECIDED TO NOT OFFER A PROPOSAL. HE SEEMED SATISFIED WITH THAT RESPONSE. ON OCCASION, WE LOOK AT WORK THAT IS CLOSELY RELATED TO THE SCOPE OF WORK WE GENERALLY PROVIDE. IF THERE IS MORE WORK THAT IS IN OUR GENERAL SCOPE THAN NOT, WE WILL SOMETIMES TAKE ON THESE PROJECTS. ALWAYS TO THE COMPLETE SATISFACTION OF OUR CLIENTS. IF WE DETERMINE IT IS IN THE PROSPECT'S AND THE COMPANY'S BEST INTEREST TO "WALK AWAY" FROM POTENTIAL WORK WE DO THAT, BUT WE COMMUNICATE THAT TO THE PROSPECT. WE DID THAT IN THIS SITUATION AND FEEL THIS COMPLAINT BEING REGISTERED NEARLY THREE MONTHS LATER IS UNFORTUNATELY A MISREPRESENTATION OF THE EVENTS THAT OCCURRED.
