I have used contractors from Angie's list, and always have received good service. I contacted J&J two weeks ago to receive an estimate to have my screened porch resurfaced. Brad was highly professional on the phone, and told me he would call me the following week to set up an appointment. No call back. I texted him 2 or 3 times and he finally returned the text last Thursday saying he would contact me this past Monday to set up an appointment. (He gave a date certain - Monday - not, 'next week' or 'early next week.') Days later, I have yet to hear from him. I own a business where exceptional customer service matters. If I treated my clients this way, I would not stay in business long. While I understand the holidays can impact schedules, he has now repeatedly made service promises that he has not kept. I have never (literally never) written a 'constructive criticism' review for any provider before, but I felt Angie's List should know. He not only wasted my time, but I could (and quite frankly should) have contacted other providers to move the process along. I liked him on the phone, and planned to work with him if the quote was within a range. It's frustrating and unprofessional to have a contractor repeatedly make commitments and neither meet them nor have the courtesy to explain why he cannot. Thank you!

Brad was recommended by our contractor who did a first rate job of building an addition to an existing screened porch. Staining for the new decking needed to wait until the wood had seasoned. I called Brad to set up an appointment for an estimate to do the staining. When I called him he was in his car and asked that I text him with my contact information, which I did immediately. Four days later I had not heard from him so I called again. He apologized and said he would come to look at the job the next morning. He did not show or call to let me know of a problem. I called later in the evening and left a message that intrigued him enough to call me back. He basically told me then, that he was too busy and was sorry he did not show up or call. In my opinion, Brad demonstrated a critical lack of professionalism and common courtesy to a good potential customer. He may do good work for some customers but my experience with him prompts me to recommend you stay away from his company.

Our deck contractor recommended Brad. We contacted him and he came out for an estimate very quickly. He recommended a certain type of stain that he used on all his projects. He gave us an estimate that we felt was very reasonable. He came out to do the work in two days, first washing the deck and then staining. The deck looks good and we felt Brad did a good job. We would use Brad again.

THEY ARE AN INFORMAL COMPANY WITH CLEARLY A LOT OF BUSINESS. IT TOOK AWHILE TO GET SCHEDULED IN, BUT WHEN THEY FINALLY GOT TO OUR HOUSE, THEY QUICKLY DID THE WORK AND THEY DID A VERY NICE JOB.
