Description of Work: They were amazing and the end result (immediately and now 10 months later)just fabulous! Can't say enough about their great work.

Description of Work: It was great. They sealed off our living and dining rooms from the rest of the house to keep dust localized. The work was beautiful. We arranged to be out of the house for a day and night because I'm sensitive to the odor. But after a day, it was fine.

Description of Work: Janar and his team are terrific, they did a fabulous job on our hardwood flooring. We had a water issue and had to have some hardwoods torn out. When restoration services was done with drying, Green Step replaced the ruined hardwood with new, then had to sand and totally refinish almost our entire first floor of our home. They did a beautiful job, came back for some of my particular little fixes, very professional, very knowledgeable on wood and flooring. I would use them again in a heartbeat. We had to wait for their services, but I did not want to go with anyone else even though they could do it sooner.

Description of Work: Refinished our white oak floors and replaced kitchen floor. Our floors look beautiful and Janar and all of the crew were fabulous. I would highly recommend!

Description of Work: Green Step was a subcontractor on our water damage remodel - the entire first floor was a mess. They replaced damaged flooring, added new, and refinished the entire first floor. |We good not be happier with the crew, their work or their 'can do' attitude. Working with them was a highlight of all the work we had done.

Description of Work: The provider measured the areas to be done and gave me the estimate. He was on time for all the visits and provided the estimates soon after measuring. The estimate was reasonable considering the work to be done which included removing the existing flooring and replacing with Brazilian mahogany wood floors. I was impressed with their suggestions and knowledge of the work I wanted. I had two other estimates but neither of them seemed as complete as Green Step flooring. All of the estimates were similar in price. We will be closing on the house in a few weeks after which I plan to have Green Step put in the new floors. I can give a follow-up after completion of the job.

Description of Work: We had our entire downstairs plus stairs and hallway upstairs refinished by Green Step. They look incredible. After 10 years, 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 3 cats - our original floor finish was a wreck - water stains, bare wood, just bad. We had them completely sand the floors and then stain and seal. They look better than they did when we moved into the house and they were brand new! We did go with the high end commercial-grade finish and I am glad we did. They evenness of color and texture is noticeable and we are thrilled!!!

Description of Work: I received quotes from Green Step to remove carpet and install hardwood. Even though I am in Sanford the quote from Green Step was competitive. I was very impressed with the reviews in Angie's list and have recommended them to a friend who lives in Cary. We decided to have a company from Southern Pines do the work as they had done work for our daughter who was very happy with them.

Description of Work: I sent an email to this company inquiring on getting hardwoods installed in my kitchen, and they called me 12 hours later. Very professional and responsive - I was impressed. Unfortunately they are booked out over 2 months out - so I am unable to use this service.

Description of Work: We had Janar and his team repair and refinish nearly 2000 feet of 40 year old hardwood. There was a good deal of replacing small sections, creating new thresholds, and other work beyond standard sanding and finishing. The work was excellent, the schedule met, the sanding and finishing were great, and there was far less dust and mess than I have seen in other houses. Pricing was excellent, and he stuck with his original price even with some unexpected extra work. A good team working for a good company and boss.
