i called gary jeudy about a month ago and he came out and gave me an estimate for a couple of jobs i needed done.the estimates were very reasonable and he was extremely professional so i decided to use him. 7/19 he showed up on time with his crew and got to work. they demolished the old roofing and found i needed some new wood so gary added that on and did a fine job. they had the whole job done in a couple of hours. they replaced the old soffit, rotting wood, placed new shingles , plywood, roof paper. they painted the soffit to match. it looks great. after it was all done they cleaned up and you would have never known they were there. just waiting for it to rain to test it out. i have have one more job for gary (a rotted out bay window in the breakfast nook) so he will be back. Gary came by the day after I called him. He was punctual and prompt on submitting his estimate. It was a fair price, relatively lower to almost the (10) others I have received. We sat down and discussed the project and he answered all our questions (on a Sunday; he's a hard working man). It was about three weeks later when we started the project, but we understood his prior commitments. The project started smoothly. His carpenters showed up on time and left around 6pm to complete their work. There was a slight hiccup with the roof not being installed properly and there was minor leaking inside our house but Gary was there to fix it. He always answers his phone when you call and he came by immediately to address the issue. The leak was fixed. It was a challenging pace because of the rain; but weather condition is outside our control, not to mention the Town of Apex is almost as challenging. The project lasted almost a month. His workers are swift and did not bother us throughout the project. They cleaned up when they left. Gary himself would drop by to ensure the quality of work. He was in contact with the Town of Apex on the permits and inspection. He attended to the small details we called attention on. Overall, we are very happy with our screened-porch. In fact, we are looking at another project with Gary and his team. Well done. I'm glad I found an honest, fair, and reputable contractor.

- B+/A- overall - Gary Jeudy was very pleasant to work with and his price was significantly less than others. He called when he found something else that needed to be addressed, but didn't pressure us into spending more. - Really felt that Gary was helpful and honest, which is a big deal to us. - Work seems to be very good to untrained eye - Had trouble with workers not closing our fence gate and our dog got out three times in a week. As in we had to go home to find him kind of thing. This happened twice after we mentioned it to Gary. - Workers, who were very nice, stacked trashed boards with nails sticking out of them right next to the driveway where the kids play for several days, but moved them when we asked. - The remnants of the work sat in our front yard for about a week after the work was done before they could come back to get them. Not sure our neighbors were thrilled with that. - Aside from those somewhat nit-picky items, we were very happy and feel that we got high quality work for a very reasonable price.

I called G Double for an estimate and Gary was able to make it out that same day. We discussed the project and he offered suggestions on the type of paint we should use. He noticed a piece of broken trim on a door in a separate area and asked if we'd like them to go ahead and fix that as well. It was actually something I'd been meaning to have someone fix for a long time so I was very happy he noticed and offered. After getting the rest of our estimates, we decided to go with G Double and I called to schedule. We lucked out and they were able to do the work within a few days. On the day of the project, everything went great. I worked from home that day to let in the painters and be available for any questions. The crew was professional and very courteous! They arrived on time, worked in a timely manner, cleaned up as they went and did a great job! I've always done all of my own painting, but with two young kids I realized I was never going to find the time to do this myself right now. I'm so glad I broke down and finally hired someone! I love the way it all turned out! The crew wasn't able to get to the small broken trim and told me they'd have to return the next day. Instead, Gary decided to come out and do it himself that night. We were very grateful because it would have been difficult for either of us to miss work the next morning. We could not have been happier with G Double and we will definitely hire them for future work. I think it's possible I'll never paint a room myself again. :-)

Gary and his crew did an excelent job building my deck and at no point durring the process was I unhappy with the progress or the work. We had a few delays due to weather, illness, and a picky inspector, but I never worried about any of this due to Gary keeping me informed about what was happening. When I need more work done at my house, I will definately be talking to Gary again.

We have used G Double Construction several times and should have utilized them for the project they came in a corrected for us! The group is always on time, protects our belongings and finishes the work in the time specified for the project scope.

The first time they came through they didn't do as good of a job as I thought they should have. They came back yesterday and fixed the problems for me.

The project went very well and we are happy with the room.

Gary is a super nice guy and he and his crew did great work. I will definitely be using them for future issues and updates on my home.

As with all home projects there was an unforseen issue involving the door. With the old codes, the door would have barely given clearance once you walked into the room. With the new codes requiring additional space for the insulation, it made it impossible. Gary brought in subs who were excellent and had to develop a plan to turn the doorway at an angle and cutting into the bedroom and closet. The finished product/look is excellent. While I would have never thought about "giving up" part of the bedroom to create the doorway as it is now, it actually added a great look to the hallway. Gary wasn't happy with how a couple of the seams in the drywall turned out after being painted and he went back and took care of them. The whole job should have taken about 10 days, but due to inspection delays and the doorway issue it went longer, but Gary kept us informed through the whole process. He was very courteous and so were all of the subs he used during the job. All subs and Gary were very prompt. I would highly recommend this company and plan on using them in the future.

I appreciate Gary taking on the smallest of task in addition to the painting. I will definitely have him come back to do some additional work.

Was prompt with getting us an estimate and was able to schedule the work quickly. Arrived on time and did a great job. Cleaned up when they were finished and left everything in great condition. Quality of the work was excellent and we couldn't be more pleased with how the stairs came out. Definitly knew what he was doing and would highly recommend and use again.

The job was completed on time and the work site was left nearly as clean as it started. I did find a few nails in the yard but that is to be expected. I had a few items on a punch list after my initial inspection which Gary immediately handled. After a few days, I found another area that needed addressed and Gary, once again, was very responsive and fixed the problem right away. Gary also did things like removed old paint from brick and other areas where a previous painter had done a sloppy job. He did several similar touch up things that I would consider above and beyond what was expected. It was a pleasure doing business with Gary and I would recommend him.

G Double Painting was a pleasure to work with. Gary and his crew were extremely professional and efficient in replacing and painting rotted siding on my home around the entire houser. Gary responded quickly to my request for an estimate and submitted an excellent price. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing siding repair and painting. Excellent company

Very well. Gary got an estimate to me shortly after we met, and was able to start the project about a week later. He was very knowledgeable and willing to explain to me what the project would entail. Gary and his employees worked Monday through Friday to get the project completed before the weekend, and they were both pleasant and professional. Gary was responsive to my communication via email and cell phone. The work improved the appearance of the outisde of the house in addition to repairing and safeguarding against damage. We plan to have G Double do some additional work on the sunroom roof and floor.

The service was really good. My only concern is that they didn't cover my patio furniture very well so there was a little over spill on it.

They were very responsive to my phone call and the questions that I had. I rate them very highly on all aspects of their service and I’m most likely to use them again in the future.

Two years ago last month, I hired G Double to replace several cracking strips in my large deck. This they did at a cost of $2400, but apparently stained the new pieces before they had properly cured. As a result, the stain had faded on these pieces but not on older parts of the deck that had been stained a year or so earlier. Further, the ends of several pieces had curled up and, in a number of cases, come loose from the underlying beams because, in one case, of inadequate overlap with those beams. Although these deficiencies had shown up within the first year, I had misplaced the name of the company that had done the original work. It was only upon receipt of an email from G-Double that I was able to try to get the problems fixed without hiring a new company. I called Gary who came out to examine his previous work. Without hesitation, even though it had been two years since the work had been done, he volunteered to fix it properly at his expense, attributing the problems to an improperly cured lot of wood. Within a week he had worked this project in with his numerous other ongoing ones and repaired the problems completely to my satisfaction. Truly, he ?stood behind his work? in the best sense. I volunteered to pay him $200 for his positive and professional attitude and performance.

I contacted Gary, and he was very prompt in his response and preparing estimates. For the garage work, he had contractors install some custom shelving (for organization). He had about 4 guys work on it, and they were done in 1 day. For my next project, I contacted Gary again to install some interior stone on some accent walls in my foyer. Had had about 3-4 guys come out and work on this. Because of all the area space and cuts, it took about 4 days. Their work is clean and percise. Gary is great to work with. I plan on contacting them again for more projects around the house.

Mr. Jeudy and his crew did an excellent job. He and his workers are prompt, courteous, and extremely professional.Not only did he complete all the work we agreed upon but he also did a couple of "extras" at my request and at no additional charge ! His estimate was half that of other estimates we received. We have worked with G-Double previously and have been well pleased each time. I would highly recommend them for your home repairs and/or home improvement projects.

Samples chosen and provided to contractor by color name. One bathroom (which required a base and a top coat) was painted the wrong top coat color. Even though the base was the correct color (tan), the top coat was an entirely different color (green). Contractor tried to say we provided the wrong color name. If so, why would the base coat have been the correct color? Reluctantly repainted the top coat color. The final color in this bathroom did not turn out as well as the other bathrooms, Workers careless. Even though bathroom fixtures were supposed to be covered, they obviously weren't as all new tubs sustained scratches. Job was not as neat as should have been performed or would have been if I did ourselve . Contractor had not painted initially behind refrigerator and I was happy about that as I did not want the refrigerator moved. When contractor came back to recoat bathroom, he called and said I painted behind the refrigerator. After the area behind the refrigerator was painted, new floor was found to be gouged and damaged where refrigerator was moved. Floors had just been repaired only 3 days before by builder to correct damage to the floor when refrigerator was initially installedContractor took no responsibility for damage stating they covered the floor in front of refrigerator. The damage couldn't have happened except during the course of this contractor moving refrigerator as no other work had been performed in the kitcken and we were not living in the house when this contractor painted behind the refrigerator. While the painting was performed quickly at a fair price, we would not recommend this contractor due to the damage and for the failure of the contractor to acknowledge or take any responsibilty for the damage. Considering that this contractor also has a construction business, repairing the damage to the floor would not have been a big deal for him to repair.We had previously discussed having this contractor do addiditonal work for us and of course the contractor did not follow up on that work. The only reason being the damge to the floor.
