My agent was Lowell Thornton. Not only is he a great realtor, but he is a genuinely great person. During the process he handled everything with extreme professionalism. While I am the type of person who makes decisions too quickly or moves forward without thinking. Lowell always made sure that I had the information I needed and that I took time to make decisions. Unfortunately I had to stop the process quickly due to a personal emergency, but Lowell has taken the time to make sure that everything was taken care of to halt, even though that meant a halt in a lot of work that he had put in and was now getting nothing in return. As soon as I am able, I plan to return to selling/buying and the first person I call will be Lowell.

We used realtor Barbara Phillips both for the purchase and 5 years later sale of our home in Cary, NC. In both instances Barbara provided outstanding, responsive service always in a professional manner. Most recently on the sale of our home she helped us navigate through the issues of a rapidly changing housing price and mortgage rate environment and helped us achieve a fair and reasonable price for our home. As with any sale, there were challenges that we initially believe would have a significant impact on a pending sale or future sale if the pending one fell through. Barbara took it on her own and many many phone calls to her contacts with builders and city building code officials and found a great solution that was satisfactory to both the buyers and us - and the pending deal was finalized. If you are considering relocating to the Cary area, we fully encourage use to you Barbara.

To be fair, I want to make clear that our negative experience with this firm came only through one individual agent, Jodie Walsh. I believe the firm, as a whole has earned a good reputation through good service. But, as for our experience with Jodie Walsh--it turned out to be somewhat of a nightmare. We were brand new to town and based on a recommendation (from one of her friends), we naively placed our fate, in this critical process, in Jodie Walsh's hands. It took a little while of spinning wheels and wasted time to realize that Jodie was not really interested in our needs at all. She was purely focused on her own interests and the prospect of a big commission, even to the point of providing us inaccurate and potentially damaging information in trying to get us to buy one particular house. Regarding house research and showings (and quot;agentingand quot;), Jodie was not thorough and actually quite random. But most troubling was this--Jodie was plainly dishonest with us on a number of occasions. When I finally pointed out some of these things, she went into bizarre accusations and attacks against me, personally. We finally went with another agent (who was great) and we bought a house. But it wasn't over. Months later, with no ethical or legal justification, Jodie began trying to pressure money/commission out of the new agent, by means of fabrication and threats. I intervened on behalf of the new agent and Jodie finally backed off. I regret not reporting this matter to the appropriate real estate board.

Overall there is no better agent whether selling or buying in our opinion in the triangle area. From the guidance in a rental, to searching for new homes, data, potential hazards and spending so much time with us, Barbara was great! She assisted with the whole process, from start to finish, closing, etc She is professional, courteous, and always prompt which we loved. We'd recommend her to anyone in the Triangle

My real estate agents name is Mary Lou Tull. She was our initial agent when we were looking at houses and renting. She sort of continues to check back to see how things are going and when I might be ready to start looking again. She's come over and picked me up to go on different appointments. She's just been very helpful in really looking out for our best interest. We haven't made any commitment with them yet. They are more interested in building a relationship with their clients than just selling homes and getting a commission. I can send her an email and ask her about a property. She is always very prompt in getting a response back to me which is nice. We are going to be buying a house within the next six to eight months and we definitely will be using them.
