Description of Work: I referred Daewood to a friend because I was very happy with the final results several years ago. I believe Xavier's level of responsiveness and quality has diminished during this time and I would not feel comfortable referring him again. The price changed after he won the bid and there were multiple appointments that he did not keep after moving the family and furniture out to refinish the floors. Someone else had to ultimately finish the job. Unfortunately, as a result - I honestly cannot confidently recommend him.

+ -1 moreThe job went well! Xavier followed up after the existing quote so it was obvioius to us that he wanted our business and would be hands on throughout the project. He and his crew worked very hard throughout the day and evening for minimal inconvienence to our family. They cleaned up well each day and he was responsive to a few areas that needed to be touched up afterwards. There were several "add ons" (receptacles, etc.) from the existing quote, but all extras we wanted to do at the time of the project. We got everything in writing once the price was confirmed so there was no confusion. He takes pride in his work and the final result was very satisfactory!
Description of Work: Xavier refinished existing hardwood floors (19 years old) in kitchen, sunroom, dining room, hall and living room as well as installed hardwoods in the family room to match the floors on the entire first floor. We completely changed the color of the stain (darker) and he weaved the new boards well with the existing floors. He also did 2 staircases and the bannister. There were some boards that needed to be replaced due to damage and he cut out new hardwood air vent receptacles for all vents; shoemolding was all replaced. He and his crew helped move our heavy furniture out of the house and replaced it once the job was done.
