DAVE'S ROOF REPAIR

Dave has done a couple of repairs for us, and he always, always does a great job. We got water during Florence, and he is really busy but made time to squeeze us in. His work is warrantied and I wouldn't use anyone else but Dave. Honest, priced right, and he does what he says he's going to do.

A raccoon had dug or eaten a hole in my roof while I was out of town for the weekend. I could hear the animal entering and leaving the attic on Sunday night. My dog began barking at the noise, and the critter left. I called Dave's Roof Repair on Monday morning because Dave had done some repair work for me about three years ago. He came on Tuesday and diagnosed what had happened. He fixed the hole with sheet metal and shingles, and I have experienced no further problems. I feel confident in the work based on the previous experience.

Paid $275 for nothing. It was not a roofing issue but a plumbing issue. Not happy to have spent money based on an incorrect diagnosis and unnecessary repair.

Dave was great! He was easy to reach via phone and email. He came out to inspect our roof first (based on a few things our home inspector had noticed). He explained why fixing the flashing now would save us money in the future (it could cause larger issues), and he came over to fix it 1 week later. He did a great job, and he lives nearby - a plus for us if there are anymore issues! I'd recommend Dave to any friends in need of roof repair, and we'd certainly use him again if we have any additional issues with our roof.

Dave was very professional and prompt and explained the job in thorough detail. He stuck to the estimate that he provided and did a great job in removing our satellite dish.

This is the second time I've called Dave. Both times he's been prompt, professional and fair in his pricing.

I contacted Dave via email (I work very early) around 5:30am on 9/24/15. He called me around 8:30am & said he would be able to take a look at the issue that day (late morning). Dave performed the required repairs while I was at work around 11:30 - 12:00 & left a bill w/ a stamped envelope. I inspected the seal repair from inside my 2nd story attic & could no longer see daylight thru the roof at the vent stack. Seal repair was given a 3 year warranty. I'm thankful Dave was able to complete this repair w/ such short notice.. the following week is when the Raleigh area was hit w/ ~12 consecutive days of rain.

Dave had fixed a roof leak we had about 2 years ago. When water came in on the other side of the house during a storm, I emailed him that evening. He called me first thing the next morning and was there by lunch. After examining the roof and attic, he could see some water in the attic but didn't feel it was from the roof. I strongly felt it was, so he did seal up some nail points and other areas that had never been caulked before. He felt like it should be done, but didn't feel like they would have allowed that much water to enter. He suggested I contact an AC guy as he felt the water might have been coming from the AC unit in the attic. I didn't because considering the timing of the water entry and the bad storm, I was sure it was related. Over a month later, I have had a lot of water coming into that room (no rain!), called an AC guy and yes, the drains are clogged and causing the condensation to come into the room. So Dave was right! I should have listened to him... I think he might be a bit pricey, but honestly I think anytime anyone has to go up 2 or 3 stories to get on your roof, the price goes up anyway. I would definitely call him again, and I recommend him to others!

Dave inspected my 19 year old roof and saw no major problems. He recommended minor repairs to extend the life of the roof.

I called Dave on Monday and he came to our home on Tuesday afternoon to make the repairs. I was more than pleased with his quick response given the amount of rain we have had recently. Dave inspected all of the roof vents and made repairs as needed then identified and made repairs to some shingles on the garage and to the metal roof over a bay window. I thought the price was a little high for a couple hours work but I was totally satisfied with Dave and relieved to get the repairs done before more storms hit the area. I would highly recommend Dave's Roof Repair and will use him again in the future.

Dave provided a referral in this case to another potential chimney waterproofing company since the issue seems to be related to the chimney and not the roof; Dave wouldn't accept payment for his professional counsel this time until we confirm whether the alternative waterproofing company might have a better aesthetic solution (i.e. covering the entire chimney, rather than having just a portion of the chimney where the leak may be located glazed with waterproofing).

I called Dave on a Tuesday. Within a couple of hours, he was at my house and on the roof doing the needed repair. He also noticed another minor problem with the flashing around a vent and fixed that too. I waited to write this review to make sure the repair held up and it has so far. Dave guarantees his repairs for 3 years. Overall I'm very satisfied and highly recommend this company.

Very responsive service and follow up. Showed up as scheduled, reviewed problem area and then repaired issue. It was rather a quick job, which is probably better than a longer one, but the $275 seemed a little pricey for the 20 minutes or so of work, with little parts (roofing caulk, nails, etc..) was pretty much all labor costs. That said, have to factor in the drive time fees and hour of day considerations, . He has very good professionalism and he seems to have good experience in knowing and finding roof issues, just on the higher cost side. Overall we were satisfied and there is a 1 year guarantee on the workmanship , which is important for roof repairs.

We would hire him again and recommend him to someone else.

He arrived when he said he would, did an excellent job and cleaned up when finished. I would use him again.

I contacted Dave to repair the hole. Since I deemed it as a non emergency, he explained how to cover the area with a tarp until he could come by. Dave came by the next day to repair the hole. Due to the age of our roof, he used sheeting to patch the hole. It was installed quickly and cleanly and Dave cleaned off the tarp and bricks used to cover the hole from the roof which I hadn't expected. We have had no problems with leaks afterward. He gave a three-year guarantee from leaks for his work.
