+ -1 moreRemoved existing trees and shrubs on left side of front yard. Replaced with 16 new shrubs, tilled soil, limed and remulched. Replaced two landscape timbers. Tam has always been prompt and very efficient in his design. He selects a good variety of shrubs that blend well with the house. This is the fourth time, we have worked with him and will not go with anyone else.

+ -1 moreTam is, by far, the best landscaper I've ever worked with, and I've worked with many over the years. His designs are beautiful, and he has a knack for selecting the right plantings for the space and conditions. On top of all that, he's a really nice guy, so it's always a pleasure to work with him. The only reason I gave Clouer a "B" for price is that their work does not come cheap. However, you DO get what you pay for!
Description of Work: We worked with Tam Clouer twice--once at each house we've owned in the Apex/Cary area. In both cases, Tam designed and installed a variety of shrubs, trees, and perennials. He also did some "hard" landscaping work at our current home. (He built a stone wall for our front and back beds and installed some pavers.) Tam also sodded the back yard of our current home.

+ -1 moreWhile not the least expensive, the work was excellent. I think it is a good value for the money. Tam called me after the first day to see how it looked. He also followed up after the work was done to remind me to water a couple of new shrubs he put it. Definitely call them, just know they aren't going to be the lowest price in town.
Description of Work: Tam and his guys put 10 yards of mulch down, 50 bales of pine straw, weeded the beds and trimmed trees and bushes.

+ -1 moreWe are happy each time with the addition to our property and hope to continue developing of other areas in our back yard. Tam is a great resource who can take our ideas and them in action and reasonable costs.
Description of Work: We have worked with Tam Cloer on 5 different planting at our house over the last 6 month. We were referred to him by Smith Lawn Services, who does our lawn, after a discussion about the planting lost around our house due to the drought the last few years. Tam has been willing to visit at our home several time to help us develop plans for spots were we wanted to replace or to just plant new nursery stock. Each time he and his crew arrive in a timely mannner, do their planting, remove old plants and materials and complete mulching of the new planting. Each time we are pleased with the results.
