Amazing Refinishing

I have used this company twice, each time for an investment property. The end result both times was very good. The first time everything went incredibly smoothly as I had an experienced technician who got everything perfect the first time. The second project I had a technician who was still in training and his end-result was very good, however it did take a couple revisits to get it to a place where I was satisfied. The company did a great job communicating with me & working to make sure I was satisfied, which is the most important part. Will definitely use again.

It looked great when it was finished. I believe it was a contracted employee who helped the company with thier overloaded customer jobs. The gentleman was very nice but he tried to get me to hire him for refinishing kitchen cabinets and countertops and gave me his own business card before he even started his contracted job to refinish my tub and shower unit. HE did a great job, though.

The tub looks great! There were a lot of chips and scratches so it took some extra work to prep but now it looks like a new tub.

We called and "Yuri" (who we think of as an artisan now) came out and did his magic. We're very pleased.

The man who arrived to do the job never introduced himself, clearly not a talker he went straight to work after confirming that I wanted to go forward with the job. He did not have any idea we had already paid in advance for the service via Angies List. I believe I explained this early on when it became clear he didn't know we had pre-arranged/paid for the job. I guess I didn't communicate well as when he was done, he asked how I wanted to Pay for it. The calking around the edge of the tub needed replacing but its replacement was not included in the "Angies List" price. He offered to re-caulk it for an additional $75. No Thanks. I also made the decision to change all the fixtures They were really in bad shape. The unnamed gentleman offered a full set (not matching what we had in the bathroom) that he had in the truck for an additional $65. No Thanks. It was known in advance (small print) that the fixtures were not included in the price. Didn't expect that. When he was done with the resurface and loaded his truck, he asked how I wanted to pay for this? Where did the disconnect occur? The work provided involves surface preparation, painting (color of your choice) followed by adding a no-slip surface to the bottom of the tub. These were well done and are holding up well. Just know that the "deal price" doesn't include everything you may need and you will have to make other arrangements to complete the work. I rated price @ B because the total cost of getting the job done was in excess of what was anticipated. Hiring the gentleman they sent to do the job would not be a good choice unless you understand that the actual price is considerably higher than agreed to. I rated professionalism @ C because of the obvius communication issues that could have been easily resolved by better communication by "amazing refinishing" with the person doing the work. I would not hire them again without first getting them to come evaluate the project to get a true bottom line price. The actual Quality of the work done was excellent. Beware of additional charges for thing not covered in "deal" price.

Our bathtub and tile surround were stained and definitely needed a refresh. Amazing Refinishing did a great job and really went above and beyond, Our tile surround needed some extra work, and the technician even ran to Home Depot to get a special cleaner. We were pleased with the job but after a few weeks we noticed some staining that was not entirely covered. They immediately came out and put on a second coat. We would definitely use them again.

Technician - Thomas took the time to explain the various options for fixing the necessary items including color matching. He went and picked up the necessary items he needed from the local hardware store and completed the job in about 2-3 hours. Overall seemed fine to me. I pointed out some spots that needed some final touch up and he took care of it.

Went great. Was a little late but he did a great job. Was very professional and would hire them again in a minute.

The process was easy from start to finish, and we are very pleased with the work.

it went well. they apply a paint type finish which restores the white to the tub. its not as good as new but its a big improvement.

I love the finished product of my tub, which looks brand new. Prior to the resurfacing, it was almost impossible to clean and keep grout tidy. After resurfacing, my tub is super easy to clean. I highly recommend if you are looking for a cost effective method of sprucing up your tub and/or tile.

I called them on May 18th to schedule service for a rental property that I am preparing to sell. The earliest date they could give me was June 9. I asked them if they could work me in if they were to have a cancellation and actually that is what happened only a day later. They called me back and rescheduled service for Friday May 22. Yuri came out and did a tremendous job refinishing the tub and surround. I noted a few cosmetic issues and he agreed to come back a couple days later to touch up. I also asked him if he could caulk between the surround and the tub--the caulk in this area had been removed to do the job. He said it would be an additional $25. I paid him. He came back as agreed, touched it up so that it was perfect and caulked all around. It looks terrific! I used an Angie's List coupon to get the work done. It was incredibly easy from first contact to finish to get the whole thing done and I am very satisfied.

This provider provided outstanding service. The technician showed up on time, got to work right away, protected and cleaned up the work area, and did an excellent job. The job was completed on time. They also provided excellent customer service. When I called back with a minor concern they came back quickly (and again on time) and took care of it. I would recommend this company to other customers looking to improve their tub/tile. For us this was a cost effective alternative in sprucing up our tub.

Yuri showed up on time, both times. Was very organized. Spread drop cloths through the house. Covered the walls and everything else in the bathrooms. They are both truly amazing!!

The owner Teet (Tet) Maidla responded promptly to my call and came out to appraise the job: a 1950's pink tile bathroom with a grey tub - on the second floor of my home. I had decided to refinish instead of replacing, because the iron tub and the tile were in good shape, but the floor and other plumbing fixtures needed to be replaced. I knew that removing the old tub and tile would be very time consuming and costly, and I would rather re-use when possible. I decided to refinish everything in classic white. Yuri started work yesterday morning and worked ALL day, until about 7:30 pm, to get the work done. He was quiet, careful and efficient and did a beautiful job. The walls and tub really do look "amazing"! Tet gave me a discount on the work because I am a member of Angie's List. Every step of the process in working with this company was easy and pleasant. Amazing Refinishing did a very nice "facelift " for my bathroom. I have the beginnings of a classic white bathroom.... I just have to lay the new tile and get the new fixtures in place. I got 3 quotes quotes and Amazing Refinishing had the best price. PLUS they actually showed up to review the work and gave me an estimate. The other 2 quotes were just done via email... subject to increases once they actually came to the job site! My tile looks brand new! I've used their services before and the tile still looks like new after 5 years. Very happy with all aspects of their service. They showed up on time for the estimate and the work was completed on schedule with great results.

First, the workman, Yuri, showed up and got right to work by the end of day one (of a two-day job) he had everything prepped (edges built up and sanded, metal corner pieces removed, everything in proximity to the countertops was covered as well as the floors). At this point my expectations had been exceeded. On day two the counter tops were coated, speckled, and sealed. If you're considering refinishing your countertops I highly recommend Amazing Refinishing. It's not a paint job, it makes your countertops look very similar to Corian (sp?). There's one major advantage that this method has over Corian or similar products; it a very hard surface but if it does get chipped it can be repaired. The owner Teet (pronounced Tet, sounds more like Ted) is a very nice guy and when he comes to give you an estimate he has a mobile showroom with samples.

My experience was a nightmare from beginning to end. First of all they do this faux stone look which I had picked out. Once they arrived they said sorry we can't do the faux stone look you wanted we don't have the right paint colors. I picked out another one and they didn't do that either. They oversprayed onto the backsplash which was a laminate. They came back to paint it, but now it is flaking off. They also brought German cockroaches in on their equipment - gross!!!! I have had several exterminators out to fix the problem. Apparently this is the worst pest you can get in your home. Green refinishing pro thanks for that bonus!!! I do not recommend this contractor. I wanted to do a quick fix to to my countertops until we do a complete kitchen remodel. They also messed up how the countertop lays around the sink and now I have a leak going down into the cabinet. Trust me do not use this contractor. The only thing good I can say is it was cheap, but with all the other hassels the cost saving was not worth it!

Very well. He removed wallpaper in two bathrooms and prepared everything well, cleaned up after finishing.
