The entire job took about 3 trips. He was very prompt and professional.

I felt disappointed and didn't feel trusting about the process so after two phone calls of not hearing back from them I thought they maybe went out of business. I never heard from them and couldn't use the deal. I wasn't aware that Angie's List stood behind their product and let the customers know that they can be reimbursed for future services even if the deal they purchased doesn't work out!

It was ok - he was a bit difficult to get in touch with, but the work he did was just fine.

Went very well, we actually accomplished more than I had hoped.

What he did, he did well, but he had to leave with about 45 minutes left. He said he would wash the paint off the drive way and finish off the rest of the time by installing an attic fan, but he never came back. I called and left messages, but he never got back in touch with me.

Shawn gave us the estimate witin a few days of our calling him. Soon after we called and told him we wanted him to do the job, he began it. There were a few delays due to needs of his family, but the delays were not a problem at all to us. He has done jobs for us before, and he always is knowledgeable, accomodating, and very skilled. We'll definitely want to hire him again.

We purchased Groupon offered by this vendor in Spring '11. So many sold he had difficulty getting to everyone. He's a very nice guy, communicated professionally via email, and extended service past Groupon expiration date to allow scheduling of all who purchased his carpentry service. He did not specify location exclusions for the Groupon and did not like coming all the way out to where we live (western Orange County). We paid extra to help defray his travel expense, but he was kinda grumpy the whole time he did the work.Skill was good, completed work as requested. Won't call him again only because he is too far away to comfortably get to us.

I got one of the Big Deal coupons, which would probably have covered the whole job. We made some appointments but they never worked out. The thing that bothered me the most is that he didn't cancel in advance or follow up until I did. His van broke down, another job ran long - OK, these things happen, but let me know you're not coming, because I'm having to make time to be there too. He didn't seem particularly interested in following up to reschedule. To be fair, I wasn't that responsive when scheduling, but I sort of lost interest after being stood up twice without warning.

Through no fault of A-Z my schedule would not allow us to work out what I was trying to get done.

Shawn was originally very communicative and responsive. When it came time to do the work I simply never heard from him again.

Shawn was a really great person to work with. He always gave numerous options for all work and explained the why behind various choices. I was able to leave the house in his hands and not worry about anything. He had the ability to do a very large variety of work - it was great to not have to go to multiple people to get it done. He gave an estimate in person up front and stuck to it. He gave extremely detailed progress updates as the work was ongoing. He is best reached through e-mail - you cannot reach him through phone - but he is very responsive through e-mail. I would absolutely recommend using him.

Shawn did come out to look at the work in 2011, we have exchanged a number of emails, but it has been a year and a half and he has not returned. I paid $69 for nothing and completed the work myself.

The owner did the work himself. He did what he said he would do and was very efficient. He saved me money on the eaves by pointing out that it could be pieced. He was knowledgeable and very earnest. He did a really good job.

He was excellent. I had purchased a promotion with two hours of time from them about a year and a half ago. He spent an hour on the bathroom door, and he said that since I still had an hour left, he asked me to call him when I needed him. I thought that he would simply walk out and that we would never see him again. I called him again for the cabinet, and we made an appointment. It took him two or three days to get here, but he came over, no questions asked, he did the job, and there were no problems. I was very happy with him.

Not responsive, had to contact several times before receiving a response. When he arrived to complete the work per the estimate that he worked up, he was not prepared, could not remember what was suppose to be done and did not have the materials. The ceiling fans were installed, but not how it was written in the estimate. The work was sloppy and not up to par.

Excellent experience working with this company, and would definitely use them again in the future!!! I had bought an Angie's list deal to use this company, but it ended up to be more work than the deal I bought, but they worked with me and gave me a price for the job noting the Angie's deal. The response time was excellent, the pricing was very good, and the qualitiy of workmanship was superb.

Ordered 6 hours worth of handyman service as part of an Angie's List Big Deal this past December. The provider was initially quite responsive to my order...suggested I get a second opinion about one of the tasks I wanted him to complete (a broken mailbox) which I did, and then got back in touch with him mid-January to schedule a date for the service. At that time, I did not hear back from the provider promptly but unfortunately, I was taken ill around that time, and was pretty much out of commission for the next 6 weeks, so admittedly, I did drop the ball at that point. However, I did get back in touch with him in mid-March, and while we did exchange e-mails a couple more times, he has never gotten back to me to actually schedule a date for the service, and now does not respond to e-mails or phone calls at all. In the meantime, I was aware that my Big Deal voucher was nearing expiration (mid-April), the urgency of which I did mention to him back in March, but this did not help expedite the process. Needless to say, I'd really like a refund of my money. Six months is way too long to wait for a service to be provided, and the lack of response to e-mails and phone calls is really unprofessional. If the provider was simply too busy to accommodate me and/or that my service was too "small potatoes" for him, I would have at least expected the courtesy of being notified and offered a refund.

Shawn was very responsive, provided the quote and drawings promptly. He let us know when he could schedule the work and did everything he said he would do. He also cleans up perfectly. During the process of the work, we needed a sheet rock repair (towel bar pulled off the wall) and a door bottom shaved. He did these repairs for $25, which was very reasonable. We will definitely call Shawn in the future. I can only imagine that Shawn had so much work from the responses to the Angie's List deals that he couldn't get to everybody, even to respond. We have worked with him twice now, and both times have been very impressed with Shawn.

Best in Class .... Gives good advice. Honest. yes, h eis busy. Best to communicate via email.

Paid for services that were never done.

He came to the house and viewed the repairs/installations in detail and then provided a detailed estimate the next day by email. With a few days he made the repairs efficiently, cleaning up after himself. His repairs were greatly appreciated, especially the door that had eluded repair for several years. He did a great job as a good price and I am planning to use him again soon.

Shawn was able to perform my work quickly and the price was very fair. I'm a remote landlord and Shawn sends pictures of his completed work. This is my second time using his services and I'm certain I will utilize him again. Quality work at a good price.

He did a fine job. He is very knowledgeable and very timely at getting things done. He comes over before hand to make sure he has everything he needs and then he comes back prepared and gets started on time and finishes in a timely manner.
