They did a good job. It was two college students who helped me with the work. They were polite and eager to work. Scheduling was great and they were able to work with my schedule.

They were reliable. They brought their own equipment. They're just trustworthy. I said that I would give them up to four hours and they did it in less than four hours rather than charging me for the whole time.

Two young strong men arrived exactly on time. They were ready to work, courteous, professional and careful with my things. I never felt anxious during the leading or unloading, and if you knew me, you would know that was a great compliment. I would use them again for anything that comes up. This is a great service!

Scott showed up right on time and helped me move a desk from the front door to facilitate bringing in the sofa upon our return. The two hour drive up (and two hours back) was very pleasant as he was both professional and personable. Getting the sofa out of the home in Petersburg was very difficult due to a tremendous amount of stuff blocking access. Scott took it all in stride and made it much less difficult than it could have been. Scott (and Sweeps) have earned my respect and thanks for a job well done!

The work took 5 hours, and they kept hard at it the whole time (except when I put them on breaks so that I could catch up to them). They were very polite and followed my directions well. I was very satisfied with their work. One of the sweepers was a bit late showing up, but had called to explain that he was buying work gloves for himself and his colleague. Since I had contracted for the job late the previous afternoon for a 10 AM start and required that they have good work gloves, that one's a little bit on me.

Had 2 fantastic workers show up on time and move a few pieces of furniture. Spent $50/25 hr each. Couldn't praise these guys enough....did a great job and were careful and courteous. Recommend them highly!

Each time I contacted Sweeps about a job they were very responsive and setting up a suitable time for a service appointment was quickly and easily accomplished. I can't say enough good things about Brian. He was very punctual and PATIENT...didn't roll his eyes or snicker even once at my inane questions or my pathetic attempts to type on the tiny iPhone screen. I will definitely use Sweeps again and not just for iPhone/laptop/printer issues.

The move went very well. The two "sweeps" showed up early for the appointment, worked very hard, and completed the job in half the time I had estimated it would involve. They utilize area college students. I would again strongly recommend this company for moving assistance, or for any of the areas in which they have expertise.

I posted my job online and was promptly notified that the job had been accepted and everything was set up to go. Ryu and Ian arrived promptly on the scheduled day and time. After briefing Ryu, he and Ian quickly began passing all the items in the living room back up into the attic. They were wonderfully quick and careful. They even paid attention to grouping all "like items," such as Christmas stuff, all together. Packing all our household items to store temporarily in the attic to make room for the painters, took longer than I had anticipated, but Ryu and Ian were very careful about packing all the glassware and pictures. They took very good care of everything, and were pleasant, enjoyable company to boot! I will definitely use them again. This is actually the third time I've used Sweeps, (formerly know as Tarheel Student Movers), and I've had a great experience each time.

It went exceptionally well. Morris, and the two "Sweeps" worked with my changing schedule to lock into a time when I arrived in Durham from Carmel, IN. As circumstances changed from my intended ETA, the two Sweeps and Morris emailed and called me to accommodate the changing schedule. Jeremiah and Taylor, the Sweeps assigned, were punctual in starting time, very thorough in their work, had great personalities, and overall provided excellent service. This is an outstanding company with a great business model based on providing a broad area of services using area college students.Pricing was very reasonable. Angie's List should keep a close watch on this company. They will be a great asset to clients with needs in the Raleigh/Durham, Chapel Hill area.

Two young movers showed up a few minutes early and helped us move. They were extraordinarily polite and flexible (we had to change the moving time, and they were very accommodating). They were being paid by the hour, but they didn't dawdle at all, and they treated all our furniture with care. I was really glad we chose Sweeps, and I would definitely use them for moving services again.

We have been impressed both with the efficiency of the Sweeps process for posting help requests and their streamlined payment process. We are delighted with the "Sweepers" who have done work for us. We have had Michael both times, with an additional helper, and have found them to be personable, responsible, and competent. We could not have been happier with the care with which they treated some heavy and valuable pieces of furniture. We will certainly be using them again and are looking forward to trying some of Sweeps other services.

I moved from Morrisville, North Carolina to Raleigh, North Carolina. Some other mover had gone out of business and they had a recommendation to another site that belonged to Sweeps who operated the same as they did. So, I ended up using them.

The pleasant surprise is that the young men are so well-mannered, well-groomed and well-spoken-traits you neither require nor expect with a moving service, but what a breath of fresh air! They were industrious, efficient and arrived promptly. What else can I say. I have recommended them to all of my realtor friends and suggested that the relocation service at my company contract them as a favorite vendor. They were just great and I can't recommend them more gingerly. Put them on speed dial! :-)

Overall, Sweeps did an outstanding job! The two young men that they sent, Mark and Travis, were prompt, polite and worked like madmen until all the stuff in our attic was moved down two flights of stairs into the garage. They worked hard and finished in three hours. The personalities of Mark and Travis made the job enjoyable. If you need anything moved, call Sweeps and ask for Mark and Travis. I would definitely use this service again.

I contacted Sweeps online just one day before I needed the service due to last minute closing on new house. Nonetheless. the students were able to meet me when needed and performed an excellent job.

The 2 gentlemen were puctual, polite and professional. With great care, they worked together to move all the items to the garage. We felt that the charge for the services was more than reasonable. Our expenditure includes a $25 trip charge, $50 for labor for two men for one hour (each $25 per hour) plus a $25 tip because we were so pleased. Morris, our coordinator, was easy to work with and was able to arrange our moving date promptly. We highly recommend this organization for your moving needs.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I admire Morris for making sure his customers are satisfied. The worker really knew what he was doing and that was very helpful. He was attentive to every detail (even vacuuming my son's room without being asked) and I appreciate his hard work. After this, I must say I would give Sweeps another try.
